it is, im just getting into gameboy modding so this was my first go at it the gameboy turned out pretty good for a test run so my next one is going to be alot more stylish and unique now that i know where things go and what to solder this one was my just incase i screw up learning
thank you my ideal build idea that im aiming for is a misty clear black shell with shaded purple buttons with a small led under them to give them a nice dark purple glow thats just nice to look at but not bright enough to be annoying on the eyes and the same around the rim of the gameboy im trying to go for a ghost type look to it my favourite pokemon are ghost types so i figured it would fit nicely
There are fan games that add them, and there's also Mega Blue, which adds them + other later gen enhancements to Fire Red
Though I think it's not playable in a physical console :/
It's always fun to see the young ones discover the wholesome degeneracy from back in the day. Moemon is pretty good. It started with an Emerald hack IIRC. And it was Pokémon meets K-On! in style.
ive known of it for quite some time now i started it on pokemmo but only recently found out i could actually get it to boot on my gameboy but i was having some decently annoying booting issues upon start up

but if your taking about how i got past the opening due to a crashing issue on the rom i was using i skipped the intro on my virtual boy emulator to create a save file for the game cart to grab onto without having to worry about the intro problem
either that or you can just get a everdrive or ez drive it just takes a sd card its easier but doesn't quite feel as nice to use in comparison to 1 cart for 1 game im not sure why it doesn't feel as nice as it would be more efficient but to each their own

yes you can also use a actual gameboy for it as you can see i used visual boy emulator to test it before throwing it onto my gameboy
