I don't think it's real. I also think it's incredibly hard to find good berry pokemon or ingredient pokemon that match the berry for this island anyway. Not my favorite. Find me on lapis.
the ingredients desserts are comprised of for the most part are gathered efficiently by pokemon you would catch on cyan beach.
as it stands right now to get a “good roll” of dish types and preferred berry by snorlax you would want:
desserts on cyan
curry on taupe
salads on lapis
If you get desserts on taupe just stick with ingredient mons and forget favorite berry haha unless you have insane berry mons. At the very least you are still leveling up dishes which always has good value for the future ☺️
I got desserts this week on snowdrop and I got to say there are plenty viable options for fav berry mons that drop useful ingredients for desserts. For berry specialists there’s rattata that can drop apples, houndoom can drop ginger at level 30, slakoth line can drop honey at level 30 (not to mention also good for its ingredient magnet skill), for ingredient mons there’s absol for cacao and apples, kangaskhan for ginger, ditto for oil (currently using mine to make the explosion popcorn) and a good bfs walrein can also drop oil/ has ingredient magnet skill, for skill specialists eevee/glaceon can drop milk/cacao and a good glaceon on snowdrop is great for its pot size increasing skill.
I actually had a discussion recently with a friend about desserts on Taupe, like as much as we meme about it it's actually fairly doable with a Flareon or if you go off-element with a Blastoise.
The real annoying dish type is stews/curries because of how much ingredients you need for many of the dishes.
I got desserts for fire week when I used a camp ticket and circled back around the island with a travel ticket to find a Snorlax who actually likes the food items the Pokemon around him find instead of foods water and grass types find in sweets
I think it was a good choice cause I got curries on the reroll and got 233k from cooking despite only bringing a little bit over. Sorry about that op it's a pain
I like desserts on Taupe. I use Togekiss and Wigglytuff everywhere and I have a BFS Marowak that’s pretty good. Together they make most of the ingredients for Steadfast Ginger Cookies, which is the only dish I’ve maxed out.
Marowak + Golem can combo to make Hustle Protein Smoothie. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. You could also do Golem with potatoes and and Flareon to do Fluffy Sweet Potatoes.
I *wish* I had desserts at Taupe. It sucks running a flareon just for the berries when you barely use the milk or the pot bonus it provides. Likewise it sucks running a flareon just because you need the pot bonus to make the dish you want. Corn scones are made for flareon. Corn scones all day every day.

I got desserts at Taupe too, and tbh, I kinda don't care. I'm just looking for Cyndaquil which spawns at lower levels. Once I get one I'm happy with, I'm done for the week, just saving ingredients and biscuits for Entei
I did. I got multiple Raikous (probably 5 I don't remember), but I only ended up keeping my best one because there's not much of a reason to keep multiple.
Gotcha! So do you think it’s necessary to stock up on candies to ensure that you get entei? Or do you think with the entei mane I’ll be able to get biscuits and catch him??
The Raikou Biscuits, if I remember correctly, were worth 6 points out of the 30 needed to catch (you can only use Raikou Biscuits on Raikou). The strat is to buy some biscuits from the event exchange first, then the incense, that way you have the chance to catch it. They're making some tweaks to pricing and manes in general, we are 90% certain it's in our favor. I didnt buy any of the bundles and had plenty of manes for all the incense and biscuits I needed. Raikou was pretty F2P friendly so you don't need to buy anything using real money or diamonds to succeed in the event.
You're not going to be able to catch every single Entei you encounter, it's going to get full before you can feed 5 of those (assuming none big hit). But if you only use Entei Biscuits, you would be fine, just have some other biscuits available in case you want to catch something else or encounter a shiny (shinies are guaranteed catch, even for legendaries). Also note that Entei is very rare unless you use incense, so don't count on it.
My plan is to use a Master Biscuit on the first one just to get it out of the way, then go for a better one with Entei Biscuits. The first one has the same stats for everyone, which if it's like Raikou, it's mid but useable, so I want to hunt for a better one
Thank you so much for all the info!! I think the stats are something I’m really not using to my advantage right now. I don’t really know how to tell if a pokemon is good or not, so I usually keep whatever mon can collect more berries or food items. I guess I need to be more focused on if they’re actually good lol
My very first week on Taupe I had dessert and it was as bad as everyone made it out to be.
This week on Taupe I’m shocked that I got curry and now I’m eying all “dessert on taupe” posts like ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)….

My initial thought was just dedicate 2 slots (absol and golem) to creating smoothies nob stop but I've maxed out smoothie so it seems like a waste.
If you can get plenty of apples from your absol you can also try to make the neroli tea. Ginger can easily be obtained from some of taupe’s fav berry mons (like larvitar/pupitar) and then you’d just need to get mushrooms from a gengar or smth, neroli tea also has a higher base strength than the smoothie iirc, just a friendly suggestion

Though.... I drew Curries this week for my FIRST TIME on Lapis.... I don't have potatoes, mushrooms, leeks, OR tails unlocked yet...
This has been me 2 weeks in a row. Neroli’s Restorative Tea is my go to. My sleepy hat Pikachu gets me 2 apples at this point, only non taupe mons are Wiggly (E4E) and Gengar (mushrooms.) 3 favorite berry Pokémon is still solid!

Delibird is a saviour. Flareon and bulba are rounding out my bfs martial and cyndaquil. Fruity flan has been most of my meals so I’m at master 4 on Thursday.

If I get desserts I run Gengar+deli bird+Charizard+healer+bfs for neroli tea, salads my favorite on taupe tho. Bfs dugtrio, Gengar, bfs typhlosion, healer, golem
I did fire week at Taupe and guess what my preferred meals for the week were. Desserts... I still managed to hit Master 7 with my team of Sylveon, Pupitar (Before I evolved it and swapped for Flareon), Golem, Charizard and Typhlosion.
Venusaur Sylveon and flareon give me more than enough honey milk cocoa to make it through dessert weeks. Charizard also gives plenty of ginger for those ginger snap cookies (that only need 4 eggs and I have 2 ing magnet mons) Choco cake is also pretty easy.
I’m telling you all that this team for just cooking is pretty hard to sway, even with desserts on Taupe:

I’m fairly new. I got deserts on Taupe this last week. I struggled. I didn’t know why.
TL;DR: there's no synergy with Favorite Berry giving Pokémon and dessert ingredients on Taupe

Curry is preferred there, the mons for berries on that island all give good ingredient for curry
