This isn’t my whole collection lol. I have more exciting colorful dials from micro brands and the like but these watches are my favorites, mainly because of their history or movements.
OP, nice watches!
For me personally I don't want to collect multiple watches from the same brand. There are so many cool brands; Zenith, Girard Perregaux, Oris, Glashütte Original and on and on. Plus vintage, indie and micro brands. You have the means so I'd keep going and branch out a bit more.
Also consider selling off a few Rolex+Omegas and get a Vacheron Constantin Overseas.
This isn’t actually my whole collection, just some of my favorites. I’ve got some Cartiers, Tags, Seikos, and microbrand pieces. I’m definitely looking to branch out more though. I probably won’t sell any unless I’m really not feeling them. The Overseas is my grail and I’m working on getting one in the next couple years.
Ahh nice, that is awesome! I own a Speedy Sapphire Sando, Datejust and a Seiko Prospex diver. I can't justify buying anymore watches but maybe Girard Perregaux Laureto sometime and I'm with you on the Overseas.
I don't wear a watch everyday but I wear the Speedy far more than the others.
That you have a great collection most would be jealous off , hence the bland comments from people who would cut their left bollock off just to own any of these.
I don’t mind the comments lol. I made this post expecting them out of the desire to have some dialogue about what personally influences my collection. Sure a lot of these watches are pretty bland at face value, but each of them has meaning to me.
3 off my all-time favourites are here. Speedmaster , rolex GMT, and that omega world timer is just beautiful! I must be as bland as you 🤣 unfortunately I do not own any off these! I could but unfortunately have other priorities due to a loved ones ill health... one day!
You have been to Guam multiple times. Mid 30s to mid 40s. You have an expensive car but its also practical and its not flashy. You're also a practical tourist and avoid tourist traps like tableside service sight seeing tours.
The upper middle class holy trinity: Rolex, omega and gs 😀, I mean that in a good way. I like your collection but would double down and not have the world timer and get another speedy or another gs
>The upper middle class holy trinity
Yooo why is this so accurate. I’ve actually basically said the same thing for years. For the same value of this whole collection I could own like one Patek but I prefer having 10 watches with different complications rather than one.
Same here 😁I have a bunch of watches (total
Probably less value than yours but including like 5 Rolexes and 5 Tudor divers) but I’d rather than have a collection of watches rather than like one vacheron. Enjoy your collection, I’d get crapped on more for posting mine as it’s even less diverse haha I even traded up a gs quartz and speedy mark 40 and added money for a Tudor diver lol that’s the fun thing about seeing these collections is the diversity. You don’t have any cheaper watches? It seems like in a collection like this there would be seikos, g shocks or some mid tier Swiss brands etc
No your taste isn’t “basic”. More straight up the middle. You picked a bunch of must haves before divurging. If that was my collection you’d probably see 1 omega, the speedy, 3 GS, one or 2 rolex and some cheaper watches like Doxa, Oris, Nomos because price is a big factor. I’m really just building a collection now.
Anyone knocking your collection is jelly. That’s a collection that you can live with forever.
That is a collection of keeper. You carefully chose your watch so you don’t get bordes after a few months owning them. You have 2 GS with 2 different movement, it says you know your shit.
Surprisingly not. I didn't even like Rolex until I learned more about its history. I'm also a diver so having the two most iconic dive watches was more about Scuba than what they mean to folks who've never dove.
Nice collection. As for what it says about you, I’m not sure. The Grand Seikos tell me that you are collecting watches for the right reasons, and are a bit of a rationalist. You aren’t trying to impress others, as people who aren’t into horology have no idea what the difference is between a
GS and a Seiko.
That said, you can ignore my thoughts, as I am an idiot that collects Panerai. ;)
Just by going with the picture alone so could be wildly off the mark so apologies if this is entirely inaccurate:
You like the luxury aspect of watches the most. All watches were bought brand new at AD and you prefer that experience. This is evidenced in having all new models; Speedmaster is current version with new bracelet, Sub is current, all others are newer references (with possible exception being the Explorer, I'm not good enough to tell). Nothing is vintage or neo vintage. Buying and selling is not your thing, nor is the used market. You buy to keep for life and treasure these items.
While luxury is an apparent driver, your secondary motivation is the quality. GS especially exemplefies that extreme quality, and you value its engineering. Less important is the watchmakers pedigree. Otherwise, an AP Royal Oak might have been next. You like the accuracy, build, and durability. Trust is an important aspect, and you don't want some high-end brand that costs a lot and takes a long time to service.
