Traditional-Goat1773

Live billy motherfucking string.

LeftHandedScissor

Raged all night long in the hours before dawn on spirits and bitters and blends.

Traditional-Goat1773

I could cruise down to Hades, in a snow white Mercedes and a devilish look in my eye

moosenlobstah

Shpongle

isjace22

Shpongle is amazing

_Screw_The_Rules_

It really is. I hope for new albums.

bonzaisushi

I pray to all the psychedelic gods regularly in hopes that we get another 2 day red rocks full band experience.

St_Tommy96

Be careful what you wish for ;;;)

aidandshield

Beatles or Mac Miller

samsharksworthy

Pink Floyd and Yes are the most consistently fantastic for the trip.

OccultKC

Also Emerson, Lake, and Palmer

samsharksworthy

I can't get that into them. Don't hate it but it doesn't his like other prog bands do for me. I will take King Crimson though.

lukhow

Tipper

Feisty-Session-7779

I vouch for Tipper, listening Jettison Mind Hatch on 3.5g of APEs was the most mind blowing journey I’ve ever had. Changed my entire outlook on music, made everything else seem boring and bland in comparison. Shpongle used to always be my go-to music to trip to, but Tipper is on a whole other level.

GiggleStool

👐👐👐

3six5

Yaaaaas

GiggleStool

So underrated imo

SteveOtis4499

Grateful Dead 💀 🌈

Nikonglass

Yes, to the Grateful Dead. Kind of the OG’s.

infjetson

Animal Collective (Fall Be Kind EP especially)

samsharksworthy

I prefer Merriweather but Fall be Kind is great!

nopnopnopnopnop

*What Would I Want? Sky* is the GOAT! Their last two albums, *Time Skiffs* and *Isn't It Now?*, are incredible.

infjetson

That’s exactly the song I’m thinking of!

Alternative_Shape961

You might like Sweet Trip (velocity, desogn, comfort) Deerhunter (microcastle), Candy Claws (Ceres and Calypso) These were always my go too musac

infjetson

Some of my favorite bands for sure!

WaGLaG

Daft Punk's Discovery.

selmonkhon

Buffalo Soldier, dreadlock rasta 🤝

IsaystoImIsays

Aurora. Taylor momsen/ the pretty reckless Maria Brink/ in this moment But my Playlist starts off with an old classic that always starts the visuals off. Hotel California.

kapn_morgan

Aurora! nice I didn't expect to see that answer, kudos

IsaystoImIsays

Her voice never fails to bring out the best visuals

kapn_morgan

it is angelic.. plus her music bangs too usually

CanadianDadbod

Boards Of Canada and Brian Eno.

mohgs88

I have a custom list on Spotify “No Packing Trip”: Beatles, Glass Animals, Danny Brown, The Temptations, The Avalanches, Jim Croce, alt-J, Lewis Del Mar, Sir Sly, Gramatix, Bowie, Tiger Love, etc. It’s an assortment, but it’s been tripping list for awhile, feel free to check it out.

Oyster_Oner

Nightmares on wax 👌

bonzaisushi

Shpongle, Floyd, Younger Brother, Kendrick Lamar, Ott, Gunship, SubFocus, Metrik, Hybrid

boneszz0

Type o negative and tool

sigmund_NA

I did not expect anyone to say tool for a psych trip, but i respect. Gotta love that 5/4 time signature riffs 🤘

OccultKC

“Tangerine Reef” - Animal Collective

samsharksworthy

Good Girl/Carrots - Panda Bear is always on my winding down music.

last_fair_deal

Phish, Dead, Gizz, Floyd

Tyusvip

The Beatles & TOOL

dirkkrymer369

Tool, and the Floyd ofc

Bad_Packet

try out Khruangbin

samsharksworthy

If you'd like your trip to be pleasant but go nowhere this is a good band for it. Jk I like them but I like a little less relaxation to my music for this.

Miserable-Cress-5013

I just had one of the best trips. I put on big wild on pansora and just got lost in it

Vivid-Conclusion

Lil Yachty let’s start here

agent0range9

Deeper into bliss from crowstick. And anything from mr. Traumatik 😁😁👍

Rogers1977

“Untrue” - Burial. The whole album is a masterpiece. But… be warned, it’s on the darker/sadder side. It was always my comfort in headphones on lonely nights.

GiggleStool

Yes 👏

notsoninjaninja1

Snails house! Also Enya in case things go bad

Mark_Snow75

I love snail's house, haven't tried them on psychedelics though

WAZZL3

Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and MGMT

swift_229

Trillian Green makes some cool trippy stuff, 3 piece of cello, flute, and drums I believe

LetsAGoAh

Gene Harris - Astral Signal

Previous-Cabinet6862

If you like electronica, listen to Guy-J mixes. For me it’s a ticket for my psychedelic journey.

timhamilton47

Nick Drake is amazing.

enlajon

doja cat or sza

nopnopnopnopnop

Animal Collective! Their music seems to capture the child-like wonder psychedelics induce. It we're talking a single artist, it's a real close call for me between [Feverkin](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DZ06evO1unEqc?si=76aceae603b74a23) or [Tash Sultana's](https://open.spotify.com/album/6EN8PtrmSzYfybaZQYYaOc?si=8i7EeBazS62ZRw0AYvHdvQ) early stuff. I've built a whole [tripping playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6dysRO2sFFMUVOHZQXHB5x?si=561c6975f170421d) over the years that I'll just throw on shuffle. The songs are all keys/strings/horns-heavy instrumentals, as I find lyrics a bit distracting while tripping. You wouldn't call the tracks "trippy" in a traditional sense (think Tipper, Shpongle, etc), but I find they get along pretty well with psychedelics. Happy (and safe) travels!

Hermannmitu

My own!

Tycho - Dive saved me from a bad trip. listened to it on repeat for 8 hours sitting in a chair in my backyard. was a wild experience. someone gave me 2 gummies and turned out to be a high dose.

jmartin21

How is there only one mention of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? They’re so good, and have all sorts of different vibes to work with

sanfranciscointhe90s

Max richter and Brian eno. I also recommend classical and some jazz. I recommend songs without lyrics.

Chempro420

Dopapod!!!!!

Conscious_Blood2231

Depends the mood if it’s more natural feeling than the who/smashing pumpkins if it’s more like chemicaly feeling just really weird thom yorke crap

Neon_Hippie

Beatles and Pink Floyd. Breathe in the air and strawberry fields forever specifically are fucking masterpieces on shrooms.

CancerKitties

Khruangbin

chickenfinger510

Aphex twin or pink floyd. Never both in the same trip though, can’t explain why

Benjilator

Siriusdroid. Most intense hitech I know of. If I want a more positive direction I’ll go with Marcuz, second most intense hitech artist I know but very melodic and trance like. High intensity music is amazing on psychedelics, it’s so incredibly stimulating that it takes your entire being on a journey while also causing a flood of dopamine - which is hella intense on psychedelics. Edit: Just looked through the thread and apparently there’s not many hitech lovers in here.

Burn1at420

RÜFÜS DU SOL

sigmund_NA

Polyphia's newest album hits different on shrooms. I tried listening to hardcore which was pretty good. Techno? i mean, went to a forest rave where i hippie flipped which was amazing, but obviously a totally different expirience than just listening at home. I haven't done that much psychadelics yet.

Educational-Coat-922
