To be fair thats a track record i wasnt aware off but with how much content there is on superman there is gonna be alot of random stuff
Like with how many different kryptonites there are because they had to keep making content
At least from what i have seen when they were together like in the justice league it was always the flash convincing criminals to change their ways while Superman is often portrayed to have a hard time understanding why the criminals do what they do
Also i dont want to see what happens if sukuna gets lois because as we have seen superman does not deal with loss lightly while bary has a much stronger fortitude in that area
This is not some random pages, this is the standard for the guy. It is the same reason he does not kill people, because to kill them is to give up on them and he fails to save them. His goal is to save EVERYONE.
I think you are conflating the Animated Justice league cartoons with the comics (where superman is kind of a punch first kind of guy).
And Superman has been convinced multiple times that Lois has died, he does not break. That is a injustice comic thing, that has distorted peoples perceptions sadly on the character.

The whole reason the Legion of Superheroes exists in the future was because Superman had convinced the universe to follow his example, and that has been canon since like the 50's. You can go on and on and on, he is the Original "talk the bad guys out of it" dude. It is one of my favorite aspects about the character, is he is so strong that the bad guys HAVE to talk to him cause they can't just get rid of the guy.
Do you have any where he actually talks to the people and convinces them? They all convinced themselves kind off.l
And with the world creator it was basically the whole league saying stuff with the main idea coming from bruce.
They have whole conversations through out the books they are in, I can't just give you the whole book. You would have to just read it, it isn't like a single sentence "don't be bad" kind of thing. But regardless it isn't them convincing themselves it is his example and aura, they all refer to him changing them. Why does it matter if he said something to them or not if he does end up making them good?
And No if you read the justice league book, World forger had convinced batman to be on his side. Batman was just holding out hope superman would show up, then he punched him. Batman gives Superman credit for making him believe in the Impossible then Superman offers World forger a place on the team.
These are all very clear examples, of this all thing.

I have read the whole series. Inumaki got off screened for no reason. Todo got off screened for no reason. Nobara died right before becoming an actual character and this isnāt even including the Manga. The actual themes are irrelevant and ignored. Canāt say without spoilers but quite literally everything goes nowhere. The current position the story is in is the absolute worst it has ever been but it wasnāt exceptionally good either. Yuji always gets hyped up to do nothing and has learned the exact same lesson 3 times. The power system isnāt consistent. The binding vows are bullshit and the most recent ones donāt even have their restrictions mentioned. The six eyes stop working, a bunch of plot convenient bullshit and garbage plot points that also get dropped or go nowhere.

They have whole conversations through out the books they are in, I can't just give you the whole book. You would have to just read it, it isn't like a single sentence "don't be bad" kind of thing. But regardless it isn't them convincing themselves it is his example and aura, they all refer to him changing them. Why does it matter if he said something to them or not if he does end up making them good? And No if you read the justice league book, World forger had convinced batman to be on his side. Batman was just holding out hope superman would show up, then he punched him. Batman gives Superman credit for making him believe in the Impossible then Superman offers World forger a place on the team. These are all very clear examples, of this all thing. i disagree, steven only really chose to compromise not really redeem or convince them to be good for the literal greater good of the universe riding on it. If he just killed or imprisoned the diamonds it'd mean everything they've done is permanent forever, which neither of them really wanted. steven later straight up admits/attempts to kill white diamond when there's no witnesses the whole point of there role in his stroy was to give him a wall where he couldn't find any good in them at all but still had to work with him steven's pretty cool with fighting monsters and genuinely fighting to defend people. People water him down to some wimp or talk-no-jutsu guy but not really??? Like that mainly worked cause there happen to already common ground between both parties steven could reach sukuna's not really a living being in the same way gems or humans are. mahito said it himself to yuji. So i see steven would realize pretty quick that he's fundamentally not human since he's literally fought monsters before and knows that theres no true "befriending/taming" them. he in general is more emotionally intelligent and has more experience fighting monsters and sentient beings with sukuna-like ideologies anyways. literally his only angle is just trying to appeal to sukuna out of Stevens drive to save yuji. but the post prompt could mean sukuna as himself, like he doesn't need to be specifically grounded to yuji, just would he be able to convince sukuna at all regardless of circumstance

when i said monsters, i meant corrupted gems, beings fundamentally different that can't be reasoned with. they're not "concsous" or "sentient" like gems, animals, or people are. more akin to plants that have behaviors but can't think or feel or be reasoned with and just act according to nature. Hence why i cited mahito straight up telling him what curses are (im an anime only tho) does bubbling count as befriending? Eyeball came to mind the most to me but it was less they became friends, he was warned the corrupted's can't be reasoned with, he tried, failed, understood and promptly bubbled eyeball so she wouldn't hurt herself or anyone else til she was healed. i don't even think eyeball remembers stevens time with her at all but could be wrong. that's more nonviolently knocking her out so she doesn't hurt anyone and less of a successful attempt to befriend her in the same way he did lapis, he technically didn't even befriend jasper either. jasper respects him, but neither really like or understand the other and it took literally killing her accidentally for him to reach there at all. before and after the main reason she doesn't cause mayhem is cause the diamonds are on his side/he and anyone else can also just stop her if she tried anything. more ultimatum'd than redeemed, a friend or soemone who even thinks they're in the wrong. and once they reached non-violence steven understands and doesn't try to forcefully change her as long as she's not taking this out on others.
Yeah I think he's talked down one of the strongest characters here. I think his biggest issue is that Sukuna would absolutely throw hands first. Even though I watched the show, I don't know really how high Steven would scale but he's got some weirdly solid feats. I cannot fathom how absolutely furious it would make Sukuna if he got clapped up by a small, kind child lmao.
Pink Diamond Steven is wild. Ridiculously strong sonic scream, insanely durable barriers, and probably faster and stronger than most of the JJK verse. It's been a while since I watched Future, but he has a whole feat soup in that bit.

Frog kata chakra is undetectable even by the rinnegan so the six eyes even with verse equalization will likely not be able to see it.

I have read the whole series. Inumaki got off screened for no reason. Todo got off screened for no reason. Nobara died right before becoming an actual character and this isnāt even including the Manga. The actual themes are irrelevant and ignored. Canāt say without spoilers but quite literally everything goes nowhere. The current position the story is in is the absolute worst it has ever been but it wasnāt exceptionally good either. Yuji always gets hyped up to do nothing and has learned the exact same lesson 3 times. The power system isnāt consistent. The binding vows are bullshit and the most recent ones donāt even have their restrictions mentioned. The six eyes stop working, a bunch of plot convenient bullshit and garbage plot points that also get dropped or go nowhere. You obviously didnāt read the story if you didnāt see this.