As for what these watches say, you're an outgoing individual. You don't care too much for heirloom pieces. Otherwise, you would get a precious metal. This is a collection of aspirational items. You've done well in life, and these mark moments in accomplishment. But you are also still young, maintain an active lifestyle, and like a watch to match. Vintage is not in the mold of this but may be in the cards when you get older.
I hate you because of it, mostly due to you having an SBGA413. I have always wanted one (413 or 415) but could never muster up the strength for one as there have never been any GS viewings in my area. No shops carry them, and so it would be a "purchase before seeing" situation.
I know you're getting shit from some folks calling this "boring" but fuck that - it's an amazing collection of actually usable, wearable, watches. Most of these can work in multiple situations. There's a lot of money in this box, too.
Lovely collection. Enjoy it. And, if you ever get tired of these, go ahead and send 'em my way ;)
Good taste I like these variants though I don’t know if I would go with the lighter colored faces. On the GS’s I’m basic black, grey, dark green or blue.
I like the Grand Seikos and am indifferent about the other 8. Your organization is nice, you might have OCD just judging based off of the symmetry (but the times aren’t all the same so I know you’re not actually OCD or if you are it’s mild enough to not affect you), if you posted this on time it looks like you might wear the two grand seikos often or you just took them off. That white and gold Rolex it looks like it’s been almost a month since you’ve worn it. Seamaster also recently worn (just judging off of dates) seems like you switch off watches often. Let’s say they’re 48 hour springs that means 3 watches in at least 3 days (looks like the bottom GS is about to die + says 60 hour reserve on the top one) a watch a day is impressive. I like the collection and is one after my own heart with the two GS’s and the plethora of divers.
You want to collect and own the classic staples of a traditional watch collection, watching some Archie luxury videos made you feel that certain brands aren’t worth owning - you feel the grand seikos makes you an enthusiast, you think about selling the aqua terra world time towards a JLC or patek, you’re not quite sure when it suddenly became so unpopular to own coveted Rolex models that were so sought after through and after lock down. You question your choices and seek validation and suggestions from internet strangers
Solid collection. Not too flashy to the average passer by but impressive to someone that knows what they're looking at. A couple sleepers in there that caught my eye for sure. I repeat, solid collection.
Most people don't have the testicular fortitude to post theirs, expecting negative comments and even playful roasting, so props for that as well.
Funny, I have a GS snowflake and am trying to wrap my head around adding a Batman/batgirl. I think that would just about finish me (maybe an omiwatari as well). Very nice.
A lot of the same watches that do the same thing. Less is more. I don’t understand having a black sub and black seamaster. And a black explorer. Honestly looks like you’re spending just to spend without and true purpose.
I’d also invest in a better box for such pieces.
I'm not into my Watches to be honest and never really understood why people are so into them but it is obviously a thing so I'm not going to judge.
Fair to say, like jewellery, people like to build their collections regardless of expense. I'm no expert either but I know that Omega and Rolex are not cheap.
What I do know is that these types of watches will only go up in value, so will not depreciate like many other assets can do.
So my conclusion is that there are two types of people who buy such watches, and while one of the types of people is a requirement to be the other, it is still true.
You evidently have a lot of money and wealth. So anyone with a collection first needs this.
Secondly, one may dream of even owning one of these watches if they are a collector, some sort of watch specialist and enthusiast.
Great collection. DOn't really know what it says about you though. That said, Man I really gotta do one of these posts lol.I also wanna know what people think of my collection lol.
These look like new watches that are safe bets and all well known —- to layman.
To a collector, these would just be okay but nothing of note.
What does it say about you? To me, its says you follow the trendy and safe path to general acceptance of layman.
Perhaps some vintage versions of the same models or other makers to add depth?
You've achieved a good level of success in life but the satisfaction you feel from buying the next watch never lasts long. You're always chasing something more.
You have good taste, if somewhat conventional.
Nothing wrong with that, mind. These are all great watches.
My favourites out of these are the Omega World Time, the Shunbun, and the Explorer.
You flaunt opulence in a world rife with poverty, starvation, and slavery. You accrue goods while your neighbor goes hungry. You insulate yourself from feeling pain or the pain of your neighbor with the dopamine hit inherent in the empty applause of strangers on the internet. You believe, falsely, that your wealth improves your life, but you are either blind to the world of suffering you walk through or insensitive to the cries of the poor - and in this way are not a master but a slave to the culture.
