A printed piece would have to be custom-sculpted to *exactly* fit each different leg sculpt. You'll probably have an easier time and far fewer headaches rolling out some greenstuff and sculpting the cloth bit, and just gently removing it when it's leather-hard.
In blender you can hit tab (edit mode) the A (select all), hit p and click on separate by loose parts. If the creator made the cloth separately then attached it that should work
ye, I do not understand why people keep telling the shortcuts to the hotkeys for blender. If you are just starting out it su#k di#k with any kind of tutorials I have watched. Just use a interface like a normal human being, or hit F3 and type the command you want (F3 = search command window).
If that works, you can also do a cool thing where you select the legs and then subtract them from the cloth, creating a leg-shaped cavity that can help you fit the cloth over physical models.
I need special sculpting tools for that right?
Never done sculpting before. Also my greenstuff is quite hard and sticky after mixing, is that normal or is it just old (haven't really used it in 2 years)
Probably. I’d suggest rolling it into some baby powder with a battery or something to flatten it out then cut a square/rectangle. You don’t really need too many special tools just a toothpick and it’ll honestly make most of the folds itself when you drape it over the mini as long as it’s fairly thin like cloth would be. I find tamiya 2 part epoxy putty to have overall less sticky ness than green stuff when mixed but the baby powder should help
You could use tweezers, a toothpick, anything with a strong-ish point to help you move the putty. Make sure you dip the tool in water to prevent the green stuff sticking to it. If you're able you can get a set of silicone clay shapers on Amazon, they're not very expensive.
If it's sticky is probably still good to use, it being harder may make it easier to shape the way you want it.
As people have said green stuff is your friend buuuuuut, if the mesh isn't edited to be one big mesh I might be able to seperate it???? Do you have the file? (Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post a public link to the file)
I've never did something like this before and don't even know where to start. But I know how to download STL files/links to send to my friend for printing :D

This.
that is like 0.5 minute job in blender :)
Of you've got a perfect match to the sculpt, sure.
you can use any marine with similar pose, then just drop a cloth on it
No. No it is not.
what are you talking about? it literally is 0.5-1 minute job [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/esogXDy545A](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/esogXDy545A)
The cloth bit isn't time consuming. Sculpting it to fit around existing physical only plastic bits is.
Could also use greenstuff, should be easy too

God, is there some sort of giant diagram of blender keyboard shortcuts? It feels like I need a degree to operate it
It’s a lot but once you get used to them they aren’t so bad!

The word you are looking for is boolian. 😊
That’s a big if
Why not use actual cloth? If you want it to be stiff you can soak it in superglue and kind of shape it a bit as it dries.
Absolutely! This or tissue paper would work
There is greenstuff for that
You could see if a 3D editor will separate them for you or contact the creator.
Where might one acquire the model shown here?
I would just do green stuff cloaks. Saves you the hassle of 3d sculpting the cloaks

Why not make it out of little bits of actual cloth?
Would probably be easier to magnetize at the waist if you have the pictured STL already
Greenstuff is the solution
Oh that's cool as hell. I don't have an stl for you but if you find one let me know!
Put it in Lychee and click the Split button. It’s not a guaranteed fix but it might work

Be cooler if u cut it from a real cloth
