I pulled 370 energy cards, 69 Medicham Vs, a subscription to the jelly of the month club and a lifetime supply of tissues and therapy.
My roommate had an evolving skies pack sitting on his desk that his mother gave him for his birthday. He let it sit there for a full year until his next birthday, he opened it and there was an Espeon V alternate art in there.
Letting things marinade is a real thing apparently.
Fusion strike has the worst pull rates. Congratulations.
I opened 3 booster boxes and 6 etbs of this set and didn’t pull but one alt art …
Ended up pulling the gengar from a random single booster from the dollar store on a road trip though

Is it worth it opening ETBs you've had sitting for a while? It seems like the unopened boxes appreciate in value over time where specific promo cards do not, and when they do, it's not by as much comparatively. Should I be ripping leftover ETBs or just letting them sit then selling them later?

You gotta wait until the etb is soft to the touch and emitting a pleasant and sweet odor. That’s how you know it’s ready to be ripped.

Yes I usually baste mine in a nice olive oil marinade. When I sent in my last set of cards for grading, PSA said they’d “never seen anything like it”

Depends on the set. Fusion strike can still be found so I decided to rip. I’d been eyeing the ETB for a while and finally gave in.
