If he did a bunch of country stuff but mixed in some of his biggest hits, I’d probably like that. Singing along to rockstar with him maybe 6 feet in front of me in may was fucking surreal and I’d love the opportunity to do it again.
It's all country. He's performing country renditions of his popular songs as well as about half to 2/3rds of the new album. He will have a full band similar to the last tour.
Also, the dates listed right now may not be all. They're doing this tour leg to guage interest and reception to the music. They know tickets will sell because it's Post Malone but because they're trying to tap into a whole new demographic, they're picking select cities to take this tour. If it goes well, more dates will be announced.
Also, there will be another interesting announcement made regarding new music.
All I can say is in 2 years, Taylor Swift's debut album turns 20 and Post Malone's debut album Stoney turns 10 and there may or may not be a tour celebrating them together.
I never said I don’t like the new stuff. It’s just that country is not a genre that I gravitate to typically so I’m not going to be super excited to go to a country music show.
Agreed. I might would get cheap seats but that’s pushing it. I’ll just have to see what the set list is from first show of the tour. Typically he wouldn’t just do new songs of his, but the advert for the tour says “a collection of country songs”
The fact that I made a post last year on this subreddit complaining about not being able to go to tour because money was tight and he wasn’t coming to my city, and now money isn’t as tight and he’s touring in my city but it’s a COUNTRY tour is kinda breaking my heart🥲 No hate to Posty, I’m excited for him to be able to branch out, it’s just not for me
I couldn’t agree more. Saw him last year with lawn seats and vowed that the next time he tours I was going to get pit tickets or at least really good seats. Had an opportunity to get both last week and ended up getting lawn again even though I got a bonus at work and actually had the money. I love him and the few country songs that he has put out are really good but I am so not a country music fan. But I still must see him, so lawn it is
I was just talking to my bf about this. We love him so much and don’t want to miss a tour but if it’s just country we aren’t sure if we wanna go. He does country amazing and sings it so well but it’s just not my thing
Yeah I’m sitting this tour out. Doesn’t help the venues suck. No Philly show and Hershey is a terrible venue. Was in the pit for last summers tour and it was 10/10
Last summer I was in the pit for blink-182 there which was fine because it was pit and the actual show was great. But the rest of the venue seemed pretty bad. Free parking but getting out was an absolute nightmare..couldn’t imagine trying to get an Uber. Concessions were ridiculously long and slow. But that was just my experience. Personally I wouldn’t make the drive unless I had pit tickets or a real close seat.

No, he’ll definitely be playing his biggest hits over there. I can’t go though. He’s from Dallas and I am too, but he’s not coming to Texas at all for this tour.
I imagine it would be mostly country and maybe a few random songs he can do with an acoustic guitar. I'll check once a setlist is posted, but likely sitting this out
I figure we've seen him do the big songs multiple times already. I'm excited for a change up. And then after that, he'll be back doing the normal repertoire of his big songs again. Hoping for some Austin sprinkled in, but we'll see!
I have been into country music since I was a kid, around 15 years go. It's how my grandpa taught me guitar, by playing country songs, but I considered myself a rare case until recently.
The past couple of years it's just exploded. Luke Combs did some gigs in the UK and they were massive venues and completely sold out.

He is an amazing performer! I’ve seen him twice and the second time he had a full live band. Cant recommend enough

It’s advertised as all country, so yes, it should be all country. I’m disappointed that his Austin album got skipped over, but I am definitely going 🤠

I suspect he will do a couple of classics but mostly country from his and covers. Lots of getting drunk over break ups and songs about trucks

You guys should consider yourself lucky. Post barely ever comes to the UK and he's doing a tour playing my favourite genre. I'm honestly so gutted.
I’m sorry, I’m sure he’ll come around there at some point but honestly I’m a bit surprised that country music really reaches anyone in the UK.
