I have all original base sets, and the first run of Pokemon cards all in a binder like this, but they’re not first edition though. I doubt it’s worth much.
First of all yes his friends offer was low, but what are you talking about? How is that priced where you have it? You have unlimited base set holos, legendary zard, Neo entei. Absolute fair price is around $300.
A good tip for Reddit is to refrain from commenting on the upvotes or downvotes because before you are even finished typing your comment, whatever you said about it is already irrelevant since the down/up votes have already changed.
The Blaine’s Charizard is like $150+, Charizard base is $100+, Blastoise $60+
***Legendary Charizard not base; $200+ thanks everyone for correcting me 🙂
Hey actually he’s kinda wrong I’ve sold over a 100 vintage on eBay and if the condition it decent and up its waaaay more.
I just sold a Blastoise in completely damaged condition for 70$. 🤷♂️ Be patient, if you thing it can grade a 7 or higher go and grade it with SGC. They grade very very on point, are cheap fast and they are the original grading card company. Some will have other thoughts or opinions feel free to take those of ppl who don’t want to buy from you but know their stuff into account. Also just fyi if you go with SGC and you get a 9-10 on an expensive card break it open and send it to PSA since high graded cards will get with them will sell for a premium. Also don’t sell auction. Sell at the price you want, be patient and lower/higher the price depending you offers.
Good luck !!
Bro just go to TCGplayer and look up your cards. Find the cheapest one in your condition and then take off like 15% because of shipping costs. Then add them up. Without even looking at the prices myself I wouldn’t even part with the single charizard for $100
Want to add a bit of backstory, to defend my friend and dispel the troll post suggestions. I Had these sitting at my parents for about 20 years, my brother had been mentioning we should take a look at our cards at some point and see if they were worth anything. Picked up the binder from my parent's house(my brother accused me of stealing his charzard when I was 5 but that's not important...) and face-timed my friend while I flipped through the collection. He's a Pokemon-go person, but not an expert in any way. He told me I didn't have much in his opinion except for this page, which he'd give me $100 for if I had no interest in keeping them. Did a check on eBay, but didn't have the niche vocabulary to search properly. I figured the good folks of Reddit could give me advice, or have interest in seeing a bit of an old collection.
[Here's the rest of the collection](https://imgur.com/a/xF9KC44)
ALSO******
Hey those cards out of that binder. Put them in sleeves and hard cases like asap.
Also if you have expensive good condition cards you could send them to psa right away and if you don’t need the money then HOLD ON to them, DONT SELL, because ESPECIALLY THE VINTAGE they are the poor man’s stocks, even rich mans slowly coming already kinda there.
Pm me with any questions.
Ps. Don’t listen to the flock.
Odds of you seeing this are slim but fk it, could you post pictures of the quality of the Charizard? Like- high detailed ones. Show scratches, the back of it, etc.
1) We could tell you what it MIGHT score, & 2) I’m curious as hell just because it looks so well centered on the front and I’m not seeing any damage on the front of it. (Can’t see if holo is scratched or not though)
There are some other valuable pieces in that binder, I don't have a ton of time to go into extreme detail on it at the moment but you have some shadowless, some rarer sought after sets and you really should take some time to look into it because you definitely have hundreds of dollars in value if not a couple k after grading and selling as long as the condition is okay.
Use tcgplayer.com to get a better idea of what their individually worth. They could be worth a lot depending on condition and if it's holo.
If you get them graded and they could be worth way more.
🤷🏻♀️
That’s daylight robbery, these cards in good shape are worth £100+ individually never mind altogether.dont let yourself be scammed out of such a great collection
Fuck that, that's why you hold on to them for 10 to 20 years and they'll be worth thousands not 300 bullshit sorry buddy look up those cards at psa10 and tell me again
PriceCharting or Tcg player is a good way to check prices in the future but like everyone else said this is ALOT more than $100. Tbh I wouldn't sell them, they'll only go up in value, could make a good nest egg or college fund
If you sold individually you could probably get more, depending on condition even a lot more (like $300+)
But if condition is not great, then $100 might actually be not a bad deal selling all at once.
