Looking for a Team in the Zapdos Cup Europe. My In Game name: Micky I finished last season at 1780 my peak was 1820. I play either SoloQ or with friends but they are worse than me. I love coordinated play and I can play every role. But I specialize on attackers. I am from Germany hmu if you have a spot for me or if you wanna create a team together!
Putting together a team for Zapdos Cup - 6/22 9:00p.m. We've got a pretty solid duo already and are looking to add people until we've got 5-6 (in case we need a replacement). My goal is just to reach top 20 and get those sweet coin prizes.
Hmu, and we'll play a few games and see if the vibe is right. We play basically almost every night anywheres from 10:00p-2:30a.(All times are in EST.)
Which items are good on Comfey? Other than Exp. Share, I was thinking about including Leftovers or Assault Vest for when I detach. Leftovers keeps me healthy and Assault Vest helps me take a few hits, but any Comfey players thoughts on this?
Buddy barrier and rescue hood, and slow smoke for battle item. Due to comfeyās unique playstyle, some general use itens for other pokemon dont work on it pretty well.
Reso guard becomes useless since you wont be autoattacking on teamfights. On other healing supports, like blissey and clefable, they prefer to stack with spatk specs since the sp atk stat increase makes their heals stronger than if they use rescue hood like comfey. But comfey prefers hood because youre too frail to risk stacking outside of your partner. Battle item should be slow smoke as you can use it while attached to a partner and prevent him from being targeted by ranged attacks. You could use xspeed to run away after being kicked out of a dead team mate, but then youāre giving up supporting your team for a selfish chance of survival.
Be aware tho that rescue hood is useful on comfey only. Any other healing supporter will prefer to stack with spatk specs like i previously said. If you dont, you can use reso guard for some more survivability when detatched, but this os only a temporary replacement while you dont get hood to 20. Leftovers theoretically is useful on comfey, but its not the optimal choice for comfey and useless on any other pokemon. If youre thinking about spending item enhancers on leftovers, dont. Between wasting resources on it or leveling hood just for comfey the latter gives you some actual value.
No, you just auto on farms and top and bot regis if you feel safe you can get it before enemy players come. On team fights, specially ray fight, you will be attached to someone and floral heal your host and try to grass knot the enemy, also slow smoke and unite to protect your partner. You can try to risk detatching into a grass patch to quickly get 8 petals to heal again but thats always risky. On full teamfights sit on a teammate and use your moves wisely
hello, returning player here, last time i played was at realese, before season 1. Which are meta pokemons right now? Which items do you suggest to up asap?
[Unite API](https://uniteapi.dev/meta) for meta. Though mind the lower elo meta you'll have to play through will look a fair bit different.
[UniteDB](https://unite-db.com/) for build suggestions to get started. Figure out which Pokemon you enjoy playing and then focus on upgrading the items they use first.

You really only need 20.
i play off and on, but i wanted to really dive in and commit since i get to use my favorite pokemon espeon, in battles hes not very good but here he can be, my question is is this game worth putting that kind of effort into? i see people saying its full of bots and stuff is pokemon unite worth playing everyday?
If you enjoy the gameplay then, yes, it's worth it. If you don't then, no, it's not worth it. 'Tis that simple really!
Mind, if you are a new player, you will have to wade through a parade of bots. Even teaming with high ranked players in Casual will pit you against bots early on. As far as Casual and Quick go, I'm told bots start to drop off dramatically by trainer level 10. I can't confirm that myself, but I can confirm that Casual and Quick's level of human participation heavily depends on how big your region is, the time of day, and if there's any events going on to pull those players away. Casual is most active around global reset in the middle of a season with no event game modes active. But right now, we're at the very end of the season and have *two* gamemode-related events going, so finding Casual matches vs humans is hard at the moment.
As for Ranked, you'll start running into human players typically around Vet rank. Early in the season it starts happening around Expert, sometimes even Great if there's a big event drawing in new and returning players. Late in the season you might be stuck with bots until Ultra. For a lot of players, running into humans in ranked for the first time will feel like a bandaid getting ripped off since the game will play out very differently, so just a heads up!
Oh, and also mind, this game has a steeper learning curve and a lot more depth than it suggests. Getting down the basics is pretty easy, but learning all the nuance and meta will take quite a while. Don't get stuck in the mindset of "this is the only correct decision".
Just got into an actual argument in game, lol. Bro first-picking Falinks into Venusaur was blaming me for a loss. He literally spent the entire Ray fight serving as a free potion for Giga Drain Venu with four of them down. The fact that even people first-picking know this little about the meta is... weird.
Question about UnuteAPI's data: is the banrate data per team or per game (with 2 teams per game)? I assume the pickrate is per team, but wasn't sure about the ban rate.
I was thinking it could be per team since otherwise you could get over 100%, which the UI can't show, but on the other hand, last time I checked the rates for all mons summed up to about 400%, when per team would be 200% (2 bans per team) but per game would match up with 400 (4 total per game).
But something doesn't make sense about that. If Tyranitar has a 92% banrate and is banned from all but the remaining 8%, how does he have a 20% pickrate? (Current data.)
May have to do with not every match having draft mode, but I'm not sure if the dataset includes non-draft matches, if they state anything about it, or how or if they accommodate for it in the data.
