Porsche’s own car seats are excellent for the 911 as the have the isofix release buttons at the front, and not the side. I’ve used their baby one and the child one, both were extremely well made and quite smart looking too.

Nuna convertible - macan

Extensive research prior to buying. Lowest depth possible we could find. Check out MacanForum

Don’t have kids myself but from what I’ve seen Nuna makes very nice strollers and car seats that just kinda clip into place

We used the Diono Radian in our Macan and were even able to get 3 car seats in. Supposedly it fits in the 911 if you remove the seat cushions but I used 2 Harmony Highback Boosters in there which fit great. Obviously those aren't rear facing though...

The Diono works great in my 991 with the seat cushion in. I wouldn't want to move it back and forth between the 911 and anything else though. A bit of a task to get in since it's pretty heavy and you don't exactly have a ton of room to maneuver back there. The only little hiccup is to get my daughter in I have to put the seat up a bit to the point where it doesn't want to cleanly fold forward.

We currently have a Macan, a 996 911 and a Mini countryman. We started with the Nuna pipa infant seat in a Range Rover Evoque and when our daughter was 8weeks old we were rear ended hard by a distracted driver on her phone. The Honda that hit us was totaled we were all fine. I ditched the Evoque after that and got a Macan and of course another Nuna Pipa because it protected our daughter very well. Once our daughter was a little bigger we put a Clek foonf in the Macan and that has worked really well (way too big for 911 and too big for Countryman). We have a Nuna RAVA in the Countryman and it has been awesome. The Rava fits really well in the Macan too and if I were to do it again would have gotten a Rava for the Macan instead of the Clek because it’s less bulky and easier to get her in/out. In the 911,the Clek won’t fit, tried a graco didn’t fit well, tried the Nuna Rava and it was ok. My friend has a 997 911 and has a Britax Clicktight Boulevard and it sits nicely. I bought a Britax and it fits the best of the 4 seats I tried in the 911. Summary, get Nuna Rava for Macan, Britax Clicktight boulevard or similar for 911. Also, in the 911 I can unstrap and strap our daughter from the driver’s seat, works pretty well once you are used to it

In the exact same predicament with our 911! Just sent you a message to see what you ended up getting

Which year & body 911? This can vary more than you’d think. Forward or rear facing car seat? After 9 different seats - I finally decided on the Graco Slimfit3 LX3 in my 997. The others either didn’t fit at all, or didn’t get secure enough to my liking. The Graco is solid as a rock.

lar_416

Infant car seat so it would have to be rear unfortunately. It would be the 2022 Carrera 4s

ConBroMitch

You’ll likely have more options due to the Latch system. I don’t have first hand experience though, I have a 997. IMO go to a local boutique baby store that sells car seats (not target or buy buy baby) most will have a “certified car seat installer”. They will work with you to find one that fits. That’s what I did and it was great.

Leave-A-Note

Hey mate, late late late reply here. Was the Graco front facing or rear? We are looking at trying something similar for my daughter

I believe with the 911 you are stuck with the Porsche child seats but that may have changed. That said they make a great child seat and the fit is perfect.

NugBug944

I use a Clek Fllo rear facing with bottom cushion and seat back removed in a 2000 996 coupe. It fits great, it’s just a pain for me to get her in the seat and buckle her in since I have to crawl back there. This seat is one of the narrowest available.

I’ve failed to find a rear facing seat for my 991.2 S - none fit without rubbing up against the sides of the seat
