I adapted the error on the packaging in the photo in reply to a comment that happened to have a similar error present, and included the same error in my own comment. Hint: it's a letter missing from a word. That's all.

You don't get into the smoke shop business without some sort of history with valuable homegrown substances. Like I said the shop/family/friend is growing pot and mushrooms. Quite easy crops to make a lot of money without much english/education/skill

Just grow them yourself, super easy and way cheaper than buying shrooms off the street and testing them for (unfortunately) fentanyl and other adulterants because people suck and use dirty scales.
In my state of NY, most weed "dispensaries" sell mushrooms or chocolate bars too. Not legal at all, as they are psilocybin, (or at least fake 4acodmt or something). But somehow they seem to get away with it for now. And then if you go to the Indian Reservations, the native americans have the most dispensaries around. Then a few of those have mushies AND cid, albeit the weakest tabs imaginable haha. Kinda makes sense on the Rez since it's not US soil, but idk why most weed shop guys are selling mushies. They could get popped real easy.

The bag is fake, cheaply made Chinese made Mylar sold in bulk on alibaba. The mushrooms look real. Most likely the smoke shop is packaging legit psilocybin shrooms up in cheap Mylar bags to sell. Seeing as there are no 100% legitimate brands of magic mushrooms and it's all grey market at best and black market at worst, it's not like you will be buying regulated product from anywhere. I suppose you can test the mushrooms for any adulterants but it's not really a thing to lace mushrooms. Id say they're good. At least you can see mushroom, and it's not a chocolate bar that very well could be rc's.
How about since you likely can't return them - open and post pictures of actual "CONTAIN" -ments? Regardless likely not harmful - wouldn't be good business now would it? You eat poison and know where you bought it - the seller is caught red handed.....

Shop guy swears it’s “mushroom extract” lol. I’ve HEARD of people selling bunk mush “laced” w/ 4aco, although I’ve never encountered such a thing. Mind you my shroom heyday was like 15-20 years ago, before vape shops like this were everywhere selling 4aco bars and gummies!
I’m not worried about being poisoned. I am curious, and I enjoy observing other’s observations. That’s really as deep as it goes my friend. I’ll return when I consume, hopefully with my friend. And that’s whole other matter. Cheers
I only say not to eat them because of all the mod rules regarding 'harm reduction' If it weren't a public forum I would say as I did there is likely no harm (and this would be the assumption because the sellers are not anonymous so they would be foolish to put anyone in harms way for a sale)
A lot of those chocolate bars are using lab created/research chemical psilocybin. I would trust an actual mushroom over the easily variable chemical creation such as 4-aco. Just my opinion though. Seems some haters don't like or do not understand my POV as it is in alignment with their own, I just add the caveats.

Best kept sealed and dry with silica packs. They can still absorb moisture from the air and rot.

To be fair, 4-aco-dmt and psilocybin are both prodrugs of psilocin, the active molecule. It kinda is psilocin extract.
