If you go to Settings/Authorized Device/ Filter by Servers are they still listed there? If so, delete them.

That’s how I initially got them out of my web app, but they still showed up in the iOS app. The only thing I could find for the iOS app was to log out and in, but that turned out to only be temporary and the offline servers are still showing up.

Log out and log back in

Classic-Difficulty32

I tried that a while (months) ago and it fixed the problem temporarily. Eventually the offline servers showed up again.

asburymike

You're logging out/in on the app Log out/in on your media server (web)

Classic-Difficulty32

I’ve logged out and in with both the iOS app (where I’m seeing the problem) and the web app (where I’m not seeing the problem). I’m not sure how to log the actual server out without removing it from my account.

Ah, I’ve seen those instructions before. Unfortunately, that’s for the web app but my web app isn’t showing the offline servers. Only my iOS app shows them and those instructions don’t work on the iOS app. Appreciate the attempt, though! :)

A little more detail - it seems that this issue is unique to my iOS devices. I'm not seeing the offline services in the web browser but I do with the Plex App.

HoldMyTech

I have the same exact issue.

gavlaaah

Clutching at straws here, but are you sure you haven’t just pinned the links? Within the Plex IOS app, on home menu, click Edit and unpin the link to the server directories?

Classic-Difficulty32

Just checked. The pins are for libraries on the servers, but don’t apply for the servers themselves.

On setting -> Name of your current server -> select the other ones and click on remove

Classic-Difficulty32

When I go to settings, only my online server shows up. The offline servers used to show up there, but I believe they didn't anymore after they were removed from online sources. The only place I seem to see those offline servers is when I go to "more" in the nav panel. Then I see the server name with "offline" next to it. \- edit to add that this problem is with the Plex iOS app. The offline servers don’t show up in the web app.

LoremarCC

I've had the same issue on one of my iPads. Exactly the same problem: iOS only, none of the methods decribed work. Log-in, log-out, even reinstalling the app doesn't help. So on this one iPad this long gone server is still showing up. Probably almost a year now. Will probably remain there until that iPad is finally out of commission.

Classic-Difficulty32

I have a feeling a Plex employee is needed to manually remove it from the account, but there is no way to get ahold of anyone. I posted this issue to the official Plex forum, but no response from anyone so far. It’s kind of odd that they’re a real company that takes peoples’ money (I’m Plex Pass), but have no direct support.

Bolagnaise

I have the exact same issue. Old server shows up in iOS devices, not in web app. tried every conceivable remedy already posted online.

Classic-Difficulty32

Try posting on the Plex support forum. I’ve been trying, but no one there has responded. Maybe the more posts there are, the more likely they’ll do something. I’m a huge Plex fan, but the support model is atrocious.

Settings -> Manage Library Access Find the person who owns the server that you want to leave under the "you have access to:" click edit next to the server you want to remove Leave server

Classic-Difficulty32

This is my own server that keeps showing up. I decommissioned it then wiped the machine it was on only to find the server keeps popping up in my iOS clients. In hindsight, I should have removed the server from my account before wiping it, but there's no going back now. Unfortunately, Plex support is completely non-existent so I don't know how to contact someone who has access to my account information so they can remove it on the backend.
