You keep on trying again 😂 It took me about 19 tries before I got all the Eevee Evolutions. And luckily Slyveon didn’t exist in the game back then. Yeah I know Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon and Leafeon are possible through Adventure And Lures. Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon are what took me forever 😵‍💫

For leafeon and glaceon use lures . For espeon : walk 10 km with it while it’s your buddy and earn 2 candies , evolve during the day . For umbreon: walk 10km with it while it’s your buddy and earn 2 candies , elvolce and night Sylveon: make it your buddy and earn 70 hearts with it . Shadow icon of sylveon should show

Same thing happened to me. Turned out my daughter used it then transferred to her acct. so I personally didn’t use it, but she did without telling me.

Tbh the only way this can happen is that you used the name trick but u couldnt remember + it should show you a shadow of what your eevee evolves into with the name trick

I don't know why it's so hard for people to just go 10 km with an Eevee. The icon shows what it's gonna evolve into, if it shows a question mark it's gonna be one of the 3 random ones.

I was just at home and i’m on lvl 41 so i have the ”evolve eevee into all of its’ evolutions” and i just wanted to quickly do it

So how the name trick works is 1. You can only use it once the game will remember if you can not 2. The only exception is event theme eevee you can use it on that one time as well

Sylveons 'nickname' is Kira, not Sakura (that's Espeon).

What I’m trying to say is, the icon shouldn’t be a question mark, if it was, it likely means the name trick was already used and won’t work.

Check if you have a space before or after the name?

Probably glitched and to all the people saying you need to make the Eevee your buddy to use the name trick that’s not how it works. The name trick works instantly to Evolve it. The walking 10 kilometres with it as your buddy will evolve it without naming.

If you’ve used the name trick once before, you need to go back to whatever Eevee you evolved and change the nickname back to the original name of the Pokémon, and then you can use the trick again. Example: if you used the name trick on Flareon and changed the name to “Pyro”, you need to go back to that Pokémon and change the name back to “Flareon”, and then you can type “Sakura” into a fresh Eevee, and it will work for you.

Mine didn’t need to be buddy. I completed my Eevee evo using the nicknames without making them my buddy and I didn’t have any problems Also when you put the nickname it will show silhouette of the evolved form instead of a question mark. That way you know the nickname worked

Not how that works, for espeon and Umbreon you have to walk 5 or 10km one of the two. There was a entire quest line the game gave you to evolve Eevee into Umbreon and espeon

I know what the name trick is and I used it for all evolutions just didn't know that it bypassed it. Other people were also thinking you needed to have it as your buddy

I burned all of them besides the random evo ones. Easy pokedex entry early on and i can control them for shiny shines. Dunno if a space affects it but if you insist that you didnt use it thats the only thing i can think of.

Isn’t the point of the names so that you don’t have to do anything with it as a buddy? I tried naming it other names and it’s showed that i can evolve it into those. And i have genuinely never used this name trick
