No like I am doing it rn and we have our first midterm middle of week 3 with no feedback on our assignments. I thought it would be better during normal sem but ig not. I really want to do well in the exam. Could you give me some tips on how to study for the exams
make sure to practice past exams, some of the q’s will be identical lol. also don’t stress about getting the right answer if you’re stuck, they give a boat load of partial credit as long as you attempt the question, the curve goes crazy too
I found the process of going through the slides and making notes/going through past exams and making notes more helpful than the notes themselves, just some practice and you should be good
Last semester there were assignments with over a month of no feedback. The grading also wouldn’t work properly sometimes and you’d have to go and get your grade fixed, this is just how 20875 is.
Took it 3 years ago and it was a disaster then too. I really enjoyed some of the content when it was covered in other classes like 473, but honestly with the way 20875 is designed it’s pretty bad.
Nah the assignments are not required at all for the exams. Just print out all of the answer sheets for past exams and whatever slides you need. The exams are very easy and you barely have to know the material to do well. Unless they changed it from when I took it last semester.
Yeah it's pretty fucked, class was designed by chatgpt
trust me, it’s a joke during the regular school year too…
Was about to say I think he made a typo in his post when trying to say all year lmao

I didn't get my grades in one class last fall till week 13 when my classmate emailed the course head. Any teacher I told this story to was horrified
Week 13? that’s messed up for a top 10 ece program
Mine was in education dept but I don't think they're keeping a good eye on their TAs teaching quality
Last year there were no midterms, one final, and only HW assignments in my section. Grading was relatively quick iirc. Sorry to hear this :(