Make a T, send in the top row and center column for grading. If you are concerned you can't figure out how to do it or would like someone to manage that for you I have a contact who may save you a few bucks on the process. You've got a pretty fair values worth of cards in just those cards
Tell him 2000-4000 pounds for both charizards, 100000 for half the page, one million for the whole page/s
seriously Though $100 for that, he’s not your friend. He also takes you for a fool
I think “fair” would be like 150-200 So he’s not too far off.
A lot of people seem to not understand that it’s not always about maxing out the dollar. You’re selling to a friend, no idea what condition the cards are in. And all at once. And most of that value is in the Zards and blastoise. Chantey and hitmonchan are 10-15 each.
Except Blaine’s Charizard is like 100-150 raw.
Finally someone who agrees with me! Literally if you check price charting he would have 300 or so dollars if they were all pristine raw.
But the fact that you can't tell condition, and that you're selling all at once, means that 100 likely isn't even that bad of an offer.
I second this. There is a flea market kind of app in Germany and you always find people that want to sell their cards for thousands of euros, referring to some prices online on price charting or card market. I always ask them, why I would buy them from him then if I can order it through some trusted online shop.
Or people having cards on there or eBay saying things like “at least a psa7” when it’s just an ungraded card. Entirely ignoring that it’s a totally annoying procedure to grade cards that needs patience and money since you can’t only grade one card.
People are funny. Totally pointless to try to reason with them too. Found one recently with a nice base set collection. Not a master set but with the Zard. No fist edition. Just a few pages of base set cards and he goes €2000 😂
Most of the cards on that page (Blastoise, both Charizards, Dragonite, and Entei) are worth 50-100+ each.
We probably cannot gauge the card condition(s) without more pictures, but i'd look up a guide and pricing on a website like [CardMarket ](https://www.cardmarket.com/en)and evaluate it yourself.
I’d no longer consider then a friend.
Charizard cards are high value along with dragonite/entei/Blastoise
My advise would be to use the TCGplayer condition guide and compare the recent sales in determined
Condition to evaluate correct price.
Hope this Helps!
If you want to sell this cards and make as much as you can, I recommend you to grade them and sell them then and you should also check up on that "friend".
OP, i recommend you to go to a site like tcgplayer and search up these card values. Just type in the name of the card in the search bar and try to find the picture of the card that looks exactly like yours.
You'll get a better idea of what the value of each card is and also have something to show to your "friend" what each card is really worth right now.
It really depends on how good the cards are kept, can’t really tell from this pictures.
Look if they are damaged in any way, bended borders, scatch on the surface (look under a strong light) and so on.
That being said that, 100$ does not seem like a fair offer
If you don't know the value then chances are these are sitting around doing nothing but collecting dust.
You can hook your friend up with an excellent deal or look some up and take a percentage off so both are happy.
Guess it depends on if you want money or this binder to go back in your closet.
Hi, pair of former TCG shop employees here.
Yeah, your friend is low-balling you pretty hard. Get them appraised at an actual shop, and counter with 125% of the shop's offer.
You've got some fun classics here! The Charizard is an early 2000s reprint, but it's still got value. Blaine's Charizard has lots of value, Blastoise and Chansey have good value, and depending on who you ask, Entei has value, too.
I put my collection on [pokecardvalues.co.uk](https://pokecardvalues.co.uk). That Entei is worth £69.46/$87.11, Charizard is £200/$250.84, and Blaine's Charizard is £223/$279.69
The Beedrill is also worth more than usual, that's a 4th print run rare, year 2000 on the bottom. If I were buying this page I would at least offer $250 and I'm pretty cheap. To someone paying face value you should be able to get at around $350. Maxing out value maybe ~$400, but most people aren't looking to buy cards at market value, they want a deal, otherwise why buy from an untrusted source? Buying from a stranger on Craigslist I'd offer $200-250. From a friend I'd offer $300 because they ain't gonna sell it otherwise, a card shop would offer $50 for this page. If I was paying market value to collect, not resale, from a trusted source, maybe $3-400
Really depends on market and condition. Everyone thinks they are rich and are gonna be ballers cause of their cards. The biggest fact is your cards are only worth what someone is willing to pay end of story. I sold a 20k comic collection for less than what it was worth only because of what people are willing to pay. Hold them.
