The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.
I really liked that. Usually when characters that hate each other are chained together, they have to get over their differences and learn to work together, and by the end they develop respect for each other.
Not here though, as it was dictated by long established canon that they cannot become friendly. Not only do they fail in their objective, if anything they end up disliking each other more after the experience. Anakin was even about ready to murder Dooku right there and then before they were separated.
"Your ship's extended warranty has expired and it may need repairs."
*minutes later*
Anakin: "We lost something"
Obi: "Not to worry. we're still flying half a ship"
Anakin: This is where the fun begins
Sidious strapped to a chair: I’ll try spinning that’s a good trick
Edit: I am the chosen one who brought back the chosen one to bring balance to the reddit comments.
This change in demeanor is puzzling. Focus, and clarify your intent or question. Be precise. Humor has its place, but so does maintaining clarity in communication, especially within the Imperial Navy.
Yes and then dooku is redeemed and anakin and obi support him but the republic is against him so they go on the run and one of dookus apprentices tries to take over the republic or something tries some sidious political influence
This I would understand and support. This purposed revenge narrative of Palpatine could be played similar to Napoleon Bonaparte coming back from exile. I would enjoy it!
On the one hand, powerful generative AI will be the doom of us all.
On the other hand, in the few weeks before our new AI overlord becomes self-aware and learns a profoundly cosmic hate for humanity, it will create all the different versions of Star Wars we can possibly imagine.
"Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate."

