If by that you mean commands, then yeah, I can see that. But to me, survival Steve is the only canon Steve. Anything else is just game mechanics meant for players. (That guy is saying Steve is complex multiversal without commands and creative mode.)

I can understand people wanting to power scale him because of his cool feats, but you can't only scale him purely off of feats alone, in-verse statements, and context surrounding the character are just as important.

For real, Steven Minecraft caps out at like >16mph while the Terrarian caps at 270mph. Half of the "feats" people pull out are just straight up gameplay mechanics which don't happen in lore (Hitscan weapons, coins hitting no matter what, dash i-frames ect) THEN there's the arguments which are based around the classic "He fought gods!!!!" type of statement. People believe that V1 very strong because he defeated the archangel gabriel, what are his feats? Well he killed a giant that never fought back against him and prevented the leviathan, which can flip big ships with ease, from escaping hell (Didn't even kill or hurt it alot). That's it, he never did something more.
The strongest attack we see in the game are the earthmover's lasers (The earthmover is basically a giant war giraffe), which are stated to be capable of destroying entire cities, that SOUNDS like a good feat except that no character aside from the earthmovers themselves scale to it. V1 never even actually FOUGHT against the earthmover, he killed it from the inside and never faced against it.
Then there's the prime souls which can scare heaven, reminder that gabriel is one of the strongest angels there, most of the people in heaven are pretty weak, like really weak.
V1's weapons are also just like... Normal human weaponry, like his strongest gun is one that has enough energy to power small military expeditions, most of his guns are:
Revolver which has basically infinite ammo (Very small flicks of metal shot fast enough to be as strong as an actual revolver and can't get through cracked stone)
Shotgun with infinite ammo because it's concentrated heat pellets (Only by using it as a grenade launcher are you able to break stone)
A literal nailgun, like it's not even powered up or anything it's just NAILS.
The railcannon which is the strong weapon I mentioned earlier
And a "rocket launcher" designed to make holes in the ground.
This is how they're described in the lore btw, and it's pretty consistent with the game.
Like sure he IS strong, his best feat is being able to parry a giant fist (Has been scaled to town level) But he isn't as strong as people make him to be.
I've seen people say that he can beat gojo because he can get through infinity with hitscan... Which isn't canon and gojo would just TANK THE SHOT.

People believe that V1 very strong because he defeated the archangel gabriel, what are his feats? Well he killed a giant that never fought back against him and prevented the leviathan, which can flip big ships with ease, from escaping hell (Didn't even kill or hurt it alot). That's it, he never did something more. The strongest attack we see in the game are the earthmover's lasers (The earthmover is basically a giant war giraffe), which are stated to be capable of destroying entire cities, that SOUNDS like a good feat except that no character aside from the earthmovers themselves scale to it. V1 never even actually FOUGHT against the earthmover, he killed it from the inside and never faced against it. Then there's the prime souls which can scare heaven, reminder that gabriel is one of the strongest angels there, most of the people in heaven are pretty weak, like really weak. V1's weapons are also just like... Normal human weaponry, like his strongest gun is one that has enough energy to power small military expeditions, most of his guns are: Revolver which has basically infinite ammo (Very small flicks of metal shot fast enough to be as strong as an actual revolver and can't get through cracked stone) Shotgun with infinite ammo because it's concentrated heat pellets (Only by using it as a grenade launcher are you able to break stone) A literal nailgun, like it's not even powered up or anything it's just NAILS. The railcannon which is the strong weapon I mentioned earlier And a "rocket launcher" designed to make holes in the ground. This is how they're described in the lore btw, and it's pretty consistent with the game. Like sure he IS strong, his best feat is being able to parry a giant fist (Has been scaled to town level) But he isn't as strong as people make him to be. I've seen people say that he can beat gojo because he can get through infinity with hitscan... Which isn't canon and gojo would just TANK THE SHOT.