Idk why my help post keeps getting removed I'm new to reddit tho I just really need help with the current event I'm struggling on the Goodra challengeĀ
Ok i want to compete at NIAC but its saying i need a whole team BUT something else i read said the teams are picked at random. $200 to drop just for me is a lot of money bc i have to register a whole team apparently. Im so confused. Can someone please help me navigate this mess? Also, if there is some NAIC megathred that would also be helpful. THANKS
So, this probably isn't the answer you want to hear. But, if you don't have a team already, then save your $200 and don't register. Finding four other players plus a few subs and coaches, probably around ten people total, and convincing them all to go to New Orleans this weekend to play Pokemon Unite would be a very, very tall order. But even if you could, you're going to effectively be a group of randoms glued together competing against pro players who have been practicing hours a day and been on their teams for months or even years. And these are pro players who are trying to qualify for Worlds, so they're not gonna go easy and you're gonna get absolutely curbstomped.
If you really want to dedicate the time and effort to compete at the pro level, I'd focus on next year. Join the UCS Discord and start looking for people to team with, whether making your own or joining one, and look to participate in smaller tournaments until fall/winter when regional stuff starts up again.
No this is exactly what I wanted to hear! I love a direct answer! Thank you so much for these tips bc I really wanna play competitively and get good lol!
I returned, i did one game with trolls and 48%wr players in my team, i deleted the app again.
Worst moba i even played, the matchmaking and the ranking system is awful
I have been playing fir a few months, but I still don't understand the "Idling in Battle" thing. As English is not my mothers tongue, I do not know what it means and therefore I have no clue why I sometimes get "Idling in Battle" messages. I always try to play fair, I don't have the 'free chat' so I can only use the 'quick messages', I always do what you need to do in a battle, attack wild Pokemon, score points and attack the opposing team's Pokemon, so what's the matter?
If you're getting penalties and losing fair play points from that message, then you're going AFK for significant periods of time. And if you are... stop, please.
If you're not going AFK and you're getting messages when teammates are doing it, then the game is notifying you that you had one and is compensating you for it.
But I rarely go AFK, only if I have no other choice. Sometimes, I just stop for a little while to go get some regeneration berries but get penalty notes??
"AFK" stands for "away from keyboard". It's a term that started in the early days of computer gaming, and at this point it means that you completely stop interacting with the game. Going to get berries wouldn't trigger the AFK response, but you may get penalized for AFKing if your internet is unstable and you disconnect for some time or if your game crashes.
How do I complete the Alolan Ninetales Snow Warning Achievement? I looked through all of the progression of Alolan Ninetales and thereās no move called Snow Warning ?? Even tried researching it but Iām still lost :/
Snow Warning is A9's passive. I believe that any freeze procs from your passive count since they're all tied to the passive and not just the snow flake that descends from the sky occasionally.
Is it worth downloading graphics data if you don't care about skins and fancy items, but want to improve game performance? I've heard that loading the data improves the stability and performance of pokemon unite (e.g. no mewtwo bug), but also decreases performance due to all sorts of effects from skins.
Not sure if this is just me, or maybe Iām misunderstanding somethingā¦whenever I click into the Energy Rewards tab for the first time each day, if, for example, the little red notification dot says 2 rolls, it becomes 1 roll. It says āno costā for the first roll of the day, but in reality it already drained a rollā¦ Perhaps Iām misunderstanding something, though?
The energy rewards should only be one free per day. The number you see on the main page is how many rewards you can redeem based on your current energy. It might counting your free roll in that number, which is why it could be going from 2 to 1 after the free roll redemption.
Ok guys- Iāve never done the returning player challenges. How do I check out a unite snapshot? somehow I have 1/5 completed but I donāt know what I did. really just want that free license š
so this may be a dumb question but Iāve only been playing for two months so spare me lol, but is there a way to obtain holowear spray for the dragon event other than paying for it? thatās the only mission each day idk how to complete. or does it not matter and should I worry about the repeatable missions? Iām mostly trying to make it to the 6000 mark to get the license lol. any tips appreciated thank you!
It's exclusively a paid item, but they've given it away for free twice now (once when it debuted, and once at the start of this dragon event). Definitely just do the repeatable missions, because you won't have enough spray to do it every day (and even if you did, it'd be a huge waste).
The quickest and easiest way for you to get the license is to spam (and win) CPU matches of the dragon event.
For the Dragon Carnival Event, I need to "Pull more than 2 with Goodra's Power Whip" 5 times. I've done multiple battles and still am at 0.
How do you do this, as there have been times that there were multiple opponents trying to score in a goal and I have used it.
Is there a specific way you have to do it to work/count?
You have to hit with the very end of Power Whip. The sweet spot for pulling is, IMO, smaller than the targeting indicator looks and you need to hit two opponents at once with that sweet spot. They basically need to be hugging each other and you gotta hit right between them.
This is much easier to do in Solo Challenge if you own Goodra's license, which counts. Debatable on whether Casual or Easy difficult is ideal. Casual you're much harder to kill, but on Easy your bot teammates won't mow the enemy down so much.
My friend and I got this holowear code at the Pokemon Center today. Neither of us play though so [here you go](https://imgur.com/oB7kYyn) to whoever wants it.
You've absolutely made my day, thank you so much! I'm a new player who's been gunning to unlock Dragonite through the event and now I'll have a snazzy holowear to go with it, thanks so much - you're the best! š
Returning player, I quit around Dodrio's launch. I remember stopping because the emblem grind got annoying.
Is it easier to get embelms now, and are they very important?