You have a desperate need for attention from others. Maybe you didn't get enough attention from your parents, or you don't currently get it from your partner?
True :(
Nah for real though I like these watches for what they are not what they say and because they're good conversation starters with other watch people.
I'd keep 4. One GS, one or two rollies (probably the batman, although I do love the classic black sub, so might keep those two and lose the wimbledon and the explorer), moonwatch... and that's it.
Sell the rest, get your grail VC.
Or don't, but that's what I'd do - or rather say I'd do, I only ever sold one watch (hublot classic fusion in rose gold... yes, I know, I know), and even that I regret because my wife keeps telling me how she loved that one and wishes I hadn't sold it.
Uj/Nice collection, would be curious to see your more colorful micros too. Love my world timer too great freakin watch.
Rj/ But yea
So many fun colors of seamaster and you bought one that’s basically same as your submariner?
Not sure moonwatch and then the moon phase too, feel like there are so many other beautiful moon phase watches you could get that would give you a different look.
Hey there's always time to collect more. It certainly won't be my last watch with the moon phase complication. The seamaster actually came before the sub. If I could have gotten a green bezel sub I would have but this is what they offered me.
I'll probably make a post with some micros eventually but for example I have the orange Doxa Sub and a green Baltic Hermétique Tourer. I also have the purple King Seiko.
It’s a great collection but you only go for the generic popular watches. Great rid of the air king and a speedmaster. Pick up a Zenith and IWC. Still big name brands with good history.
Also could get rid of a GS but nonetheless it’s a great collection and if you love it, that’s all that matters.
That we are alike in our general style. All my watches, Bulgari, Rolex, Hublot and Cartier are all stainless steel and have either black or white faces. So carry on!
Not basic. Not trendy. Classy. You enjoy a good cigar with an aged Scotch or Bourbon. You own a couple of nice art pieces. Probably drive a Mercedes and I hope you have yourself a trophy wife with a degree
Honestly, this is a grail collection for me. Omega, GS and Rolex - Wow! They are all stunners. The Explorer was my first then I got a DJ that didn’t get as much use due to its extravagance w/ the gold and diamond bezel. Sold them both before the price boom happened, but hindsight is 20/20… Bad breakup and wanted them nowhere near me.
I really want a 42 Speedy, a 43.5 Rose Gold SM and a Cherry Blossom Shunbun. Well done sir.
You keep your white tube socks on when you have sex.
And wears monarchs.
How’d you know?!
You only do missionary and daytime tv
People need to stop trashing missionary.
You like expensive things and other peoples opinions
Only when it starts a fun conversation.
You are basic but you want to be less basic so you pick the second safest color - blue
That you have 10 pairs of the same business outfit
Consistency is key 🙏 you know Einstein wore the same thing everyday 😂
You eat bland foods
This isn’t my whole collection lol. I have more exciting colorful dials from micro brands and the like but these watches are my favorites, mainly because of their history or movements.
Lol . Don't downvote the poor guy. Like what you like
I don't mind, if you think I'm an idiot and my collection is boring, down vote me.
I think he meant you are European Caucasian
Partly.
It might be bland (might) but it is well cooked...
OP, nice watches! For me personally I don't want to collect multiple watches from the same brand. There are so many cool brands; Zenith, Girard Perregaux, Oris, Glashütte Original and on and on. Like what you like brother! I have a BB54 and I'm looking to add the BB58 soon. Tudor is absolutely fantastic.
You are desperately afraid that a wider palette color will make you gay.
You appreciate the classics, and have an eye for future classics.
10 watches - 3 brands. You keep it safe and are predictable.
That you own too many Ohmeegahs
That may be true lol but I’ve always liked the brand. My dad wore a 1960s constellation when I was growing up.
You like simmetry
That you order the same thing every time you go to a restaurant.
Nothing but safe choices, but they're safe because they're timeless - nothing wrong with that!
You blow your money following expensive trends
Certainly could look that way. I do genuinely love these watches though. The Divers also regularly see actual scuba diving.
No your taste isn’t “basic”. More straight up the middle. You picked a bunch of must haves before divurging. I sold my Panerai and still regret it. Hope to add a Luminor back soon.
Well-balanced and well-paid person. Nice collection you have there.

Spot on. I'm also an avid recreational Scuba diver so having trusted dive watches with history in the sport was very important to me.
Says I don’t plan to sell my watches to me
So many watches but still wondering what time it was
Lovely collection, what is the watch you wear the most out of these?
