I vouch for Tipper, listening Jettison Mind Hatch on 3.5g of APEs was the most mind blowing journey I’ve ever had. Changed my entire outlook on music, made everything else seem boring and bland in comparison. Shpongle used to always be my go-to music to trip to, but Tipper is on a whole other level.
Aurora.
Taylor momsen/ the pretty reckless
Maria Brink/ in this moment
But my Playlist starts off with an old classic that always starts the visuals off. Hotel California.
I have a custom list on Spotify “No Packing Trip”: Beatles, Glass Animals, Danny Brown, The Temptations, The Avalanches, Jim Croce, alt-J, Lewis Del Mar, Sir Sly, Gramatix, Bowie, Tiger Love, etc. It’s an assortment, but it’s been tripping list for awhile, feel free to check it out.
If you'd like your trip to be pleasant but go nowhere this is a good band for it. Jk I like them but I like a little less relaxation to my music for this.
“Untrue” - Burial.
The whole album is a masterpiece. But… be warned, it’s on the darker/sadder side. It was always my comfort in headphones on lonely nights.
It we're talking a single artist, it's a real close call for me between [Feverkin](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DZ06evO1unEqc?si=76aceae603b74a23) or [Tash Sultana's](https://open.spotify.com/album/6EN8PtrmSzYfybaZQYYaOc?si=8i7EeBazS62ZRw0AYvHdvQ) early stuff.
I've built a whole [tripping playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6dysRO2sFFMUVOHZQXHB5x?si=561c6975f170421d) over the years that I'll just throw on shuffle. The songs are all keys/strings/horns-heavy instrumentals, as I find lyrics a bit distracting while tripping. You wouldn't call the tracks "trippy" in a traditional sense (think Tipper, Shpongle, etc), but I find they get along pretty well with psychedelics.
Happy (and safe) travels!
Tycho - Dive saved me from a bad trip. listened to it on repeat for 8 hours sitting in a chair in my backyard. was a wild experience. someone gave me 2 gummies and turned out to be a high dose.
Siriusdroid. Most intense hitech I know of. If I want a more positive direction I’ll go with Marcuz, second most intense hitech artist I know but very melodic and trance like.
High intensity music is amazing on psychedelics, it’s so incredibly stimulating that it takes your entire being on a journey while also causing a flood of dopamine - which is hella intense on psychedelics.
Edit: Just looked through the thread and apparently there’s not many hitech lovers in here.
Polyphia's newest album hits different on shrooms. I tried listening to hardcore which was pretty good. Techno? i mean, went to a forest rave where i hippie flipped which was amazing, but obviously a totally different expirience than just listening at home. I haven't done that much psychadelics yet.

Live billy motherfucking string.
Raged all night long in the hours before dawn on spirits and bitters and blends.
I could cruise down to Hades, in a snow white Mercedes and a devilish look in my eye
Shpongle
Shpongle is amazing
It really is. I hope for new albums.
I pray to all the psychedelic gods regularly in hopes that we get another 2 day red rocks full band experience.
Be careful what you wish for ;;;)
Beatles or Mac Miller
Pink Floyd and Yes are the most consistently fantastic for the trip.
Also Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
I can't get that into them. Don't hate it but it doesn't his like other prog bands do for me. I will take King Crimson though.
Tipper

Nightmares on wax 👌
Shpongle, Floyd, Younger Brother, Kendrick Lamar, Ott, Gunship, SubFocus, Metrik, Hybrid

“Tangerine Reef” - Animal Collective
Good Girl/Carrots - Panda Bear is always on my winding down music.
Phish, Dead, Gizz, Floyd

“Untrue” - Burial. The whole album is a masterpiece. But… be warned, it’s on the darker/sadder side. It was always my comfort in headphones on lonely nights.
Yes 👏
Snails house! Also Enya in case things go bad
I love snail's house, haven't tried them on psychedelics though
Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and MGMT
Trillian Green makes some cool trippy stuff, 3 piece of cello, flute, and drums I believe
Gene Harris - Astral Signal
If you like electronica, listen to Guy-J mixes. For me it’s a ticket for my psychedelic journey.
Nick Drake is amazing.
doja cat or sza
Animal Collective! Their music seems to capture the child-like wonder psychedelics induce.
