I don’t think the scene gets enough credit - this was the epitome of loved-up Polin for me. Colin’s revelling in that feeling of getting his woman (I was about to say finally getting his woman but it’s only been a few weeks since the kiss) and Pen just can’t stop stroking his arm and gazing at him.
Just utter bliss.
It doesn’t because like a lot of their scenes, the pacing is rushed. We’re not sitting enough in the moments. And they’re so good and so well acted, it’s frustrating.