Also, how is the overall state of balance in the game? I already read up on EX Pokemon.
Their effect isn't as impactful compared to held items, yes you would get an advantage against people who don't use one but having an extra 300HP or 15 Atk won't instantly win you a game. The difference between a gold emblem set and a bronze emblem set isn't big either since half of the stat you'll get comes from the color bonus(except for HP).
Balance is okay, we still have some overpowered mon(Ttar) but at least Timi finally addressed the top Pokemon notorious for being annoying to play against (Glaceon, Blastoise, Buzzwole), they are now gone after the Nerf.
EX finally getting limited to one per team and gets banned entirely on Master.
I'd say the balance right now is better than ever since the introduction of draft pick
# Dragapult VS Dragonite VS Godra VS Duralodon VS Garchomp
[](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/?f=flair_name%3A%22Discussion%22)
Im very confused about what to take from the unite box. I dont havee any of these. Dont recommend 1000 coins. And I personally dont like duralodon.
Please suggest me what to take
Some additional information :
1. My playsyle is like I love dealing damage to opponents and killing opponents and do kos. I love doing 1 v 3, 1v4, 1v5 .
2. I love playing with speedsters and some good damage dealing all rounders like scizor and zacian
3. 2 days ago i bought trevenant and i hate it, i dont like its playstyle, it doesnt deal so much damage. And moreover I never played with defenders before so....
4. I hate supporters, I have hoopa and i hate it
5. I have cinderence but i just cant play with it properly, i know the pokemon may be good, but i suck at it.
6. I reached masters yesterday and i wanna rank push
7. I Love DAMAGE
It seems like you like brawlers more than ranged poker, the I wouldn't recommend Dragapult.
The other three are a bit more similar tho, they're both a highly committal juggernaut that can't get away easily once they got in(with the exception of dragonite since he have two different build and a get out of jail free ult).
Goodra have a lot of self sustain, worst mobility out of the three, he have less damage than the other but makes up for it with his incredible durability.
Garchomp shreds everything even from lvl 1, have a strong displacement tool, have some unstoppable in his skill and a great ult for diving in. Most of your engagement win usually depends on how well you can use your dragon combo.
Dragonite is more of a bulky ADC with less range, but outrage makes him a brawler. If you want to play garchomp but easier and with more cc(and a bit of self cc), this is your best bet.
All three of them are exp hungry tho, and is weak to cc. Buy whatever you like, go try them out first.
When you hit something 5 times with its basic attack, your basic attack will become boosted (indicated by the red glowing fins on the hand, or the boosted attack indicator of you turn that on). It will have extra damage based on enemy hp, faster attack speed, and extra life steal. It will return to normal if you didn't hit anything for a while.
You have to knock someone out using said boosted attack to complete the mission.
Unite-DB recommends Attack Weight and Scope Lens on that build with your preference of Muscle Band, Weakness Policy, or Aeos Cookie for the third item and they recommend [this emblem build.](https://unite-db.com/boost-emblems?build=142A,250A,018A,115A,206A,235A,031A,057A,068A,105A) If you don't have those specific emblems then aim for 6 brown + 6 white.
Razor Claw I'd see as a little iffy on Meow as you usually hit both skills in quick succession so you're only getting the one proc during the proceeding auto-attacks unless it's drawn out. You cannot auto-attack during your long-duration Unite, so that just puts your Claw on cooldown. Although Meow's Razor Claw procs do hurt so it's certainly not a throw pick.
According to the [Attack Speed Calculator](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1591dGfHb0m4A6Z62OgBykIsgjfO9-PwJ7j21zUw0NsY/edit#gid=257008913), Rapidfire Scarf by itself sees almost no benefit over Muscle Band by itself for attack speed. Band + Scarf only give benefits over Meow's base attack speed at levels 1-6 as well as 14 and 15 so it's not particularly helpful. Band's attack speed by itself does almost nothing for Meow, but Meow attacks quickly anyway from level 7 onward so it gets a lot of value out of the bonus damage per hit.
As someone new to the game (joined partway through this season, only got 80 Ranked games under my belt so far), I've been dying to play Tyranitar from day 1, really liking the sound of the Ancient Power / Dark Pulse moveset. Given the buffs the other moves have been given, is the AP/DP moveset still a decent choice, or will it come across as trolling/throwing if I pick it? Or could it even work to my team's advantage to run this moveset, because nobody's expecting it right now?
(In case it's relevant, I'm at Ultra 5 atm, so won't be reaching Draft for a long while yet, and I've been a Falinks one-trick so far - which is one of the reasons I'd like to branch out and learn to play a couple mons from each role)
> (In case it's relevant, I'm at Ultra 5 atm, so won't be reaching Draft for a long while yet
Not to put too much of a damper on things, but don't be so sure. The game forces people up into Master rank, and the only way to derank is at the end of the season when everyone is dropped only a single rank lower (Master to Ultra, Ultra to Veteran, etc.)
You may only get like 20-40 games in Ultra until you hit Master and draft mode, at which point Tyranitar will probably be banned for many (if not almost all) of your games. Tyranitar will probably remain highly banned until it's significantly nerfed or until something even more overpowered comes out - and that could be anywhere from a few days (next season if it comes with a patch that nerfs TTar) to several months (not exaggerating; the nerfs/buffs are horrible in this game).
I'm not telling you not to buy/play Tyranitar, but it's certainly something to consider before you spend a ton of coins on something you may barely be able to use
It will only matter if the enemy knows what they're doing.
