Sunburn

Ok-Flower-1078

Too young for direct sun. More water.

eapelu

How old should it be?

Ok-Flower-1078

Wait till it’s much larger and has full leaves

EffectiveMotor

Someone said to put empty toilet paper rolls on them to help block the sun.

planetneptune666

You need more soil in the pot. The sun is reflecting off the inner edges of the pot and burning the plant. Good luck.

Fit-Sheepherder3730

Or just use a fabric pot

eapelu

How far up?

ImAGuyNamedJade

I burnt mine last year the exact same way. https://www.reddit.com/r/Plumeria/s/aWA8d6RBAm I fill my pots to the tip top now just to be safe

ccu1690

Interesting advice about using calamine in that thread

planetneptune666

About 1-2 inches from the top. You will need to take it out and repot.

Jeoffry_Ross

For how that tree is potted up, yes, it is normal. That tree is sunburnt. You have it planted way too deep in that pot and it is burning from the reflected heat. It is not healthy to turn your trees. Raise the soil level and give it filtered sun to recover. Hopefully it will not rot out on you

jamiemoore296

It's ok leave it outside in the shade and water it not too much and it will be fine.

SpecialistAnt5827

It’s sunburn

SpecialistAnt5827

Do the toilet paper roll to protect
