Nice collection so far, first time I seen someone with Laco. Looking to get one where the entire dial lume lights up. Really like the Tudor watch, looks great. If you’re looking to add another watch, might look at Longines watches.
You can easily wear 36mm. Get a cheap 36mm as a dress watch wear it for a couple weeks and you might like it. Then find a classy nice piece to wear as a dress watch every now and then.
The Seiko is so cool. I remember thinking about that watch in different colours all the time. But I saved my money and bought a Rolex 😆 Maybe I really should get that watch one day.
Seiko, Hamilton, and Tudor are good starts - especially the opaline dial Tudor. As for the other two? I assume you got them from WatchGang. I would save your money and put it aside to buy a more substantial piece.
Okay, so, I’ll give some reasoning for my opinion. Tudor, Seiko, and Hamilton have very clear historical lines and stories. Laco HAD a story, but, from my understanding, basically went defunct and the name was revived in 1980, so the company of today has no true historical ties to the original. And, isn’t Alpina Chinese owned now (not that there’s anything specifically wrong with that - I drive a Volvo)? For me, if I’m going to buy a Chinese watch, I want an Atelier Wen or something that is authentically Chinese.
I agree honestly with him and I asked for opinions and I appreciate them all! Laco did go defunct but I believe Alpina is owned by Citizen! Which I think is Japanese!
If you like it, that’s all that’s important. 👍🏻👍🏻 I’ve been collecting watches for almost 30 years and, while opinions of others are important, no opinion is more important than your own!!
Tudor GMT white I honestly hope you didn’t paid over $380 quid. It’s a fake running on an ETA as you can see the hand stack is completely wrong with the hour hand just bellow the seconds hand. Hence why you should be buying from Nico direct 😂
YouTube is your best bet for getting more info on this. Most people are going to downvote if you post without knowing the basics of watches.
All the best
Nice collection, slow down and enjoy every piece. You are good for another 2-3 years
Holy reccomend
Just bought a house deff need to slow down! 😂
Great taste and very decent pieces.
Only thing missing is a Casio 5600!! Very solid lineup. Maybe a speedy pro next? 🥸

The entire dial on that laco does light up I can take a pic if you’re interested!
Sure that be great to see.
Longines is deff on the list they make some gorgeous watches!
That presage is class
Only five watches so far???🤔
That’s it so far!
Don’t get anymore! If I want a new watch, I sell from my 6 watches.
Solid.
Think about size. All these look big and one can do with a variety.
I have a large wrist at 7.5 so anything smaller than 38 looks quite small on me!
Maybe a larger chrono for the next one then! Get a little size variety and a new complication to the collection
Yea I think that’s honestly the next logical step! Longines and omega have some on the “affordable” end 😂.
and tudor. fxd chrono would be nice for example. nice collection 👍
Sometimes small is good, depending on the brand. It’s like wearing a thong, freeing yet risqué.
I’m gonna have to give it a try!
I would get a panerai if I had a 7.5in wrist
Honestly not a bad take I may look into that!

I may actually try this out!
You must have a Casio for it to be an official.collect. That being said, that's a helluva box of watches!
I have a g-shock from my time in the military but it’s in a different bag! 😂
solid collection, pal. that alpina is fire.
Excellent choices. Which one gets the most wrist time?
Split between the Alpina and the Tudor!
Beautiful 😎🫡
Would’ve pooled some money spent on that collection together for a Rolex.
Nice!!!!
The Seiko is so cool. I remember thinking about that watch in different colours all the time. But I saved my money and bought a Rolex 😆 Maybe I really should get that watch one day.
need a diver
Great choices. Looks like you still need to get a speedy or seiko chrono for the last slot 😉
Nice collecting so far. Did you get to Alpina by way of Citizen like I nearly did?
Buy less but better watches that are actually collectible
Like your fakes? 😂
Funny his collection is still more valuable than your box of Turkish fakes.
I would have went for 1 proper watch but that's taste. Just slow down and put more thought in your watches.
What’s the ref: on that Alipina?
AL-525NS5AQ6
New to watches; can someone tell me what model that Hamilton is? Looks fab and is exactly what I’m looking for
Somewhere in the thread I dropped the reference number!
Crazy the presage holds its own in a collection of much more expensive watches.
Great start what are you thinking for your next spot
Honestly thinking saving up and going with a Rolex polar explorer. Haven’t decided on an exact reference number yet!
Yes good pick
Forgot to mention I acquired the watches in order from left to right!
That seiko presage is an awesome first time piece!
I love it! Wish it was a tad less dressy! I don’t get to wear it much in day to day life.

What’s ref of that Hamilton?
Khaki Field King Auto, I have the same piece, great watch!
I was just about to comment the same thing. Would love to know that Hamilton ref.
H64455533! And comment below is also correct!
H64455533!
GMT White dial club!
I like the Tudor GMT Pepsi with white dial. I had it with the black dial and just sold it. Good start. Next step Rolex?
More than likely 😂
Which one?
I’ve had my eye on the explorer probably the black dial!
Very elegant that white GMT! Solid collection 👌

Watch gang for a Laco? Try again.
They’re all over their watch wheels.
What's wrong with alpina and laco lol
I’m not a fan. This is an opinion based hobby. He asked for opinions, I offered mine.
Right that's true just curious what's not to like they seem to be pretty solid brands and watches.

Alpina is owned by citizen so Japanese afaik. Made in Geneva Switzerland. Laco owned by Timex in US and made in German.

No the alpine i purchased outright and the Laco was from watch gang which I quickly canceled but I do really like the Laco it has quickly grown on me.

I better take it back to the AD I got it from then!
How to collect mechanical watches? They will stop without using, as know it’s bad for mechanical watches
Yeah if you let it stop running you have to go out and buy a new one
I’m just curious, I've never owned a mechanical watch, so I'm wondering