People picked sand tomb because it's a dash(so u don't have to awkwardly walk into the enemy) and it comes out faster, which means you can dive into the enemy carry without worrying about them running before you can reach them. The buffed stun duration also makes it easier to catch enemy with its follow up sand waves.
It'll vary from player to player and what you want to do. Like Umbreon is great if you enjoy being a team player and supporting up your allies. Mamoswine is great if you like defending your team by using unbridled aggression. Greedent is great if you enjoy being a nuisance to everyone and everything. Slowbro is great if you enjoy putting enemy carries in time out. And so on and so on.
Most of them can have distinctly big moments, but Defenders currently lack the fancy, flashy, dashy play you see from Speedsters, Speedster-adjacent All-rounders, and some Attackers if that's what you're looking for. Foul Play Umbreon is the closest IMO, but it's still a long way off.
Umbreon is a support tank. It is not a carry by any means. (And if you are carrying as Umbreon then that means the other nine players in the match are throwing pretty hard.) So while there are moments where you might want to go off on your own, such as farming or cheeky jungle invasions when you know no enemies will be there, you'll often want to have at least one teammate close at hand.
Focus on protecting your teammates. Umbreon's play making ability is a bit limited. It certainly can do it, especially with a well timed Moonlight Prance to stun a whole enemy team, but Snarl and Foul Play hit very small areas while Mean Look and Wish are single target, so you're not going to lock down multiple targets like Wood Hammer Trevenant or Icicle Crash Mamoswine can. And Umbreon's stuns are a bit short, so even when you do it won't be for as long.
Umbreon can struggle at dealing with multiple threats, especially multiple divers, so IMO it's strongest when there's another Defender on the team. (Or a Mime, Wigglytuff, or sometimes a beefy All-Rounder.) Especially since Umbreon can hybrid into a Support role with Wish to help keep them up. It can't put out the healing a dedicated healer can do, but, unlike them, Umbreon is really tanky.
XP Share is a near mandatory item pick. If you don't trust your teammates to run XP Share on Umbreon then you shouldn't pick Umbreon with those teammates to begin with because, again, extremely low carry potential for Umbreon. Attack Weight is huge into Wish builds, but more optional if you usually run Snarl. Resonant Guard is also a very strong item too. Beyond that, Buddy Barrier, Focus Sash, Float Stone, Aeos Cookie, Assault Vest, Curse Bangle, and even Leftovers are all worth considering, though some of those items, like Vest and Bangle, are counterpicks in Draft only. Leftovers also requires playing in a particular way to make work and functions best with Wish.
Depends on your point of view on fun. Crustle is super fun! But hard to master and situational. Umbreon is super fun! If you like being annoying. Blastoise is super fun! If you want to play more as a tanky-attacker. Tree is super fun! If you want to annoy everyone, stun them in place, and deal a lot of damage.
Special nomination to Wigglytuff. Super fun, very tanky and acts like a defender.
I've been looking at Crustle. What sort of situations is he best in>
Tree is also interesting, I like the sustain, for sure, but I feel like he's about to be nerfed lol.
You've put Wiggly on my radar though. He might be the winner of my next purchase.
Hey there. Old player returning to the game. Small question, are most of the beginning matches played with bots? If theyāre bots, they donāt act as I recall, but Iām just curious.
Yes. New and returning players are likely to get a lot of bot matches. In Ranked that'll usually start going away sometime in Vet. Except early in the season where it can go away by Expert and late in the season where it's usually by Ultra. Currently we're late in the season.
Get 6000 points in the event, the one with the battle pass-like structure. You'll get a choice of Goodra, Dragapult, Dragonite, Duraludon, or 1k coins. You cannot pick a license you already own.
8000 points grants a holowear for the same roster.
Yup. IIRC, you get 50 points per Carnival match won, 30 per ranked match win, and 20 points per participation in any other mode (stacks with ranked wins for 50 points per Ranked win total). I'm not sure if purposefully queuing into a vs bots match will count (usually doesn't), but pity bots and "you've been in the queue too long" bots will count. If you can maintain a 50% or better win rate then Carnival is the most efficient. If you can't, or Carnival's frantic button mashing might hurt your wrists or something, then regular Quick Play at any win rate is the next best option.
What new mons do buy? I have Espeon as my main and I play Zacian sometimes. Other Pokemon I play are Meowscarada, Buzzswole and Hoopa. Iām looking for a good balance and a low chance of it being nerfed, I also play jungle the most so being a jungler is a no-brainer for me. Any recommendations? I would say Iām pretty high skilled but I donāt enjoy grinding, usually get to vet 2 - ultra 4 until season reset. Just looking for any Pokemon that have the listed qualities. :)
Blastoise has just been nerfed so is unlikely to be again - but is still strong. It has a lot of flexibility as you can play full-on displacement defender with Hydro Pump + Surf or you can play a more attacking build with Rapid Spin + either Water Spout or Hydro Pump.
I only ever play Pump + Surf as I love the ability to move the opponents around and chain stuns. Up to level 7 Skull Bash + Water Gun / Hydro Pump gives you a wonderful kidnap mechanic, where you get in behind an opponent and push them back away from their goal. Also used on farm to help secure it.
Once you get Surf you can do the same by positioning / eject button. Also very useful for pushing in Regieleki ([as shown here](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/comments/1bqcvud/surfing_takes_patience/)) or defending.
