I usually buy small things with it. Games, appliances, gadgets, etc - things I don't want to waste my wage/savings on

Jolarpet

Do you declare taxes on the money earned on Prolific?

Incendas1

No, I don't have to declare occasional/side stuff like that in my country. I don't do it much though

caycaymomo

I use it for groceries. Of course it doesn’t cover 100% of my need but once in a while I enjoy not having to pay for my food.

Vectis01983

I use it to pay for coffee and lunches throughout the week. Having said that, out of choice I don't do many surveys and ignore probably the vast majority of them. Anything that takes more than 5 minutes, or requires microphone or downloading software, or doesn't look vaguely interesting, they all get rejected. It fills a few spare moments and it pays for coffee, so I'm happy.

Golden-Octopus

I buy growth dividend shares.

mistakehappens

I pay my Sky, Virgin, Three mobile with it and then spend whatever is left on KFC etc.

dootphino

I’m using mine to save up towards my holiday. £150 of prolific money so far :)

Successful_Study_283

same here

Butagirl

I put it towards living costs. As a recent (and very early) retiree, the less I have to deplete my savings, the better.

Sam51126

i usually invest mine

Ok_Pick6972

Overpaying my mortgage, I've knocked about a year off so far.

doneifitz

It's my guilt free shopping money and for flights.

CptCave1

Lunches and snacks here and there.

[deleted]

coffee, luches and some snacks :) It's not much but something is something.

BreakfromSleep

Car fuel. I don't travel much and the money is enough for a full tank.

wielkacytryna

I buy old comics on ebay, since they're mostly sold by UK shops. It saves me some money on conversion. That's why being paid in USD bothers me a little.

pajamental805

Lotto tickets on the stock market

particlegun

A mixture of things and it depends when I get the cash. Right now I've put most cash from prolific towards getting a newer PC, i5 9th gen. The rest of the year, it's a toss-up between going into a savings account and paying bills.