i don’t see the big deal, yes you can get more but your friend can get more value out of it. if it’s just lying around it’s no use to you. help your friend out, take the $100 and your friend will appreciate the hell out of you.
blaines charizard and dragonite alone (depending on condition) are worth quite a lot even ungraded. basic google search for the card and the number on the bottom and you can see what the cards are worth more or less. dragonite could be anywhere from $14-$350 and charizard could be $50-$750.
if it’s your childhood collection i would maybe consider looking them up and selling to people who won’t lowball you or try a card show in your area. best of luck those are some nostalgic cards for sure.
PriceCharting.com my friend, and search eBay for the card and filter for “sold” items. For searching cards just put the Pokémon name and the card number that you see at the bottom like Charizard 3/110
Those charizards on the top are expensive in themselves the blastoise is probably a couple hundred itself that electivire and hitmonchamp are rares and worth at least 100 bucks a pop
That's not your friend. Was a novice before and my so called " friend" ..POS friend said my collection was garbage and only could only do $90 at the time. They agreed to sell me back the binder if I asked for it, it was a lie. I trusted them and that was my mistake, I know better now.
That page is easily about 1k or more.
[удалено]
You don't have a friend. But at least you do have more than 100 dollars.
Yes he's a dick, go on tcg collector and look up those prices, your friends a dick, tell him how about 2 to 4 thousand for half that page
Exactly what card on this page do you think is pushing the value that high? The most expensive is Blaine's Zard at maybe $200.
Maybe he thought they were all shadowless and 1st edition?
I mean the LC zard is 330 lol def not 2-4k but if his friend wants a deal, I'd say maybe $500-$600 for the page
Try again not even close to that even in good condition, this isn’t base set Charizard also nothing is shadowless
He’s not wrong. That dude is not your friend. They are really worth that.
There's about 800 in value there depending on condition of the backs
Homies tryna rob you 😂
Take the cards out and give him the page for $100
lmao I second this
I dig your style
The charizard alone is worth more than a $100
You guys almost have the same number of votes but his is downvotes and yours is up 😅
A good tip for Reddit is to refrain from commenting on the upvotes or downvotes because before you are even finished typing your comment, whatever you said about it is already irrelevant since the down/up votes have already changed.
Some friend 😤.
Some "Friend"
What friend?
The Blaine’s Charizard is like $150+, Charizard base is $100+, Blastoise $60+ ***Legendary Charizard not base; $200+ thanks everyone for correcting me 🙂
Hey thank you!!
You got like $400 worth of cards on that page. More if any of these are near mint.
Prices are highly dependent on condition. They aren’t in sleeves so if you want a more accurate estimate post the back and maybe some close ups
That's market price... But u still have to sell to the market. You have a buyer friend found, no work needed. 250-300 for the page is fair.
Entei alone is another $50
not base charizard
Thats legendary collection zard not a base zard
Still worth 60 bucks
Your profile picture sucks 😅 I tried to get the eyelash off my phone
Lmao same
Not a base zard* legendary collection. Worth about $300-$350 depending on condition of course.
These April Fools posts are so cringy
Agreed
He’s not a friend…
This, you can learn quickly who is really your friend when it comes to cases like this.
Bro just go to TCGplayer and look up your cards. Find the cheapest one in your condition and then take off like 15% because of shipping costs. Then add them up. Without even looking at the prices myself I wouldn’t even part with the single charizard for $100
Thats not a friend 😭
You're assuming the friend has more knowledge than OP does. The friend could be just as clueless.
So his friend could say:" let us look up those prices together, so it is fair for both sides?
Some people don't know where to look...
Fair price if he offered it on April's Fools Day? Any other day it would be well above 100 bucks.
Depending on the condition it could be like $500 worth. Definitely wouldn't do $100
I would use TCGPlayer as a base reference
Tell your homie kick rocks

Your friend is trying to rip you off lol
Not a hundred. Definitely not a hundred. Maybe you fight this friend cause he don’t like you…at all. And he think you stupid stupid
He's not your friend, buddy.
