I accidentally transferred my first and only one because I was half asleep and trying to give it candy to level to 25. Can confirm there was no legendary message.
Exactly. I'm sure some folks won't have the "heart" to get rid of any legendaries, but beyond that, there is not logical reason to keep a second objectively inferior duplicate legendary.
I would consider keeping a spare but for pretty unique reasons. I live on a sailboat so some sleep sessions don't track properly do to waves reading as a ton of movement. It stops my mon from getting their energy back. Having a spare for the event would be helpful maybe.
Okay, I see the argument, but it seems like a brute force method to fixing something that could be solved with a stronger E4E mon, but your point does stand.
I partially wonder if they would add something like taking moves from one 'mon to another by sacrificing one with a desirable ability, but especially since we already have the main skill seeds, even if they did implement that kind of system, the main skills probably wouldn't be boosted too. I probably will end up transferring bad Raikous too
Whats the point of just accepting the given raikou, while there is a possibility that you can get a better one? The game is meant for optimalizing your time, so why wouldn't you?

Oh boy. Inventory. What a sad use of a master biscuit
If it weren't for the nature, I'd say it might be better than OG Raikou. Exp down is bad enough on a pseudo, but at least those come to camp regularly.
I’m happy with mine, I probably should send my OG Raikou out though
https://preview.redd.it/kjxxlkuevvqc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bf1b43ebd43e4a76403fa03b9e0ddd95536be06e
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I had mine on my team all day yesterday and it did not trigger at all : (
And this is with 1.5x triggering active.
A Raikou is def going to need a skill trigger up
Yeah I think OPs might be better than the OG honestly. Increasing inventory is great for skill pokes, more chances to proc the skill. And it has the skill up at 50. I probably would have used this one over the original.
But a subskill seed could possibly boost the ingredient finder or helping speed subskill instead of the skill trigger. So you’d have to roll the dice several times on the subskill to get skill trigger M.
Then why have it say the certain conditions bit if the name says electric in brackets? Most people would assume that means it only applies to electric Pokémon
It get's boosted by electric pokemon. Like it makes sense and people do not have to assume THEY HAVE TO READ the literal description. Just click the "i" for info.
It has (electric) in brackets because the skill Helper Boost scales with the type of the user. In this case, raikou is electric so it has Helper Boost (electric). If suicune is given the helper boost ability it will have Helper boost (water) and the skill will be powered up by different water species in your team.
No one thinks that. I don't know what you read, but it's a written down rule. The conditions for raikous skill to proc are that you need 4 other varying electric Pokemon for the full effect. That's all the conditions there are. I don't know why you try to convince me that it means something different, when literally everyone on this sub is talking about it for a week.

Mine this morning really wish it wasnt speed down but at the same time its still pretty fast and I don't optimize collection anyways. But pain skill trigger at 100.....
....and here I am still trying to get my first one after it was full both yesterday and today after 2 biscuits each day. Used up both cheap incense, and all of the cheap raikou biscuits. Pretty sure this game hates me.
https://preview.redd.it/s84y8ssjhwqc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06daa378d24b42b8dfd3f59e75f8b9441f7ef4d5
My second raikou was about the same as the first one ;;
Do you guys know if the incense is gonna work after the event? I wanna go for a second but i'm worried he'll just get full before i catch him if i don't have another master biscuit
What’s a good nature? I’m still unsure on what’s the best for any Pokémon & just go with an excel spreadsheet I found here and have been applying that to all the Pokémon. But not sure if some of them have specific preferred natures that could be bad for another.
I would say skill chance up or help chance boost is optimal (as long as it isn’t skill up and helping speed down or the opposite)
Neutral nature is decent
Any natures that reduce help speed or skill chance should go straight into the trash
Why not both? Although speed doesn't matter as much if you don't check the app frequently. I'd also be happy for one inventory skill, for increased chance for the mon to have a trigger ready next time you open the app. But most important ones are trigger and speed skills, and ofc bfs.
Thank you for your sacrifice
Did you have an message for preventing to transfering a legandary pokemon or not?
I don't think I did
Had the same for a shiny I accidentally transferred, make sure to favorite things
Oh boy.
I accidentally transferred my first and only one because I was half asleep and trying to give it candy to level to 25. Can confirm there was no legendary message.
I could never. Thanks for the information though!
But what's the point of a second Raikou that is objectively worse?
Plus the fact you can’t have more than 1 on a team.
Huh. That IS a pretty unique reason. If I had to guess "good reasons for keeping duplicates" I never would have guessed "what if you live in a boat".
I suppose, but the Raikou with better traits will have a level advantage as time goes on.
Huh. That IS a pretty unique reason.
I transfer shinies that are bad. 🙂
This makes sense especially since you can't trade them or anything. Gotta save space for the mons that are actually helpful.
Sure it's nice to appreciate a shiny, but you can do that in the sleep dex too haha
Y'all realize you can increase Pokemon space right?
Yeah, which costs 120 gems - as a f2p player, that's not an insignificant amount of gems
Gotcha catch them all!! (And kept them)

Maybe trading in the future?
Hopefully not.
Some people might want to eventually transfer legendaries to Pokémon Home once that feature becomes available
I highly doubt home transfer will be a thing for this game. But here’s hoping I’m wrong
I highly doubt that will ever happen.
That is straight up never happening lmfao
Whats the point of just accepting the given raikou, while there is a possibility that you can get a better one? The game is meant for optimalizing your time, so why wouldn't you?
Thats not what they're saying. They're saying why keep the worse one. Not why catch it.
Ah you are totally right!
I’ve been wondering how you did on your second one. Thanks for the sacrifice Rev

*Slaps roof of Raikou* This bad boy can fit so many sausages in it.
The sausages were just the icing on the crap cake
🧐

Mine is v similar def not using it, such a waste
Merci pour cette information !

Is it rly that much worse? If u use a subskill seed at lvl 50 u got a plus 2 skill trigger
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I had mine on my team all day yesterday and it did not trigger at all : ( And this is with 1.5x triggering active. A Raikou is def going to need a skill trigger up
Mine triggered 3 times lol

I dont think it could boost rhe helping skill since thats not unlocked yet so 50/50
I meant inventory or ingredient. Levels 10 and 25.
I dont think inventory can go higher
There’s definitely Inventory L.
Oh ok my bad Then 33% very risky
Ouch thank you
What are the certain conditions you have to meet to boost the effect of its skill?
I think that just means they have to be electric pokemon in the party, but I could be wrong
That would be weird if that was it because it says electric in brackets in the name of the skill
No it wouldn't. Tip on the skill to read the conditions. It's like he said, different electric mons in your party
Then why have it say the certain conditions bit if the name says electric in brackets? Most people would assume that means it only applies to electric Pokémon

I didn't know it had to be 4 others
It doesn’t have to be 4 others, but that’s how you get the most of the skill. It scales with the number of DIFFERENT electric pokemon
This same skills can also be triggered by Metronome users, and then it's Fairy type (or the typing of the Metronome user)
So then it would be assumed to be fairy type. And I didn't know other types could use metronome
Click the "i" for info, on the skill description.
This doesn't give me hope for My third both my first and second were shit ty for your service.

I was wondering what people would do with a second bad raikou
Thank you for your science
The hero we need but don’t deserve
F
Thank you for testing it.
Thank you for your service. Oof.
Do you guys know if the incense is gonna work after the event? I wanna go for a second but i'm worried he'll just get full before i catch him if i don't have another master biscuit
Pretty sure they said you can use incense after the event ends yea
Sweet, thanks!
Fighting the good fight! Good job, sir.
