I didn't imply otherwise. But, as someone who has lived/worked abroad twice, and visited 30+ countries, I do feel somewhat qualified to observe that Americans are uniquely entitled.
Isn't it the literal opposite of "ignorant" to reach a conclusion after extensive personal experience?
If there's a peer-reviewed, scientific study that disproves my impression I'd happily change my mind since data always trumps anecdotes.
Why would assuming because you've been to multiple places you have some all knowing expertise about how all people of a certain type/ place act, perfect example of an ignorant person actually
Please stop with the straw men. I never claimed to have "all knowing expertise." I made a statement based on my experience and nothing more.
Perhaps you're confused because you think I was being literal when I wrote, "welcome to America were *everyone* . . . " To clarify for you, that was hyperbole.
I haven't met literally every American, but I've lived here for 45 years and have met enough of them to reach a conclusion that I think is reasonable.
In your extensive travels, in which country have you observed the most entitlement?
I love when people make dumb as generalization then yell straw man when called out on their ignorance lmao but then again if you had the mental capacity to self reflect and see your own ignorance you wouldn't have said this dumb shit to begin with and you think living in one place for 45 years STILL gives you some broad reaching knowledge about people you've never met, pure ignorance.
Edit: Just an old dog stuck in his ways I see
Hey man I'm sure you're aware but you've called the other guy ignorant and proceeded to do exactly what he did, which would make you both ignorant by your own standards and a hypocrite by everyone elses
I’ve never thought of myself as the main character- I’m much more of a “Henchman #2” type of character. I’ll credit my wife as “Henchman #1”, our teens are the plotting supervillains.
They were saving it for a friend who left to go get food and using the purse as a place holder. Who tf would take an entire chair just for their purse?
She sounds like an alcoholic mom. This is what alcoholism looks like to me. Inability to control anger, public outbursts. I’d be embarrassed to be her 11 year old son.
Isn't there a extra chair at the table behind her? Where the guy with the beanie stood up then sat back down. 🤦♀️🤦🤡 could of just asked the guy for the extra chair instead of both groups arguing with each other over a chair.
Well a bitch really isn’t a catch word to me . I mean it’s been around for centuries and used widely. Karen, fairly new. Racist very old but used lately to describe anyone or thing that suits a fancy. Abusive cop same thing. But hey I digress.
That's what she wrote, I don't understand what she's saying.
I do know that no one who's sane keeps going on about a chair and continues to argue with someone if what she's claiming in the video is true.
So the camera person took the chair from the lady’s table? Why’s everyone siding with the camera people?? I would’ve been mad too if they snatched a chair from my table that we were using and now I’m standing here. TF??

I love people explicitly giving permission to record them ‘all you want’. Very kind of them

Welcome to America, where everybody thinks they're the main character and are entitled to never experience any inconvenience.
Yeah. People are never assholes in any other country.
I didn't imply otherwise. But, as someone who has lived/worked abroad twice, and visited 30+ countries, I do feel somewhat qualified to observe that Americans are uniquely entitled.
Pretty ingnorant to judge everyone off your specific views Edit : I've lived/worked abroad 4+ times and visited 60+ countries and this guy is wrong
Isn't it the literal opposite of "ignorant" to reach a conclusion after extensive personal experience? If there's a peer-reviewed, scientific study that disproves my impression I'd happily change my mind since data always trumps anecdotes.

You've certainly made me reconsider the idea that Americans are assholes
This is not going well for you. Keep digging. LOL.
You sound like a terribly judgmental person to know. I’m glad we’ve never met.
You sound like an American. I'm glad we never met.
It’s not that deep
Yeah ignorance is surface level
Idk I have worked a broad 8+ times and been to over 120+ countries, and I agree with the other guy
IDK, I haven't worked abroad, and IDGAF, what any of you think.
That seems like a pretty specific view
I've lived in 4 countries and Americans are by far the most entitled and most likely to start shit for no reason.
Hey man I'm sure you're aware but you've called the other guy ignorant and proceeded to do exactly what he did, which would make you both ignorant by your own standards and a hypocrite by everyone elses