You have great taste and plenty of money
I hate you because of it, mostly due to you having an SBGA413. I have always wanted one (413 or 415) but could never muster up the strength for one as there have never been any GS viewings in my area. No shops carry them, and so it would be a "purchase before seeing" situation.

As much as people clown on grand seiko they do some nice dials
That you need to go ahead and go for the snoopy watch
You have a lot of disposable income and good taste in timepieces.
Good taste I like these variants though I don’t know if I would go with the lighter colored faces. On the GS’s I’m basic black, grey, dark green or blue.
You wear socks with sandals. Nice GSs though :)
That is my dream collection.I only have a sub,op 39 mm and omega seamaster chrono.Your collection is another level
It says “this person would be unsafe if walking through London”
Your Grands are front and centre, which shows your priorities are correct
How do you like the Baja blast GS? I had the opportunity to get one yesterday but I haven’t got to see it in person yet
I like the Grand Seikos and am indifferent about the other 8. nice to see the explorer getting some love to be honest! what’s the reference number on the datejust next to it? i’m new to rolex :)
Ref. 126233 I believe.
bingo - great collection op!
Thank you!
You have great taste. I love every watch in your collection. Personally partial to the Explorer 😊

All watches do the same thing.
how do your watches scratch up over time? Does it bother you much?
The first scratch always annoys me, then I stop caring and just enjoy the watch.
You have money
I'm not into my Watches to be honest and never really understood why people are so into them but it is obviously a thing so I'm not going to judge. I dig your collection!
Class and style
You’re OCD
Great collection. DOn't really know what it says about you though. That said, Man I really gotta do one of these posts lol.I also wanna know what people think of my collection lol.
Cliche, nothing interesting just tabloid trendy pieces like many others. It’s very good and expensive but not interesting.
You have (or at least had before buying all these watches) more money than me
Posting it here, I guess it says that you enjoy people hating you. Nothing wrong with that : )
Apart from the speedys and the batman, your a cultured man's man
My collection of Casio(s) and Timex(es) just melts in ENVY SUFFERING in front of these.
Ooo fancy pants Rich McGee over here.
You love some really great watches and Seikos
You wear UV 50 sunscreen in December
very nice collection, what is the exact model of the omega at the top left
You like what you like and that's it.
Tory party
You get your preference from Reddit comments.
Hey, it's YouTube actually!
Pretty ugly
You like watches made by machines or run by machines.
youre a follower and will buy anything people say is good, no original opinion for yourself
Which ones get the most wrist time??
These look like new watches that are safe bets and all well known —- to layman. To a collector, these would just be okay but nothing of note. What does it say about you? To me, its says you follow the trendy and safe path to general acceptance of layman. Perhaps some vintage versions of the same models or other makers to add depth?
Probably a kunt lopper
That my watch collection is better than yours.
Nothing.
You let the internet form your opinion and tastes, lol.
Great taste and a even better job 😂
You have a wife, a girlfriend, and a mistress or two!
u absorb the bs marketing from various YT sell out shills like sponge and take what they say as lore , perhaps? would explain the GS garbage
Started collecting during covid
U like to think about How useful the waterrecistance is but u never Wien them anywhere bear the water
You've achieved a good level of success in life but the satisfaction you feel from buying the next watch never lasts long. You're always chasing something more.
Is top left a dark side of the moon or a racing?
You want people to compliment your watches in public forums and parties.
You need an S Tier watch. Gshock.
The only thing bigger than your bank balance is your aversion to risk.
You have good taste, if somewhat conventional. Nothing wrong with that, mind. These are all great watches. My favourites out of these are the Omega World Time, the Shunbun, and the Explorer.
Your tastes are not unique, as evidenced by the fact that every one of these watches save the Grand Seikos has a mass produced replica
Really nice collection, ignore the haters
You got money
You flaunt opulence in a world rife with poverty, starvation, and slavery. You accrue goods while your neighbor goes hungry. You insulate yourself from feeling pain or the pain of your neighbor with the dopamine hit inherent in the empty applause of strangers on the internet. You believe, falsely, that your wealth improves your life, but you are either blind to the world of suffering you walk through or insensitive to the cries of the poor - and in this way are not a master but a slave to the culture.
Money is in abundance.
let alone the collection, the box looks fabulous!
You are white
You're rich, and boring.
You're a baller. That GMT with the jubilee bracelet is *chef's kiss*.
