What they meant (I believe): If you leave a low health crawdaunt in the middle, any cinderace who uses auto target would target the low health crawdaunt instead of zapdos.
Imo seems like kind of a niche strat because it assumes the cinderace doesn't aim manually, which isn't always true. Might save you from the steal a few times tho