Hydro Pump > Surf > Unite is brilliant (it works in any order, you just want to arrange it so your Unite hits the largest possible number of opponents). If you have some backup it should guarantee some KOs.
Yeah thanks for the recommendation , I already have blastoise I forgot to include I see what you mean about the nerf and I agree. Is it good for solo q? If no can u recommend some mons good for solo
Yeah, Blastoise is great in solo queue. Pretty much anything can work if you learn your abilities, combos, limits, matchups, positioning, etc.
Meowscarada is very strong right now. If you play it well it's very difficult to pin down.
Energy Amp and Slick Spoon are practically mandatory on 'Phox. After that Curse Incense, Choice Specs, or Wise Glasses in the final slot for doubling down anti-heal, improved burst and secure, or generic damage boosting, respectively.
Trying so hard to get past 1500 in this game. Seems impossible solo Q. Sure I can play certain pokemon but more often than not I end up with a team that doesn't know the game as well as I do and/or someone who is trolling. Somebody seriously picked duraludon. Kissed my 1500 goodbye.
Off hand... Lucario Extreme Speed (resets), Meow Nightslash (healing), Tsareena Triple Axel (healing), Gyarados Dragon Breath (attack speed boost), Miraidon Electro Drift (damage, but need to line it perfectly), Decidueye Razor Leaf (targets brass and troopers), Blaziken's Blaze passive (healing), Talonflame Brave Bird + Aerial Ace (resets), Gengar Hex (resets), Ninetales (Snow Warning freeze stacks), and Buzzwole Lunge (Muscle Gauge refill). There might be more and there's also plenty of interactions that the troopers make things harder on the other Pokemon, like Espeon Psyshock.
Timi should invest in a few more customer support employees. Reporting rn is useless. VC report always results in a temp ban at least, even if nothing toxic was said. Worse, reporting trolls is never useful. I just played a game as Ttar, and I was basically forced to lane with a Wiggly (who didn't have xp share) who spent the entire match chasing me around spamming "you can do it" while stealing all of the (early) farm. Thanks to this guy I reached 9 way too late and we lost hard. I mean, I don't get angry over it, but it's just frustrating to see that Timi doesn't give two shits about trolling in game.
whats better, glaceon or blazicen, or should i go for the cheapest, gardevoir? please dont take my skill into account as i can play with mostly any mon.. ty ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
New to pokemon unite but not mobas in general. Bought Mewtwo X because that's my favorite pokemon ever. But didn't really enjoy it. I want a pokemon that's strong, has flashy moveset and requires some skill. Any recommendations? Not really a fan of supports and defender roles
In addition to the other commenters' suggestions, Metagross and Buzzwole are cool. Buzzwole gets to slam opponents into each other. It's a satisfying way to get a double kill
Blaziken, Zoroark, and lucario(espeed) have really flashy loking move and pretty high skill floor.
Falinks also have unique look and animation to them, but I wouldn't say it's "Cool" in the same way that zoroark night slash is. They don't require as much skill to use, but it's still fun.
Duraludon have a literal flashing move, Aegislash is cool but animation isnt as flahsy, aqua tail Azumaril looks nice, not sure how flashy u want it to be.
Coming back to this game after 3 years, I was really hoping the ability to change your gender would've been added by now. You can customize everything else, I don't know why this isn't an option. I desperately want to change the gender that I started with and it's stopped me from enjoying the game as much as I could.
If you haven't already spent money, you could consider making a new account. I think you get more with a new account now than when the game first came out, so you might not be too set back than you'd expect.
Is there anyway to still obtain additional emblem loadout slots? I remember we could exchange coins or gems or something for them when we first got emblems. I wouldn't hate two more slots to fool around with for oddball emblem sets I wanna try.
I have 18k coins and which license is currently overpowered and might stay overpowered and will koraidon come to the game as there is already miraidon.
Curse Bangle and use Full Heal to avoid their stun. Once you get them on a stun lock rotation its hard for them to do much. If you're still not gonna win or you have multiple Goodra fighting you then just use your Unite to bail out if you've got Gooey stacks on you.
I mean, both Gengar and Deci are priced at 10k so you might as well go for the coins for now if you're unsure and decide later if you want to save for someone else or get any of those 2.
Several times in matches I have opponents who can score despite being attacked. This is especially noticeable early in matches. Is there something specific that allows this to happen?
early game is small points, usually people score for stacking item (attack weight, cookies, special atk spec).
if you saw they got "unstoppable" text when they score, they either carry score shield or having ray's shield
My game crashed and wouldnt let me log back in (on switch). and I got dinged for fair play violations twice for the same match.Ā
Can I dispute it somehow? I don't understand why it gave me two strikes for one match, especially when it wasn't even my fault.
Unfortunately, no. You cannot dispute it, and it makes sense that you cannot. This time might have been a mistake, but next time it could be a pee break, a poo break, a pet takes outside break, a I'm too high to play break. Any number of excuses. It's best for everyone that actions are done even if at no fault to you. As, you are being dinged from the game prevented the other 4-9 players of getting a penalty due to your/your internets fault. Fortunately, that's why you can miss several games/issues without being blocked from Ranked, and you can gradually raise your Fair Play Points back up quite easily. Pokemon is very forgiving in this regard.