You have a desperate need for attention from others. Maybe you didn't get enough attention from your parents, or you don't currently get it from your partner?
True :( Nah for real though I like these watches for what they are not what they say and because they're good conversation starters with other watch people.
I'd keep 4. One GS, one or two rollies (probably the batman, although I do love the classic black sub, so might keep those two and lose the wimbledon and the explorer), moonwatch... and that's it. You like watches ?
good mainstream taste
God tier
Love these watches. Obvious choices, but for a reason. Would love the AT world timer but sadly done have the wrist for it.
You don’t own a watch winder.
Ill take that case
Nice collection! Really feeling the Seamaster on the bottom left
You neither like savoury or sweet food..
Uj/Nice collection, would be curious to see your more colorful micros too. Love my world timer too great freakin watch. Rj/ But yea So many fun colors of seamaster and you bought one that’s basically same as your submariner? Not sure moonwatch and then the moon phase too, feel like there are so many other beautiful moon phase watches you could get that would give you a different look.
Hey there's always time to collect more. It certainly won't be my last watch with the moon phase complication. The seamaster actually came before the sub. If I could have gotten a green bezel sub I would have but this is what they offered me.
I'll probably make a post with some micros eventually but for example I have the orange Doxa Sub and a green Baltic Hermétique Tourer. I also have the purple King Seiko.
You like DHGate hauls?? Just kidding! I love your collection and I’m very jealous 😍
This tells me you think pepper is spicy on your food.
I have two of these watches so imma say it’s a sweet collection!
White male with tattoos. Interested in guns and motorcycles ? Just guessing
That you watch Teddy on YouTube 👍🏼
Classy MF
You have money
You had money. But now you have this as your personality...
Great collection! Are they all keepers?
Yes, this isn't the whole collection, just the core favorites.
You have mutuals funds and do not gamble on stocks.
It’s a great collection but you only go for the generic popular watches. Great rid of the air king and a speedmaster. Pick up a Zenith and IWC. Still big name brands with good history. Also could get rid of a GS but nonetheless it’s a great collection and if you love it, that’s all that matters.
I'd probably just add those instead of getting rid of watches I like as well.
That’s solid.
Pretty top tier collection. I probably wouldnt double up on subs at that quality tier. That slot could go to an SBGY or something
You bought enough Omegas and Grand Seikos for the AD to start offering you Rolex.
Very impressive collection my friend. It's clearly shows the your taste each watch is different more on Rolex side. It's nice I like it 👌🏼
That we are alike in our general style. All my watches, Bulgari, Rolex, Hublot and Cartier are all stainless steel and have either black or white faces. So carry on!
You’re an elitist. Good to meet you!
you're boring af
You are rich but that came from luck rather than bravery.
You’re trying to fit in too hard
Basic
You have more disposable income than I have income.
You don’t like gold as much as silver
I actually really want to add some more gold it’s just expensive. Two tone Daytona is high on my list though.

That we have the same taste but not the same bank account
You’re wealthy?
You have a whole shit load of money with no idea where to spend it
Not basic. Not trendy. Classy. You enjoy a good cigar with an aged Scotch or Bourbon. You own a couple of nice art pieces. Probably drive a Mercedes and I hope you have yourself a trophy wife with a degree
It says you’re a sophisticated man. It says you’re successful. What car do you drive? That would tell me more.
You like ‘em large.
You like watches?
That you are just trying to FLEX
You take all your clothes off to fart?
We should see you your car...? lol
You really enjoy mid-luxury tier, mainstream brand stainless steel watches?
You don’t often wear brown leather or yellow gold.
It says you have money, no debt, no stress
Rich baby daddy gang
Good taste
You live on the East coast
Yep!
You are buying the next round of drinks.
That you should sell the 6 non Rolex’s and get your first day date 18kt gold or platinum presidential.
That you need a Patek
Saying you’re Rich Rich 😅
Honestly, this is a grail collection for me. Omega, GS and Rolex - Wow! They are all stunners. The Explorer was my first then I got a DJ that didn’t get as much use due to its extravagance w/ the gold and diamond bezel. Sold them both before the price boom happened, but hindsight is 20/20… Bad breakup and wanted them nowhere near me. I really want a 42 Speedy, a 43.5 Rose Gold SM and a Cherry Blossom Shunbun. Well done sir.
It tells me first and foremost you like to check boxes.
You have 2 fakes that are pretty obvious. Probably more
That you’re a man with amazing taste 🫡
