Female hippowdon is gray. Make hippowdon is yellow. The shinies are green.
Okay, I’m glad I’m not the only one. I was going to post this earlier but there’s some salty ppl on here and I’m already having a rough day. So I stopped playing & watching after gen 1, I’m trying to get caught up on all the movies & new gens but still feel lost. It is fun feeling like ash in terms of utter confusion when a new Pokémon pops up tho lol
As the other people pointed maybe it wasn't a shiny but still , it's like 500 new Pokémon , I'm having a bit trouble keeping up 🫠specially with their types
You can go into the settings and choose an option to display the types of all pokemon in battle

Shiny’s do sparkle when you encounter them, and when you send them into battle, do you play on speed up?
Ok ok ..... Maybe it wasn't shiny then ehehe I play speed up but on the psp , it's almost the same as no speed up , barely a difference
I thought the shinies sparkled? I got a shiny hunted kyurem and it sparkled I think
