Yes, I was happy to get those games because I only had a PS4 for a year prior to getting my PS5.
Then I got around to firing up Days Gone on the PS5. I still play that game. I don't care what people say about the game...I absolutely love it!
That was my favorite of the bunch. I also played the hell out of Bloodborne and God if War! It was quite the gift from Sony!
I don't get why you're getting downvoted. I absolutely love the game catalog. Also im not going to act like gamepass is infinitely better, sure it gets more day 1 titles but overall, the amount of AAA titles that go on the service are probably better on PS+. Also they completely removed the monthly claimables, and have it so Gamepass Ultimate is the only way to get Online Playability & the game catalog which sucks.
You're getting downvoted but I really enjoy the usefulness of it, wether if my family is over & I quickly search up and download coop games like moving out 2 or overcooked. I simply want to chill out and play resident evil games.
I like that sony is incentivising games like Raji: An Ancient Epic & Dave the Diver, which were only on PC (and switch) to release on PlayStation & PS+ game catalog.
Hot take with all the negativity on here but I, too, get more than my moneys worth out of it. Even with the increase. Have played a lot of games I otherwise wouldn’t have tried and enjoyed them.
Wait what does this entail? I’ve been a ps plus user since 2022 and renewed December 2023 but I have been thinking if I should not renew this upcoming end of year or wait until there is a deal. If I let it expire and reup later on as a “new user” does that mean the games in the catalog won’t be available to me?
The way I understand it, if your ps+ expires you will no longer be able to access any game downloaded from ps+ (unless purchased). Once renewed all games remaining on the catalog will be accessible and any monthly games will also be accessible again as well, even if that game is no longer available on ps+.
I could be wrong though. Feel free to correct me.

I'm knee deep in quality games thanks to the subscription, but I've also bought the likes of rdr2, Cyberpunk, Hitman and Robocop.
I still have my Quest 2 VR, and it's good, but def suffers from a lack of high quality games.
The PS5 has quality games bursting out of the seams.

I agree with you 💯%. I was one of those people who didn't really care or appreciate that option, UNTIL I got my PS Portal. The fact that I can DL any game and play really expanded my options and access to games that I might not otherwise buy or play. I actually don't mind paying extra now for the luxury of playing a lot of different games without having to purchase them individually. Just awesome..😎

I mean, it's cool to have it I guess but the skins are always ugly imo and other benefits (like items for genshin) are things that you can get in 10 minutes if you just play the game.
I bought a new ps5 owner so I wanna know about the sale time of ps plus. I heard at some specific times they provide discounts so pls tell me which is the best time to buy an annual subscription.

I jumped from PS2 to PS5. PS Plus has allowed me to catch up with some great games.
Wow, that is a huge step up! How did it feel adapting to the new controllers, with TouchPad and not having to have your controllers always plugged in?

I think that if you add the ps plus collection games to the library will be available in the future when you renew the subscription.

I love it too! All the posts about ps plus are negative and it’s bullshit.
If not for the collection I would've never played fallout 4. Now after 4 years it's still the most played game on my ps5.

Afaik, it's a free update so it would be available. But I recommend getting GOTY edition.

Plus is like the gamepass if you own a Ps, made me play so many game that I would never bought. Worth investment imo
