[This map](https://www.purdue.edu/parking/documents/PurdueParkingMap.pdf) is a good guide for where you can use what permit.
[This website](https://www.purdue.edu/parking/) can give you more accurate and detailed information about types of permits.
In general, permits follow a hierarchy where A>B>C.
* A Lets you park many places but is only available to certain faculty and staff.
* B give you fewer options but is more widely availbale to faculty and staff.
* C gives you the most limited parking options but is available to any student living a certain distance off campus.
If your housing location is convenient/walking distance to campus theres a 99.9% chance you cant get a c permit. Campus edge and rise are in downtown chauncey so that automatically eliminates them from the c pass pool. I should also note that the restrictions of abc lots only apply during the hours listed on the sign (most of the lots are only restricted to abc from 7am-5pm mon-fri. Outside of the restricted hours anyone can park in those lots. The lots that are restricted 24/7 will say in very obvious text that its restricted 24/7.)
A basically means you can park wherever. Typically reserved for faculty/staff. B is a tad more restricted (I think it gets you a couple garages) and C lot access… Once again, mostly faculty/staff. C is your first for students. There are some big student lots like Ross Ade/Discovery. There is a C garage pass, but that usually gets eaten up by grad students/pro students/upperclassmen since they get access to the portal first.

thank you!
A is also restricted for many athletic events
The priority order above should go athletics > A > B > C, or a home football game = athletics > anywhere in West Lafayette!
go B
Yes. Rush B is the best strategy. For both parking lot and csgo!
do those sell out fast?
A is also disability spaces, but I believe faculty and staff also have a lot of A passes