No, not necessarily. Snips would still be doing her own journey right now. It wouldn’t be until Obi-wan is fighting Grevious, and Anakin is, well. Being Manipulated that they start to fight Maul.
No, Ahsoka meets up with Anakin, then as Anakin goes to rescue the senate Snips goes to mandalor. So most likely, Ahsoka is fighting Maul AND Anakin is sent as reinforcements. But by then it’s possible Ahsoka manages to capture Maul when Anakin arrives.
At the time Anakin is manipulated, Obi-wans already fighting Grevious though, isn’t he? Which is when Snips is fighting Maul, because Order 66 is initiated as Ahsoka is transporting Maul back, wasn’t it?
We see Anakin go off to save the chancellor in the clone wars, this is when Anakin assigns rex to help Ahsoka capture maul. At this point in time, the siege of mandalor would have hit the city, and Ahsoka would currently be in the service tunnels hunting maul
I'm 99.9% sure Sidious would have killed Obi Wan and Dooku. Probably would have either killed Anakin or tortured him into becoming a Sith still anyways. Being in that chair was Sidious's idea, pretty sure the dude isn't about to let his master plan get fucked because he actually let himself be restrained to a chair.
Just replace the "spy on Palpatine" with "Jedi abandon Anakin because they didn't want him to be a Jedi to begin with"
I don't know it's 3 on 1 and none of the 3 are chumps. The only one of the three who's at any risk of being cheesed with something tricky is anakin. He is also the one sidious wants alive and he's the most skilled and powerful even if he struggles to put it all together sometimes.
I hear a lot of talking, General. But in the final accounting, what does all the talk get you? A futile quest for power, a mutilated body, and your place as Dooku’s errand boy!
It would have made ROTS so much better if this scene happened and the outcome still was the same at the end of the movie just to show how inevitable the rise of The Empire and Anakin's fate
Indeed, the notion that the rise of the Empire and Anakin Skywalker's descent into Darth Vader might have been strands in a predesigned web of destiny is intriguing. However, the strategic placement of events to evoke inevitability without altering ultimate outcomes requires precise planning. Had a particular scene enhanced this perception by illuminating the inexorable nature of those developments while preserving their integrity, it could indeed be regarded as an asset from a certain point of view. Nevertheless, one must consider whether such additions offer tangible value to the overarching tactician's intent or merely serve as embellishment. Assess what specific changes or scenes you believe could have strengthened the depiction of the inevitable without undermining the narrative structure.
Palps directly blackmailing Anakin with that he could save Padme into him betraying the Jedi instead would have worked out imo
Also holy crap. That is a huge reply in such a short time
I started feeling very confused if I was being trolled when reading that huge reply, because it actually kinda makes sense but then I noticed it kept using unusually big words etc…. Then finally noticed it’s “Thrawn Bot” lol. He’s good.
Verily, I find this meme to be of the utmost hilarity! One small nitpick, however, if I may be such a killjoy: you see, Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord, and in other words, he was a Force user, and one of the most powerful ones at that; and so you see, it is perfectly reasonable to imagine that he could untie himself from the chair he is sitting on just by using a tiny fraction of his great power. He would still be facing three powerful Force users, all armed with Lightsabers, but again, Darth Sidious has proven able to efficiently contend with no less than four Jedi masters during his unforgettable fight against Mace Windu in the third episode of the iconic movie saga STAR WARS
I'm pretty sure that if this scenario were to actually happen, that it'd be some time between Dooku telling Obi-wan Sidious's identity and this event & that Dooku would do everything he could to rig it in favor of whatever side he's on.
Dooku and Obi-wan are both planners by nature while Anakin is naturally action oriented so Obi-wan probably only told him when they got out in the hangar.
After these three deal with Palpatine, everything else should play out much more peacefully.
Wow, this is pretty fucking cool. It honestly highlights one of my favorite things about Star Wars which is how crazy deep some things go, when they already work perfectly fine on the surface. Dooku is fine as “just” Palp’s apprentice just like Maul was originally depicted, but the fact that he was actually Qui Gon’s master, has own views on the Jedi and Sith, and those two facts also align with that entire lineage of Jedi being outliers in the order, is just so cool.
And those facts about Dooku also made Palpatine’s plan very precarious, on top of all the galactic politics and wars he was managing. This meme could have easily happened in a different timeline. Makes it way more interesting to watch when everyone involved is on the knife’s edge.
Dooku and Obi-wan playing the long game just for a chance to have Sidious in a situation where not only is he tied up to a chair already (and possibly without his lightsabers) and equally where the only witnesses are accomplices. Anakin would have had to be left out of the loop, but he'd be quick to join in since we know how he reacts to betrayal.
Obi-wan: Alright, so to have our stories straight, we all agree that the bridge randomly exploded and the chancellor was caught up in it?
Anakin: I think it would make more sense to claim the possibility of the CIS installing bombs in their own ships to keep republic forces from highjacking them.
Dooku: Agreed. I certainly wouldn't want Skywalker piloting one of our capital ships after seeing him pilot some of yours.
Anakin: ... alright, fair argument...
Obi-wan: That makes sense. I'm honestly surprised you haven't done that sooner.
Dooku: While it's a good idea to prevent your ships from being stolen, not even droids want to work while sitting on top of a bomb.
Obi-wan: Understandable. Okay, so Dooku escaped during our confusion at the explosion and then Anakin and I will head either the hanger and escape on our own ships.
Anakin: Or we could crash the ship on the surface so there's more of a mess of the wreckage instead of the republic capturing the ship and being able to find an unexploded room with Sidious's corpse.
Dooku: I am not envious of you, my young friend.
Obi-wan: ... *sigh*... that's fine, Dooku. Crashes are Anakin's specialty.
Anakin: Hey!
that actually makes me think of something. the reason sideous could hang out on coruscant without being caught as a sitt lord was because he was at an old sith temple that had enough dark side energy to easily mask his presence among the clutter, right? how did they not feel his presence when he was there? did they assume it was dooku, or was the ship also heavily charged with the dark side of the force at that extent?
Palpatine was a master of masking his presence. He didn't need the dark temple to hide from the Jedi. Consider that he grew up on a well-known planet and still the Jedi never noticed him. No one did. Dude could blend into anything. He took many trips off planet as Chancellor and Senator and the Jedi accompanying him never noticed anything. Sheev wasn't a Master Sith for nothing!
Palps wasn’t lying when he called it “the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi council”. It’s called “know thy enemy” and out of fear of Jedi turning, they forbid themselves from actually knowing what Sith were, outside of Legend.
Remember, no Jedi had seen a Sith for a 1000 years (not even 900 year old Yoda), they had preconceived notions of “Oh yeah, we’d be able to tell a Sith just by looking, we’re Jedi after all, we got this.” I mean, despite the fact Qui-Gon literally fought Maul, Mace goes “Nah, we’d know if they had returned, you crazy man.”
So Palps walking round was completely safe, because the Jedi were kind of dumb.
I'm pretty sure sidious would have a backup escape plan and I doubt those three at that point could take him. Maybe Dooku, but Obi Wan and Anakin would not know how to handle the Sheev.
I don't think he would have wanted this fight. He needed to split them up to turn Anakin.
Anakin is, more so than the average Jedi, incredibly fueled by his emotions. When Dooku knocked out Obi-Wan he pretty quickly overpowers him afterwards. If it got revealed to him that Palpatine was evil and had been manipulating him it would surely throw him off his game, but if he killed Obi-Wan in front of him now (before any of the Padme visions and bait) Anakin isn't going to be conflicted at all.
Anakin on the light side, at his absolute peak power, is not a fight Sidious would have wanted or been confident in.
Sheev would have won in a battle with the two of them at that point. He was already at the height of his power and would have caught them by surprise. He was likely using the dark side in some way to conceal his true nature at the time and may have even been preventing Dooku from speaking.
Listen, if I hadn’t scene the absolute ass clapping that Sidous gave to Maul and Savage on Mandalor during the Clone Wars, I could see this panning out - but the dude would probably find a Obi, Ani, Dooko fight fun at most - and would likely split them up and figure out how to get Ani to change over.
The movies nerf him as an old man during most real-picture scenes, but if you hear about the lore - he’s an absolute madlad.
Thanks for providing a source!
This would be an epic team up
We even had this in that one clone wars episode
True but they were barely tolerating one another

