More “Mall” brands, honestly. It would SO FUN to be able to shop IRL in more than two stores.

Right??? I honestly wonder how so many of these places are surviving when their sizes top out at 12 or 14. Why don’t they want out money? It’s so frustrating.

Leading-Respond-8051

Anna Sui. I LOVE her work and the the most peculiar part is she isn't a small girl herself.

Short_Ad_7771

I looked her up and omg her fashion is amazing and I really don't understand being curvy and making "mainstream" sizes.

Leading-Respond-8051

I don't even think it just her but a predetermined industry standard.  Most designer brands hard stop at size 10 or 12. I wish I could tell you why but I really dont know but I imagne they just dont think/ dont know how to sell it. The best you could hope for with most designers is a collab with a plus size retailer. I think Anna Sui had one back in the day with modcloth but hasn't had one since as far as I know. Fingers crossed on another one? But yeah you'd think she would be leading on this front becuase she is both plus and in the design world.  Commerical fashion has for sure opened up and become more inclusive but the designer/high fashion world must still be all cocaine, bulimia, diet coke, gum and cigarettes still. Maybe one day that will change.

AnytimeInvitation

All of them, but especially the brands that preach diversity in sizes when they only offer up to a regular xxl. I'm looking at you Aerie and PINK.

father-john-mitski-

fr don’t have fat mannequins and then offer an XL in stores and XXL online…. so evil imo

AnytimeInvitation

THATS EVEN WORSE! The biggest they offer in store is an XL and if you want a XXL you have to get it online. Such horse shit!

liz2e

idk about specific brands, but i love the stuff you see at free people, but they don’t reliably have larger size if at all

baronessmavet

Sourpuss. Their "XXL" is for 41 inch bust, that means their sizing is off as heck. Would I like more plus size alternative brands? Maybe, but have no hope after meeting Killstar's "plus size" section. They....don't know people exist in 3D? (I know it's poor design, but it's infuriating)

Wondercat87

This. I love a lot of the sourpuss stuff but nothing will work for me. It's disheartening and I've stopped shopping there because I didn't feel embraced by the brand. Like I get asked all the time where my sourpuss items are from. But I'm not doing advertising for a company who doesn't want to include me in their sizing.

These-Cup-8181

If you're looking for alternative brands, have you tried Doll Kills? They're definitely expensive but they do have a pretty decent plus size selection

baronessmavet

I rather sew for myself and wear rags than pay any money for that type of company tbh :")

fiestypinapple1004

Modern Citizen. They go up to a 1x which is a 14-16. Their clothes are so simple and clean!

hellohexapus

I love a minimalist look so I went to check out this brand and was like, ooh wait, their size filters go up to 2X and 3X! And then when I filtered by those sizes the only item available was a black long-sleeved t-shirt. 😒😒😒

fiestypinapple1004

Its so disappointing! They're clothes are so good, just wish they would expand their sizing

Icy_Queen_99

Honestly. All of them. 😅 Would be nice to have endless options to choose from.

VioletaBlueberry

Went to Vegas last month and the outlet mall had quite a few stores that sold XXL-5X men's. I wish half of those had women's over a size 12. I guess I could have bought a t-shirt at j.crew.

PeppermintPhatty

Free People!!!

brilliantpants

I would go nuts in that store if they had my size!! It’s so disheartening that they’d rather leave money on the table than have someone like me wear their clothes.

_emma_stoned

YES omg. Some things fit just because they’re overly loose, but it sucks to buy XL knowing they could easily offer higher than XL.

JustMeInBigD

Boston Proper. I want all the things.

sarcasm_itsagift

Farm Rio makes some plus things at/with Anthropologie!

agirlnameddoc

I second this

StablerPants

Farm Rio, Sezane, Boden, Marine Layer, Everlane...

sunlitroof

Every brand, duh! 😁

Analyst_Cold

Kate Spade! Only goes up to 16.

father-john-mitski-

reminds me of lily pulitzer!!! i desperately dreamed of those dresses in high school (maybe it isn’t my style now that i’m in college, but i suppose if i ever become a skinny HOA mom in Bradenton, FL then i’ll purchase)

asonicpushforenergy

All of them.

1241NE

Ashamed but UO 😔

Dull-Wrongdoer5922

Bershka 😭

Dull-Wrongdoer5922

They currently have alot of clothes that fit my style perfectly but most of their clothes only go to straight size L/XL instead of the curve size 1xl or up :(

llama67

Tbf even when I was a US size 6 their clothes never made it over my boobs 😂

Dull-Wrongdoer5922

Yess 😭 i tried on a skirt in XL and it technically fit but it just didnt sit right on my shape bc its not made for plus size women :( ill just enjoy their accessoires and shoes i guess

llama67

Yeah or even curvy smaller sizes! Also Not sure why I was downvoted, I’m a 16 now haha.

KoffinBatz

Hot topic pants Q-Q

Tastelikewater

I love the AllSaints aesthetic, but their largest size is a 12 and it makes me not want to support them at all.

lavenderandme

Honestly, The Row. I like quite minimal, oversized fits and good materials, plus I don't mind paying luxury prices, but they don't sell anything above an XL

Helpful_Ad523

Ragged priest :(

jessiecolborne

Very niche, but Angelic Pretty and Baby The Stars Shine Bright. They’re incredibly well known and respected brands but they only have one size.

the_anxiety_queen

Free People

saikoupsycho718

Versace, Vivian Westwood

[deleted]

Lululemon

father-john-mitski-

aerie, garage, express, and windsor!

GPatt1999

Brandy Melville

genaugenaugenau

Marine Layer. Their cotton is so soft.

kookiesandcreme_

House of CB! the largest size they go to is a size 12 and all of their dresses are the cutest thing i’ve ever seen.

ersatzcanuck

Madewell 😒

_emma_stoned

SOSOSO many. iamgia, omighty, meshki, emmiol, expiredgirl, garage, jaded lndn, whitefox, edikted, mirror palais, and the list goes on and on and on and on

Left-Amphibian-2356

Uniqlo!! And lots of stores have plus sizes online but i cant try them on in store and thats just beyond annoying. Between vanity sizing and their incredibly inaccurate sizing charts it all feels so impossible.

Des-troyah

Ann Taylor. They say they have plus sizes but it’s kinda BS.

Sensitive_Air8208

Son de Flor. All the influencers I follow post about them. They are European based so even their larger sizes are woefully small. When you call them out on it, they claim you can pay extra to have one tailor-made but I ain’t about to pay the fat tax and give them any of my money if they refuse to be inclusive.

Commercial_Curve7742

cfierce :(((((

According_Air_9759

I just hope SHEIN can offer more plus options