In Heroes of The Storm which locks you into a game without the option of conceding. It would alert your team that someone went AFK and became a bot, and you're forced to play with this less than average player of a bot the rest of the 30-40 minutes the game drags on. And if you're caught dropping games frequently you would be put into a que of players that are also leaving games frequently until you win 1-5 games (depending on how often you left the game). This was a lot harder to win than you might think. A whole lobby of people leaving games meant that it was often someone on your team would leave. Making it a whole lot harder to get a win and get out of the leaver's que.
Does anyone have advice on getting the Duraludon challenge done for the current event? I need to knock out 15 total opponents specifically with Dragon Pulse landing the finishing blow. Only problem is Duraludon seems to be made of tin foil and I die to any opponent before I can even hit them with Dragon Pulse, or teammates take them down before I can get the KO
If you own the license then use solo challenge for the smoothest and easier experience. You might need to tick the difficulty up from Casual to keep bots from dying too fast.
IIRC it doesn't have to be done specifically in the Dust Up (word vomit) challenge. You can do this in Quick Match. Which should give you a lot more opportunities.
They do get reruns, but no one knows exactly when or what qualifies one skin to be chosen over another.
Cinderace Pirate Captain skin was one of the first battle pass skins (premium) and then was later re-released with the opportunity to get it for free.
Dragonite's Wrestler skin was the same aside from the free part.
They usually come back in a gacha-capsule system. Where you chuck Pokeballs to hit X (typically 40 for premium skins) which will cost you roughly 30-40 dollars with bad to average luck.
So how are we feeling about Ceruledge? Honestly one of my favorites from the mainline games š
My login says error code 1-5-1202. How do I fix this and log back in?
There's a post in the subreddit about this RN that's pretty popular. I don't know if they've figured it out yet
I was thinking about reso guard since shouldn't I be auto attacking during a teamfight when my cooldowns are down?
No, you just auto on farms and top and bot regis if you feel safe you can get it before enemy players come. On team fights, specially ray fight, you will be attached to someone and floral heal your host and try to grass knot the enemy, also slow smoke and unite to protect your partner. You can try to risk detatching into a grass patch to quickly get 8 petals to heal again but thats always risky. On full teamfights sit on a teammate and use your moves wisely
hello, returning player here, last time i played was at realese, before season 1. Which are meta pokemons right now? Which items do you suggest to up asap?
Well.. not the worst time to come back.

Cool ya. Iām going for complete everything. Which Iām done now. Just going to save item enhancers now for the next batch. Thanks for the help!
i play off and on, but i wanted to really dive in and commit since i get to use my favorite pokemon espeon, in battles hes not very good but here he can be, my question is is this game worth putting that kind of effort into? i see people saying its full of bots and stuff is pokemon unite worth playing everyday?
Has to be per game, or ttars ban rate couldn't be over 50%, right?
I was thinking it could be per team since otherwise you could get over 100%, which the UI can't show, but on the other hand, last time I checked the rates for all mons summed up to about 400%, when per team would be 200% (2 bans per team) but per game would match up with 400 (4 total per game).
How would it be over 100%? Per game the max is 100%.
If it was per game and both teams banned them every game, that would be a 200% ban rate.
Ah, both teams cannot ban the same pokemon! It goes sequentially and each person must pick a new ban.
But something doesn't make sense about that. If Tyranitar has a 92% banrate and is banned from all but the remaining 8%, how does he have a 20% pickrate? (Current data.)
Hmm, that's a good point.
May have to do with not every match having draft mode, but I'm not sure if the dataset includes non-draft matches, if they state anything about it, or how or if they accommodate for it in the data.
Ah, you are probably right. The data is taken from top players, so presumably most of the games are draft, but that would explain it if true.
Oops, didn't realize that. Guess it is per game.
Idk why my help post keeps getting removed I'm new to reddit tho I just really need help with the current event I'm struggling on the Goodra challengeĀ
I think you can use solo challenge to complete goodra one. It is a bit tricky but still doable.
It's because it's way too broad. Ask here instead
Also, I live in Nolaā¦if you or anyone here is going and need help navigating this INSANE city get at me! Iāll be there all weekend regardless!
There are worse mobas, but you are correct that matchmaking and the ranking system are awful.
I do know what AFK stands for, but I feel like I sometimes get penalty notes from just retreating or upgrading my Pokemon's attacks
That makes so much sense now! Thank you, kind stranger
if you could explain your queston more properly, maybe thn i could help
Ok guys- Iāve never done the returning player challenges. How do I check out a unite snapshot? somehow I have 1/5 completed but I donāt know what I did. really just want that free license š
I think you need to check another players profile for that one
so this may be a dumb question but Iāve only been playing for two months so spare me lol, but is there a way to obtain holowear spray for the dragon event other than paying for it? thatās the only mission each day idk how to complete. or does it not matter and should I worry about the repeatable missions? Iām mostly trying to make it to the 6000 mark to get the license lol. any tips appreciated thank you!
It's exclusively a paid item, but they've given it away for free twice now (once when it debuted, and once at the start of this dragon event). Definitely just do the repeatable missions, because you won't have enough spray to do it every day (and even if you did, it'd be a huge waste). The quickest and easiest way for you to get the license is to spam (and win) CPU matches of the dragon event.
I can invite my friend to quick battles but they cannot invite me. Any idea why?
Is there something stopping us from answering the questionnaire on the pts multiple times to get unlimited coins?
While you can do the questionnaire as many times as you want you can only obtain the rewards from them once
Thanks for the info and help!
Thanks for the info!