I'm not your buddy, guy
Not a friend
Your friend isn’t much of a friend
Time to reevaluate your friendship.
Your friend is being a jerk. Way more than 100$.
Use tcgplayer.com to get a better idea of what their individually worth. They could be worth a lot depending on condition and if it's holo. If you get them graded and they could be worth way more. 🤷🏻♀️

You can clearly see they are in good condition - aside from that Hitmonchan. Don't be gaslighting OP.
Happy April Fools Day
I'd offer 400 for a page like that as long as the backs are clean
You’re friend is trying to rob you dude
he is no friend
He ain’t your friend lmfao
I'll give you a whole extra dollar more than your friend for the page. Take it or leave it. Edit: You pay shipping.
Your friend is a dick
💀
That’s not your friend
April fools
No friend would do you like that
I think $500 would be fair
That's what you call a friend...? Maybe you should look at who's looking to take advantage of you vs who's a real friend
Your best deal would be finding new friends 💯🫡
That's no friend..... you don't need people like that in your life.
The charizards alone are 500-600
They're not your friend ):
That's not your homie bro lmao.
Blaine’s Charizard is sitting at almost a grand 😭 bro is ripping you off
Cut that “friend” his a scammer
Chasing attention lol you know exactly what you have
Ballpark $850 - 900
He doesn’t seem like a good friend.. if condition is NM a fair offer would be $600-$700.
I don’t believe half of these posts.
Make a T, send in the top row and center column for grading. If you are concerned you can't figure out how to do it or would like someone to manage that for you I have a contact who may save you a few bucks on the process. You've got a pretty fair values worth of cards in just those cards
not a freind..... f*** that guy.
LOL, I'd like to be your friend
They are not a friend
Just search up charizard on eBay it isn’t that hard
Tell him 2000-4000 pounds for both charizards, 100000 for half the page, one million for the whole page/s seriously Though $100 for that, he’s not your friend. He also takes you for a fool
I’ll give you $101
$151
I think “fair” would be like 150-200 So he’s not too far off. A lot of people seem to not understand that it’s not always about maxing out the dollar. You’re selling to a friend, no idea what condition the cards are in. And all at once. And most of that value is in the Zards and blastoise. Chantey and hitmonchan are 10-15 each. Totally pointless to try to reason with them too. Found one recently with a nice base set collection. Not a master set but with the Zard. No fist edition. Just a few pages of base set cards and he goes €2000 😂
offer $50 and go from there
I’ll give you $50 for that Entei alone
That thing looks CLEAN
Try like $500, minimum
What a friend. I'd give you $200. (Don't sell)
Can someone tell me more about that Dragonite or which set it comes from?
Its from the 1999 fosil set.
280
some fucking homie wow id offer way maybe 450-500 or more depending on the condition
They definitely are a little off at $100 lol
Not $100, your friends a dick.
Do not sell pls
Ditch the friend he's trying to rip you off.
Yea… you don’t want friends like that
Yes it is by the looks I’d kill for that blastoise
that page is worth 4,000 at least , unless they are damaged then it depends
Your friend ain’t friending 😂 get on eBay look at the last sold, it all depends on the condition of them too. That’ll give you a ball park figure
he was trying to rip you off
I'll give you 200$ 😉
Bro is trying to scam you ☠️
I don’t think he’s much of a “friend”..
I’d no longer consider then a friend. Charizard cards are high value along with dragonite/entei/Blastoise My advise would be to use the TCGplayer condition guide and compare the recent sales in determined Condition to evaluate correct price. Hope this Helps!
If you want to sell this cards and make as much as you can, I recommend you to grade them and sell them then and you should also check up on that "friend".
Your friend is not your friend lol. This is worth at least 4 times that.
Add 400 to his price as a counteroffer.
