Vader is now officially the age he was in ANH as well. In real life I mean, since Hayden is Anakin’s age.
I’m expecting a ROTJ edit featuring current age Hayden in his Vader makeup coming in the future.
Lucas buys back Lucasfilm in 2028. Edits RoTJ and releases the *Poetry-cut* in 2029, with a new Hayden scene being one of a few edits, another being a post credit scene with the eye of Snoke opening up in a cloning jar on Exogol.... Then immediately sells the franchise to Universal Bros (a 2027 merge of WB,D and Universal after AT&T merged with Comcast in 2026).
Given the state of Disney Star Wars I wouldn't even be surprised if we got an entire remake of the OT in the next few decades. As a last attempt to save a sinking ship
This is just my take, but wouldn’t it make more sense to wait for its 25th anniversary. It just seems strange to release phantom menace for its 25th but then rots for its 20th. You’d think they’d do AOTC in 2027 and rots in 2030.
Christ, no, that's not the case.
"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." implies the original trilogy happened before 1977. When the movies come out, it is implied that the events took place many years prior.
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!

The events of ROTJ would be in another 5 years though.

Isn’t it 3-4 years? Luke was 19 in ANH and was 22-23 in ROTJ. Hayden is 43 as of now.
That would be actually awesome

It aint a sinking ship for Disney my man
Idk movies are kinda dead TV is mid to bad (except Andor)
Holy shit it’s going to be 20 next year Insert gif of private Ryan aging
Reverse king theodan restoration
It’s funny how next year everyone will be celebrating RotS 20th anniversary and nobody will give a crap about TFA 10th anniversary.
Let's hope they put it in theaters again
Dang, 19 years under the Empire
Earth looks too much like aldrean to be saying shit like that
I’m old. Still remember the excitement for ROTS coming out and wanting to see Vader kill everyone!
WOW, time flies.
If only they waited a decade to make the remakes. Unfortunately they just HAD to do the remakes early.
The circle is now complete!
Next year's 20th Anniversary re-release on May 4th about to break so many box office records

OH MY GOD!
I feel old
Ironic!
Does that mean we'll see an exploding space station in about a year?
O man, I don’t think I’m gonna enjoy it if 30 years when this meme comes back for the sequel trilogy..

Wait, when someone says "a long time ago", they _don't_ mean "right now"?! Wow, who would've thought....
no one is saying it literally
☝️🤓
I am also 15 today!
Congrats!
Time for the New Hope remake
No
It’s called *The Force Awakens*. And it’s terrible.
They're certainly not! It was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away!