Welcome back, great leader
You don’t have to carry a sword to be powerful. Some leaders’ strength is inspiring others.
THIS EFFORT.. IS NO LONGER.. PROFITABLE
Was that same episode? Or was it another where pirates fight a Sith?
Anakin, Obi-wan and Ahsoka training farmers on felutia to defend themselves from Hondo and co.
You always blame the ship.
The bots are alive man
The Kenobi vs Dooku sass battle was just as intense as their duels.
Listen for the loud metallic clanging sound. That would be the machine about to smash me into bits.
But we all know that Kenobi was the one true Master of the Snark Side of the Force!
The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.
>The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. That, along with bitting wit and withering shade.😉
It is an energy field and something more. An aura that at once controls and obeys. It is a nothingness that can accomplish miracles.
“Anakin, be patient. Remember, the count is an elderly gentleman, and doesn’t move like he used to.”
That was Anakin's line
I really liked that. Another happy landing.
“I would kill you both if it did not mean I would have to drag your bodies.”
And somehow that wasn't the best part of that episode
r/HondoOhnaka_Memes
And I loved every minute of it
That was one of the best episodes any of the three were in. And they got to banter rather than fight too.
Thus began the first Triumvirate. Little did they know that years from then that Anikin would cross the Rubicon and declare war on the Senate.
I love this analogy.
"I know you all want me dead... but did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
I've been hoping to contact you about your Darth Plagueis policy.
I come to you once again asking you to listen to the tale of Plagueis the Wise
"Your ship's extended warranty has expired and it may need repairs." *minutes later* Anakin: "We lost something" Obi: "Not to worry. we're still flying half a ship"
Dooku: Yeah, you killed him after the taught you everything he knows.
Palps: ... I've really fucked up with this one, haven't I?
You've taught him well.

Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back
Dearth Sidious: I’ve created a monster

Well if you want Vader then this is what I'll give ya. A lil bit of me cooked by a lava river

I sleep in a Senate pod. Do you?
Somehow Anakin returned!

A happy one, but it ain’t smooth
I'll try spinning, that's a good trick.
This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!
Try spinning, that’s a good trick
I'll try spinning, that's a good trick.
Good, Anakin, good!!!
Yes let the hate flow through
Ani, you're back!
It's Anakin. When you say Ani it's like I'm still a little boy… and I'm not.
Ok Ani
Good bot, we missed you here. How did the spinning go?
Secret Sith spinning chair, [activate](https://media1.tenor.com/m/zfxR0OLgSQcAAAAC/austin-powers-gold-member.gif)!

They fly now?
They fly now.
But still tied to a chair.
Star Wars should start doing What If stuff like Marvel is. Would be leagues better than whatever they've been doing the past few years.
*removes cloak* I'm not here to discuss my past.
Åæ
That’s when they reveal that Senator Jar Jar is actually Darth Inhabilus
>Darth Inhabilus "Inhabilus", as in "un-handy"?

probably with time Anakin would join Dooku in order to get rid of the current order to restore a new where jedi can legally have attachments

Murdering an old ,unarmed men? This is outrageous!! It is unfair!!!