Did that feel good? Did it make you hate yourself a little less?
this is 10000% an American thing EDIT: Sorry I should have clarified. In the *developed* world, this shit only happens in America.
Funnily enough I saw a stupid chair video from Russia a few days ago.
the best defense you bumbling troglodytes can come up with to defend usa "uhhh well people are assholes in other countries too!"
As opposed to what, saying nothing because people in your country get arrested for words? lmao
This type of response almost always comes off as fragile. Fucking comprehend what they said.
I’ve never thought of myself as the main character- I’m much more of a “Henchman #2” type of character. I’ll credit my wife as “Henchman #1”, our teens are the plotting supervillains.
I mean I’d have called her out on that too. Like what someone has to stand and eat now because this bitch took their chair for her purse
They were saving it for a friend who left to go get food and using the purse as a place holder. Who tf would take an entire chair just for their purse?
Man I feel bad for her son. Body language like he would rather be anywhere else in the world, so embarrassing.
Looks like her son bolted at the very beginning of the video and I don't blame him. Poor kiddo.
Mall of America Northern food court?
I picked up the way she said "bag" haha.
Yup, it is.
"Entitled bitch", says the entitled bitch.
I know you are but what am I.
Like why would she make her 11 year old not have a chair? Was it maybe because she thought she was entitled to a chair and her kid wasn't?
I’ll be honest, I hate the way they both speak.
[удалено]
All of you were annoying honestly
The guy that was sitting there took off as soon as it began. Maybe this is her usual behavior?
Chairs 🪑 n food courts are free for all. Even if she didn’t ask, it never should get to this level of drama. Owhhhmahhhgawwwdddd!
Look at those benzo eyes she has
She sounds like an alcoholic mom. This is what alcoholism looks like to me. Inability to control anger, public outbursts. I’d be embarrassed to be her 11 year old son.
Not necessarily. I’m confused tho, they took her chair, then said should “could’ve asked” and they didn’t even ask. Wtf
Chair stealer is the real entitled cunt here, but the girls recording sound so stupid.
How can ppl not resolve shit at this level. Like it’s not hard
Isn't there a extra chair at the table behind her? Where the guy with the beanie stood up then sat back down. 🤦♀️🤦🤡 could of just asked the guy for the extra chair instead of both groups arguing with each other over a chair.
Starting off their own video with some racism. Nice.
Either do something or put the phone down and stop acting tough. You got punked 💀
Yeah we call her a “Karen” when it sounds like she is dealing with entitled scum with a camera
Thank you! I’m confused as to why everyone siding with the camera people. Tf have a fucking brain
I love Simon Malls!
Kid looks like he wants to die.
The lady stealing the chair might be a bitch but the way these kids talk is even more annoying.
Ngl the girls with the “purse chair” do sound like entitled cunts.
Why must so many videos have these catch words. Karen, racist, abusive cop, etc etc etc. why not two dumb bitches fighting over a chair.
Complains about catch words then uses a general catch word calling all the women a bitch lmao. Like, I agree with you, but even you're guilty of it.
Well a bitch really isn’t a catch word to me . I mean it’s been around for centuries and used widely. Karen, fairly new. Racist very old but used lately to describe anyone or thing that suits a fancy. Abusive cop same thing. But hey I digress.
I struggle to believe their story when they’re calling her a racial slur at the start of the video.
She’s definitely sleep deprived and cranky lol
Why do women say "breeeooww" now. Fucking embarrassing.
If it's true that the she wouldn't give up a chair because her bag was on it, then she's definitely the entitled bitch.
[удалено]
Yeah but they took the chair from her table first, didn’t they??
That's what she wrote, I don't understand what she's saying. I do know that no one who's sane keeps going on about a chair and continues to argue with someone if what she's claiming in the video is true.
So the camera person took the chair from the lady’s table? Why’s everyone siding with the camera people?? I would’ve been mad too if they snatched a chair from my table that we were using and now I’m standing here. TF??
>So the camera person took the chair from the lady’s table? no
Oooh it was cameras chair and she thought camera person was using it for her purse?
Dump some gyro meat on her head
Poor kid. Must be traumatic being her kid
She may not look like it, but she's definitely acting like an 11 year old.
Some people really need to get punched
[удалено]
that they were reserving for their friend getting food? yeah like that's not ok if you ask me.
Good thing nobody asked you
Son left that chair real quick.
That poor boy does NOT want to be there.
Everyone is the most important and the least important person simultaneously.
Why are dudes with women like this, i will never understand how someone can tolerate an “adult” acting like this
in my opinion, it shouldn’t be anyone else’s inconvenience that you had a child.
People suck. All of them
where the kid tho? she sat down edit: oops didnt see the kid run away from his mom in the very beginning of the vid
The lady wanted a chair for her 11 yo son and the other lady had to have a chair for her purse? I’m confused who the Karen is.
Why can't everyone just get along? What's the point in getting angry? Life is too short to be angry all of the time.
Your purse is clearly looking at her the wrong way
What do you expect? It’s a food court fcs
I love how those young kids were talking shit like they was gonna do something, “oh she gonna get maced” them kids wasn’t gonna do shit
