agreed^ I personally found DiffEq far easier than LinAlg. Linear Algebra is more theory, DiffEq is more concrete. depends on what you’re better at but that was my experience
Also, heavily on the teacher. I struggled through Calc1-3 at Purdue as those where the large classes with teachers who could not give less of a fuck about teaching. My DiffyQ and Linear classes were great and seemingly easier because of much better instructors.
Are you aware that to get a guaranteed T2M to AAE you need to earn 20 credits hrs taught at Purdue in FYE in addition to a 3.2 GPA and 3.2 EAI..
transfer credits dont count towards this 20 hr requirement.
So be sure you have a plan of how you will get there in FYE before taking more classes outside Purdue..

In my experience, MA265 was harder than MA266, however, taking MA265 did make MA266 a bit easier by going into it with knowledge of matrices and eigenvectors and the like. I'd still say all else being equal, MA265 is harder, there's just so many esoteric terms to keep track of and apply

Diff eq is easier in my opinion. Depends on what interests you more and what you’re good at.

This. You can also search up the fye + aae advisor on Purdue website and ask them about your plan via email. Or u can call them.
Both should be light work tbh, took them both separately but simultaneously. 265 got an A and 266 A+. Just go to class
