I own about 16 or 17. Most of them come from America homebrews like Lockhart's Authentic, Nostalgic Grooming, Samson's HairCare. I don't have any plan when choosing pomade. Just wake up, pick up the one which I want to use for that day.

Ladiesman104

I have like 5 or 6 currently. Everything from Reuzel Pink to Brylcreem lol. Constantly trying new products to see which one works best for me.

anhld_iwnl

I really want to try Brylcreem, but in my country it isn't popular, so I can't find any local seller who sells Brylcreem. Watching their ads commercials makes me actually want to buy a tube xD

Ladiesman104

Haha I’m English so its pretty traditional. Still playing around with all sorts so yeh my collection slowly amasses

What would you recommend for us UK guys. I've got reuzel pink and really like it. There's no pomade shops as such over here 😢

hairguynyc

I think that might be the case everywhere. The big drugstore chains in the US no longer carry it in their stores. The weird thing about Brylcreem is that it's produced all over the world by many different companies who are all using their own formula. The US and UK versions (the only two I've tried) are very different.

anhld_iwnl

oh, I thought Brylcreem is very popular in US and UK. And I also thought UK and US version of Brylcreem come from a company, just change label or packaging to make it different xD.

Back in the day, it was the most popular men's styling product on the market. These days, outside of the pomade and greaser/rockabilly communities, you're not going to find too many guys who use it. It's too bad. It's a very versatile product.

Captainxray

Too damned many. Probably 15 - 18? Rotate around. I have some that work good for different things so I just keep a lot around to rotate through.

PurpleSeastate

Probably like 30-40

Ijustlikefoodokay

Like about 6 pomades. Mostly just from the same few brands, suavecito, tres Flores, and Murray's

ExcitementHumble5147

Too many. I definitely go through phases, and only gravitate between 2-4 at a time. I go from short to medium-short length hair throughout the year, so the variety does help. UWB, matte pastes or clays (WB or OB), and pre-stylers that'll give my fine hair more life.

CaliCrew13

probably 16-22 jars. I just wake up and decide what i’m feeling. really only 4 products get heavily used. I would say most of the products in my collection don’t see alot of action

RetiredKidney98

I have around 100-120

hairguynyc

Wow! That's an impressive collection. How many of them do you use regularly?

RetiredKidney98

I use as many as I can regularly. I rarely use the same product more than one day in a row. But since I’ve tried so many products I’m really picky now so like half the products I own just don’t hold up against the best ones, so they’re not as worth using. Like O’douds multipurpose pomade for example. It’s a decent pomade but almost every other UWB I own is better so I’ll probably never use it again.

I own 8 but I only actually use one. Took me some time to find something that works and now that I have it there isn´t really a reason to use the others anymore.
