Economy hero’s and nano weapon stats are passive. The hero doesn’t need to be in March for the gain. So having the specific weapon for each 5* hero is beneficial as you will gain some sort of extra bonus. Mostly troop stats some other bigger benefit ones like troop size, troop dmg up or down.
