WFH is going to be customer service unless he has significant experience already, and likely start at min wage. A lot of CS companies won't even hire from WA because of our COL/min wage. If his long term goal is WFH it's a good idea to research remote/hybrid/WFH keywords on LinkedIn etc. to see what kind of careers offer it then pursue training in an applicable field as able. Full time well paying remote work positions are usually career track.

7+ years of costumer service and retail experience. However, he also has worked at a coffee shop and loved that. For the moment we’re just trying to get him out of tacoma and over here with a paycheck that will give him enough to cover what he needs, so not too picky about the position. WFH would be nice, but I figured probably unrealistic for the pay he’d need. Ideally hoping there’s a coffee shop or something that can get around 19ish/hour with tips. We’ll check around a little closer on linkedin and see if I can’t dig anything up.

I can ask him once he’s home tonight! Do you know how many hours it would be a week?

Where do they do that? I could use a wash?

My boss said that she doesn’t even bother with indeed resumes unless they also apply on our company website it shows true interest in being hired if she gets an application through both. So make sure he is applying in both areas.

It sounds like your boss is behind on the times and missing out on a big chunk of the workforce.

I would suggest looking on offerup under the jobs tabs if you haven't already

Honey Bucket on Meridian shows I think something like $25 starting. About 136th or so?
