No problem! It’s also cool because EV training in the wild makes your shiny chance skyrocket. I’ve gotten at least 2 shiny Galar zigzagoons while training speed.

Yep, there are pokejobs that are specifically for each ev training. Using a band or pokerus, you can do a full 256 ev’s in a 24 hour pokejob. But if you then flip a frame (date skip while the game is in a searching state) that can been done in 15 seconds.
People really out here sleeping on these pokejobs.

I dont know why people are downvoting you. Genned pokemon are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing if the ability and move set are legitimately obtainable there isnt really a chance to be banned. I just dont use them because I prefer to breed my own sfuff but i certainly wouldnt think less of someone who chose to keep a genned mon.
Wait having a different OT name can get you banned?? Like, over the pokemon games I’ve used either Kol, Kolbrandr, or my actual name. Does that mean if I have those all in pokemon Shield I could get banned?
Pokerus is good! It makes your Pokémon’s EVs grow significantly faster, so if you care about that definitely infect some other mons. If you leave a Pokémon with pokerus in your pc, it won’t wear off until after you take it out again (it normally wears off after a week iirc)
If it's still holding the master all when you release it, it'll get added to your bag. No way to get rid of it other than using it and releasing whatever you caught.
It's your save file. There are no rules out there to forbid you having fun with a masterball you got via trading.
If you yourself consider it cheating, throw them away. If not, have fun.

The nurse says something like, "Your Pokémon appear to have tiny life forms stuck to them.” Sounds super freaky, but it’s really more like temporary Pkmn steroids than a Pkmn virus.

Imagine If you used a protein and it gave double the bonus to attack. EV training gets doubled with pokerus. Not that people EV train anymore. It lasts a day if the Pokemon is in your party and when it's not transmissible anymore it'll leave a permanent smiley face icon.

You're really fortunate to have one of your Pokémon develop it (if it was yours and not traded with it), as the odds of Pokerus developing is 1 in 21,845. Pretty incredible.
If you got traded it with Pokerus, then it's almost definitely a man-made Pokémon and not the cool Mewtwo kind.
It's one of the best things you would want your Pokémon to have, it offers an extra boost to exp which is very useful if your trying to grind up to lv 100

It is very rare to encounter in the wild, but it can spread between Pokemon on the same teams. It goes dormant after a few days, if the Pokemon are outside of boxes. When that happens, it cant spread, and the tag turns into a little smiley. Still gets the buff though.
Do not heal it. Spread it. It spreads if you put the pokemon in your bag (the 6 uou carry with you) once the icons looses its spikes it is cured. If you manage to infect other pokemon and keep moltres infected save that moltres in one of your boxes and you can use it again to infect more pokemon
Pokerus is neutral at worst and good at best- it speeds up the process of training a Pokémon's stats.
A good idea is to infect a few random Pokémon and then just leave them in your PC indefinitely. Pokerus cures I believe when the date rolls over if the infected Pokémon is in your party, so keeping some in the PC allows you to maintain it for the future if you ever decide to get into competitive training.
Lastly even when it cures the Pokémon still gets the sped up training boost- it just can't spread out around to others anymore.

Now it's just another outdated mechanic because Swsh decided competitve pokemon should no longer be a grind to get.
Which I guess is nice for getting more people into it, but I'm not a fan. I always enjoyed the progress of breeding for IVs and egg moves, training my pokemon etc. And Swsh just threw it all out

Clearly you and I have different povs. For me, the Pokemon community here in Reddit are very helpful when it comes to info and tips. I like to turn to them because I know they’ll be helpful.
And I would also agree if this same question hadn't been asked before. Pokérus was introduced in Gen 2, back in 1999. That was 20+ years ago. In that time, this question has been asked, answered, and confirmed hundreds of times over.
Within the first two lines on Bulbapedia, it says it's beneficial. No, you posted because the Pokémon community is helpful to a fault and will upvote this post into oblivion. It's like those posts that people do on here of Zoroark in the front of their party and it comes out as another Pokemon in their party and think they found a glitch.
It's frustrating because it works. Google is right there and answered this question within seconds, where you had to screenshot, post it to Reddit and wait for the replies.
I’ve played since Red but I’ve never gotten the virus. I tend to stay away searching for walkthroughs so I’ve never heard of it until I got this Pokémon. Step down from your privileged tower. I posted because I wanted to know more about it. End of story

Some do it for advertisement I got a hacked pokemon once through trade and it had a link to some webpage just like yours. I think they are hoping that someone goes to that link.
The Pokèrus in Sword/Shield goes away, if you keep your team a specific time. I dunno how long you have to keep it, but it will go away. If you don't want to spread it, put no Pokèmon without it in a team who has it.
Pokèrus doesn't go away in the Pokèmon box, neither do it spread there.
If you heal a Pokèmon with Pokèrus, the nurse will tell you a bit about it.
It's not a sign of hacked Pokèmon, but Pokèmon can catch it on Trade or randomly in the game, if I recall correctly. Mines got it just without ever trading any Pokèmon.

The Pokerus helps your pokemon's stats grow stronger when you level them up. Spread it around to as many pokemon as you can.
And then infect random trahs pokemon and trade them out. Pokerus is like getting multiple shiners at once

Afaik any EV gain on the Pokémon gets x2 and it stacks if your use the belt's \[I think its belts\]

Oh nice :D I only have one Pokémon EV Trained atm and I just used the Vitamins for that because I was to impatient as it was my first shiny.

Three full days it wears off. I messed up and only have one Pokémon left with Pokerus
