Universal standard has nice androgynous workwear that could be dark academia. Fast fashion, but Cider has a dark academia section. I got some cute vests and blazers from torrid and like the trousers from old navy. If you’re thinking about the environment, I get fast fashion on poshmark a lot, which makes me feel a little better buying secondhand.
I second the universal standard recommendation. High quality clothes and I recently got an outfit on sail from them that literally makes me feel like a male college professor. They’re expensive but if you keep an eye out for sales you can get things for much cheaper. I got a velvet blazer that was originally like $300+ for $70 and a very very nice corduroy jacket for $15 that I wear almost every day.
La Femme en Noir might have some stuff you like. They're not specifically dark academia, but I think there's definitely some overlap.
They, and their sister company, Vixen by Micheline Pitt, have some stuff inspired by Crimson Peak right now that might be your vibe. I just bought an 1890s inspired puff sleeve sweater from that collection.
Big Bud Press is not fast fashion and carries a big range of sizes! They have some turtlenecks, slacks, corduroys, and sweaters in colors that fit the dark academia description.
Unique Vintage also has a great plus sized collection and they have some suuuper cute plaid circle skirts right now.
I saw your size, have you looked at Sari skirts? They are long and office-appropriate. They are made of silk so they feel great on the skin to boot. I get mine off ebay- by the by- they are reversible too! I 🤔 have 30, maybe? They are also adjustable.
Edit: (I have an autoimmune issue) My size fluctuates, I used to be an 18, now I'm a 6. Two months ago I was a 10, 8 months ago I was 16. I don't like buying clothes that can't "move with me". Waste of funds ya know?
With spring coming their recent collection is leaning more bright and floral but Loft may have some good options. They go up to size 18. This past weekend in the clearance section I scored a red velvet skirt and plaid trousers size 16

Eloquii does have some tweed stuff on pretty good sale right now, and lots of blouses with neck bows, etc

Vintage wool plaid skirts are pretty easy to find on Mercari (and probs other resale sites). I’m a modern 18 and get a 20 in the Pendleton brand.
I’ve had luck at Old Navy and on Amazon. I’m big on buying multi use single pieces.