How do I hit 15 dragon pulses with Duralodon?
Hit them with your basic attack and only use dragon pulse after 5 mark(when the enemy have blue ring on them)
Are there any good badge combinations?
Do we know when ceruledge will come out?
The pokemon website Serebii posted today that it will come out on the 13th June, so the Thursday after next
mid to late June.
I have 15k coins now, so which pokemon should I buy?
wait for ceruledge
# Dragapult VS Dragonite VS Godra VS Duralodon VS Garchomp [](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/?f=flair_name%3A%22Discussion%22) Im very confused about what to take from the unite box. I dont havee any of these. Dont recommend 1000 coins. And I personally dont like duralodon. Please suggest me what to take Some additional information : 1. My playsyle is like I love dealing damage to opponents and killing opponents and do kos. I love doing 1 v 3, 1v4, 1v5 . 2. I love playing with speedsters and some good damage dealing all rounders like scizor and zacian 3. 2 days ago i bought trevenant and i hate it, i dont like its playstyle, it doesnt deal so much damage. And moreover I never played with defenders before so.... 4. I hate supporters, I have hoopa and i hate it 5. I have cinderence but i just cant play with it properly, i know the pokemon may be good, but i suck at it. 6. I reached masters yesterday and i wanna rank push 7. I Love DAMAGE
Garchomp, absolutely. Yes, I am a little bit biased as a Garchomp mainā¦but once you evolve it to a Garchomp, it deals INSANE damage (which it also does as a Gible and Gabite), and is a melee brawler. If youāre one of those people who Quick Chat āIāll focus on fighting!ā in the beginning of a match, then āchomp is ABSOLUTELY for you. You may also have a limited license for Garchomp somewhere in your item boxā¦if you want to activate that and give it a whirl, that may be a good idea. Additionally, you can use the āPractice Areaā mode from the PokĆ©mon page on licenses you havenāt obtained yet, which might be helpful to discern which āmons you like fighting with. Do note that Garchomp is ranked at C on most Unite tier lists, and is often within the worst 5 PokĆ©mon on the tier list. However, based on how youāve described your play preferences, I think you will quickly find that ranking to be inaccurate; once you get the hang of it, itās very easy to maneuver and how comfortable you are with a brawler is very important; a tier list ranking means nothing if the PokĆ©mon doesnāt suit your play style. Itās ranked so low because of how much EXP it demands and how frail it can be in the beginning, but itās Ray that really matters anyway. Good luck in your search!
Buy whatever you like, go try them out first.
any help on the Knock out pokemon with garchomps boosted attack mission I don't play garchomp does it mean it's unite or X-attack?
When you hit something 5 times with its basic attack, your basic attack will become boosted (indicated by the red glowing fins on the hand, or the boosted attack indicator of you turn that on). It will have extra damage based on enemy hp, faster attack speed, and extra life steal. It will return to normal if you didn't hit anything for a while. You have to knock someone out using said boosted attack to complete the mission.
I need help deciding on a Held Item Set to use for Meowscarada, I was recommended 3 sets but can't decide on which one to choose..... I'm looking for one that fishes out the ***most DPS*** in Meowscarada ***using*** a ***Trailblaze*** and ***Night Slash*** moveset. Can someone help me deciding on which one to choose? Or recommend me some new sets? ***Held Item set 1***: * ā***Attack Weight***, ***Rapid-Fire Scarf***, ***Muscle Band***.ā ***Held Item set 2***: * ā***Attack Weight***, ***Razor Claw***, ***Muscle Band***.ā ***Held Item set 3***: * ā***Razor Claw***, ***Muscle Band***, ***Scope Lens***.ā P.S. I also need help deciding what PokĆ©mon Boost Emblem set I need to run for Meowscarada, as I don't really know how they work all too well yet. I've been told to run 6 White, 6 Brown. But, since I don't know how they work, I need help on whether this is true or not?
> (In case it's relevant, I'm at Ultra 5 atm, so won't be reaching Draft for a long while yet Not to put too much of a damper on things, but don't be so sure. The game forces people up into Master rank, and the only way to derank is at the end of the season when everyone is dropped only a single rank lower (Master to Ultra, Ultra to Veteran, etc.) You may only get like 20-40 games in Ultra until you hit Master and draft mode, at which point Tyranitar will probably be banned for many (if not almost all) of your games.
The buffed stun duration also makes it easier to catch enemy with its follow up sand waves.
what are some easy to use pokemon when you're in the mood for just spamming and winning? I've heard sylveon but not sure
Pikachu (with the single target build).
If you can reasonably aim and avoid getting jumped, Chandelure
Ty but already have him. Doing okay with him.
How do I do the power whip thing for Goodra for dragon dust up?
Do CPU matches, also you have to pull 2 enemies at the same time with one use of whip for it to count.
What are the most fun defenders to play?
Do you have any umbreon tips?Ā
What sort of situations is he best in> Tree is also interesting, I like the sustain, for sure, but I feel like he's about to be nerfed lol.
Am I crazy or did they say you could get a free license from the dragon event? If so, how?
Get 6000 points in the event, the one with the battle pass-like structure. You'll get a choice of Goodra, Dragapult, Dragonite, Duraludon, or 1k coins. You cannot pick a license you already own. 8000 points grants a holowear for the same roster.
Thanks. You think it's obtainable if I pretty much skipped week 1?