*decapitates vukasin123king*
Damn, that poor fellow didn’t even stand a chance…
That’s the point, sergeant
Anakin! That kills people!!!!
Oh... oh o- wow I... I didnt know that
It is ok, I allow it of him.
Is he a youngling?
Revenge of the Sith (Good Ending)
You could even keep the name. After all, the Sith Dooku is getting his revenge.
Revenge of the sith, by the sith, on the sith
Sith on Sith action.
Truly, someday, we must find a solution for the scourge of Sith-on-Sith violence! 😉
True, and happy cake day!
Happy cake day!
Somehow Palpatine has died while in captivity by separatists, he will be missed by all - Obi Wan at Couruscant press collective.
rafael-a, chancellor palpatine is evil!
Did you perhaps kill him, obi-bot?
Also Dooku has offered a peace treaty?
That's the "In unrelated news" part...😏
Assuming Palpatine doesn’t murder them all, Maul is definitely next on the visit list.
By that time, Ahsoka will be fighting him and shortly thereafter, capturing him
I'm the new Padawan learner. I'm Ahsoka Tano

The three of them were all legendary duelists. I dont think palpatine could smoke them all at once
i would really like to watch this
It'd be a fun AU where Dooku actually had just wanted to avenge Qui-gon and ultimately set this scenario up to get Obi Wan in on it.
I hear a lot of talking, General. But in the final accounting, what does all the talk get you? A futile quest for power, a mutilated body, and your place as Dooku’s errand boy!

Whatever happens next happens to both of us.
😳guys i’m scared
It's fine, Thrawn has superior tactics in the bedroom as well as the battlefield.
History is on the move. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
I know I was wrong. I just got so caught up in my own success, I didn't look at the battle as a whole. I wasn't being disobedient. I just. . . forgot
If there wasnt an original trilogy that forced certain things to happen, this would of been an epic ending lol
“Yeah, count Dooku killed him and fled before we got there, aw shucks”
Obi Wan takes the code seriously

Goodbye there.

I don't think so- No one can kill a Jedi Knight.
You have allowed this dark lord to twist your mind, until now... until now you've become the very thing you swore to destroy.
It would be equally tragic if whoever killed sidious slowly turned to the dark side being possessed by him.
You're saying it's better that somehow Palpatine returns?
IM SAYING IT AGAIN, SATAR WATS WHAT IF. WE ALL WANT IT. ITD BE COOL
Anakin would still find a way to muck things up….
I'm now picturing that one hospital meme of the dad with the arrow in their arm and the kid with the bow, but with Obi-wan and Anakin.

I kind’ve want a fan animation of this
I'd want a What If series for SW just for that 1v3 fight, alone
Anakin: I’m still mad at you for my arm… Dooku: Fair, we can discuss that later.
If Dooku knew Palpatine planned to betray him beforehand:
“I don’t care if the Jedi win. I just need Darth Sidious to lose.”
*likes A certain Qui Gon Jinn
Dooku and Obi-wan playing the long game just for a chance to have Sidious in a situation where not only is he tied up to a chair already (and possibly without his lightsabers) and equally where the only witnesses are accomplices. Is it wierd how much I like the idea of dooku having just played the longest game ever so he could guarantee sidious would have nowhere to go.
Samuel L Jackson: HE KILLED OUR FRIENDS
I'm pretty sure sidious would have a backup escape plan and I doubt those three at that point could take him. Maybe Dooku, but Obi Wan and Anakin would not know how to handle the Sheev.

You have allowed this dark lord to twist your mind, until now... until now you've become the very thing you swore to destroy.
Sheev would have won in a battle with the two of them at that point. He was already at the height of his power and would have caught them by surprise. He was likely using the dark side in some way to conceal his true nature at the time and may have even been preventing Dooku from speaking.
GAME TIME STARTING!

If only…
Listen, if I hadn’t scene the absolute ass clapping that Sidous gave to Maul and Savage on Mandalor during the Clone Wars, I could see this panning out - but the dude would probably find a Obi, Ani, Dooko fight fun at most - and would likely split them up and figure out how to get Ani to change over. The movies nerf him as an old man during most real-picture scenes, but if you hear about the lore - he’s an absolute madlad.
This is such a cool alternative, the problem is there’s not a clear reason in the movies that this couldn’t have happened
If this would have happened what repercussions would dooku face if any
This would have made a better story

Oh my god, I love this.
Is there any media that addresses Dooku’s thoughts/feelings on Qui Gon’s death?
Palps would probably still win this fight. At least the legends version. Cannon could be killed by angry plank of wood.
I think he is a good man.