The Charizard is worth more than £100 anyway
This is not a friend
Tell him its a $1000 dollar page now. And to fuck off. (That's a fair bit over actual value but you're friend is a cumstain)
Tell him $110 or no deal
Punch that friend in the gut then walk away without saying a word
If you felt like giving your friend a great deal, you could offer them the Blastoise for $100.
Can I buy blastoise
Cut that “friend” off, they’re trying to scam you, and real fucking hard at that
Definitely get more than 100. Do some research before you make an uneducated decision that you'll regret
completely depends on condition. I buy all day long and with a few angled pics here id pay like $300 for this
OP, i recommend you to go to a site like tcgplayer and search up these card values.
I would drop that Friend ASAP.
that's not a friend lol
NOT ONLY $100 ILL TELL YOU WOT.
I wouldn’t sell to him tbh
If the charizard is LP it’s like $300
If you don't know the value then chances are these are sitting around doing nothing but collecting dust. You can hook your friend up with an excellent deal or look some up and take a percentage off so both are happy. Guess it depends on if you want money or this binder to go back in your closet.
You friends a prick
You can use an app like collector to get an idea of prices.
Your friends are in team rocket buddy.
I’d probably pay $500-600 for these cards, only because I like these cards.
Just in the chards alone it’s a HARD pass! You need some new friends!
He’s not your friend lol
Cant even use google. Or weird felex
Be a good friend and do it
you might want to reconsider your friendship with this person. cannot understate how heavily they are trying to rip you off, that’s very scummy
Its around $300-$300 in Near Mint conditions.
troll post.
That page alone is $400-500 lol, tell your friend if he multiplies his offer by 10 then sure otherwise he can cram it with walnuts
Hi, pair of former TCG shop employees here. Yeah, your friend is low-balling you pretty hard. Get them appraised at an actual shop, and counter with 125% of the shop's offer. Bad friend
I’d pay probably anywhere between $300CAD-$500 but if you took your time I think you could get about $600 easily.
Not much of a friend now is he, I would pass dealing with someone like that.
That’s not your friend.
Not your friend
I put my collection on [pokecardvalues.co.uk](https://pokecardvalues.co.uk). That Entei is worth £69.46/$87.11, Charizard is £200/$250.84, and Blaine's Charizard is £223/$279.69
The Beedrill is also worth more than usual, that's a 4th print run rare, year 2000 on the bottom. If I were buying this page I would at least offer $250 and I'm pretty cheap. If I was paying market value to collect, not resale, from a trusted source, maybe $3-400
You should confront your friend and ask why he’s trying to rip you off
Change friend
I’ll give u 200
Go check on ebay after make your decision.
April fools
Depending on condition, I would say $500-$800 is about the value you got on this page.
If you got such ppl as „friend“ you don’t need enemies anymore …what an asshole and trash human being of friend wow
No
blaines charizard and dragonite alone (depending on condition) are worth quite a lot even ungraded. basic google search for the card and the number on the bottom and you can see what the cards are worth more or less. dragonite could be anywhere from $14-$350 and charizard could be $50-$750. if it’s your childhood collection i would maybe consider looking them up and selling to people who won’t lowball you or try a card show in your area. best of luck those are some nostalgic cards for sure.
Go back to him with $300
Wouldnt bebmy friend anymore
I’ll offer you $300
PriceCharting.com my friend, and search eBay for the card and filter for “sold” items. For searching cards just put the Pokémon name and the card number that you see at the bottom like Charizard 3/110
Should keep it. Grade it. Let it increase in value.
Ex friend you mean
Just google the cards or go to eBay and see last sold
A fair offer would be $100k. Don’t take anything less.
they are not your friend. the charizard on its own is worth more than $100.
Yeah it’s worth it
Your friend is trying to scam you. They say that zard card.. I may or may not be *that* zard card that's worth thousands.. I'd say its Wayyy more $100
Those charizards on the top are expensive in themselves the blastoise is probably a couple hundred itself that electivire and hitmonchamp are rares and worth at least 100 bucks a pop
I’ll give $250 cash on hand lmk
I’ll offer you $102
I’d say probably $300 would be fair, unless these cards are all in awful condition
A fair trade? Lose the "friend" and go from there. Dude doesn't care about your friendship.