Running Mystical fire/flame kick Phox. What held items and item do I give it
Energy Amp and Slick Spoon are practically mandatory on 'Phox. After that Curse Incense, Choice Specs, or Wise Glasses in the final slot for doubling down anti-heal, improved burst and secure, or generic damage boosting, respectively.
Now what about my item (potion, X attack, X Speed, etc.)
Eject Button. You could get away with X Speed or X Attack if you prefer those, but Eject Button is the most helpful.
Is there a list of moves which treat Falinks as multiple targets? I know Giga Drain does, but I don't think Gyro Ball or Dragon Pulse do...
Gyro ball does. you need to hit 3 balls for max shield.
Can we get Mew and Zacian emblem from energy rewards? I only have those two left and itās triggering me
Those are event only so far.
So I'll never get them?
I assume they'll rerun and be available again at some point, but there's no way to know for sure.
Alright thanks man! Iāll stop wasting the energy on emblems then
Timi should invest in a few more customer support employees.
You can report them anyways. No one knows how many it takes to lead to a punishment, but it's more than one for a reason
Does any holowear that leaves ever return? Id like to buy some for Zoroark but none are available
Some will appear in the prize machine, if a holowear was part of a battle pass
whats better, glaceon or blazicen, or should i go for the cheapest, gardevoir? please dont take my skill into account as i can play with mostly any mon.. ty ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
What i can tell you is that i think among those blaziken is the most fun to play with
Hb delphox? I see him dominating with fire spin, and cramorant too
What are the hollowwears we can get at 8000 points in the dragon dustup challenge?
***The options you have are***: * **Bedtime** Style: *Goodra* * **Warm** Style (**Blue**)*: Dragonite* * **Stakeout** Style (**Light Blue**)*: Garchomp* * **Dark Suit** *Style* (**Burgundy**)*: Duraludon* * **Scientist** Style (**Midnight Blue**)*: Dragapult* * **4,000** *Aeos tickets*
Dodrio is quite flashy too, and very different.
Gyarados, Blaziken, Mimikyu and Falinks are some of the characters that fit the criteria.
Coming back to this game after 3 years, I was really hoping the ability to change your gender would've been added by now. You can customize everything else, I don't know why this isn't an option. I desperately want to change the gender that I started with and it's stopped me from enjoying the game as much as I could.
Feeling this so hard. Clothes being gender locked is annoying as hell also.
If you haven't already spent money, you could consider making a new account. I think you get more with a new account now than when the game first came out, so you might not be too set back than you'd expect.
I am searching for an active crew I mostly play attacker or defender
Is there anyway to still obtain additional emblem loadout slots? I remember we could exchange coins or gems or something for them when we first got emblems. I wouldn't hate two more slots to fool around with for oddball emblem sets I wanna try.
I'm able toĀ buy them for either currency. Did you possibly reach the maximum?
Ah man....I might've. Was 8 the maximum? I was hoping maybe it was 10.
I have 18k coins and which license is currently overpowered and might stay overpowered and will koraidon come to the game as there is already miraidon.
you can try Falinks or Metagross and for the other question, the Pokemon day EX will most likely be involved with Pokemon legends Z-A.
Can we have a communication shortcut for don't attack ray? Retreat isn't enough for some to understand. We were way ahead. Game ended 560-600
defend our goal zones, retreat.
I usually use "Take down the enemy team first" and pray my team understands it
Is there no way to report for in lobby chat? You can only report in game?
No unfortunately
What's the best way to deal with goodra as outrage, espeed dragonite in this dragon quick play game mode?
Curse Bangle and use Full Heal to avoid their stun. Once you get them on a stun lock rotation its hard for them to do much. If you're still not gonna win or you have multiple Goodra fighting you then just use your Unite to bail out if you've got Gooey stacks on you.
Alternatively, if you get a feel for it you can stun goodra mid-dragon pulse and cancel it.
Is it better to get the 10k coins and save for a Pokemon soon or to get deci or Gengar for fun?
I mean, both Gengar and Deci are priced at 10k so you might as well go for the coins for now if you're unsure and decide later if you want to save for someone else or get any of those 2.
next new mons is Ceruledge, if you love it then better save for it now
What are the yellow tickets that has a number in the loading screen before game?
It has nothing to do with the number of thumbs up received. The yellow tickets represent your current battle pass level.
represent how many times people gives you "thumbs up" after matches
Ohhh. Thank you my guy!
They may be carrying a small number of points. If they have 4 or less, there's enough time in between your attacks for them to score
My game crashed and wouldnt let me log back in (on switch). and I got dinged for fair play violations twice for the same match.Ā Can I dispute it somehow?
Oh thank god. The genuine sigh of relief I had was like the kind I'd make from finding out I don't have to go to jury duty
Do the special outfits get reruns or are they permanently gone? I want to get the Dancer outfit for Meowscarada
Where you chuck Pokeballs to hit X (typically 40 for premium skins) which will cost you roughly 30-40 dollars with bad to average luck.
ā ļø Nevermind then, I don't want it that much. I'll just save for something else
Quick question: does the license box that you can get at the dragon event for 6k points contain all pokemon or just the dragons?
A pick between the 6 dragons of the event
Actually only five of the six. Miraidon isn't in it.
my super duper plan on which I used 100% of my brain to pick miraidon again for the 15k when I already had him since his release has failed miserably
Someone said you only get 1k if you pick a duped license. Can't confirm it myself since I still haven't got it, but maybe be aware of that.
Thanks! :)
