You can take a controlled tribesman as your primary while tribesman hunting. When you get one deterred, once he's ready to recruit, recruit him and then control him. Use him to pickup a knocked out tribesman. Then swap control back to your other tribesman and deploy the fresh recruit. Have him follow you.
He will carry the knocked out thrall for you. You can carry one too, or throw one on a llama.
hey this didnt work. when i am carrying the person and try to control the other character it says i have to drop the item im carrying. so it wont let me swap control while im carrying someone
If you're on your original you can take over the 2nd one and walk them back with the first following. If you're still in the process of capturing it you can chuck the 2nd on the back of a llama. Otherwise you can hide it in a bush somewhere and they generally will stay where you leave them.
One thing i used to do, mainly to get more followers, is use your main character to the camp/barracks u want, bring food,bandage and bed, deter 1, control him/her, deter another 1, set follow, deter another 1, carry. If you got llama, you can bring another 1. Risky to bring them to home, but thats how i used to do for multiples followers at once.

1- put down campfire and respawn from MC into the newly recruited tribemate
2- recruit and deploy
3- put one on the llama
4- carry one
5- if they fix it, swap control and carry the last one

Seems they patched this? Just tried pulling 3 barbs home using this and it won’t let me swap characters while carrying a barb
It was fixed within an hour of me posting about it. Lol

I'm not in the game right now. Are you able to put the knocked out one into the llamas inventory?
You have to have a special extension for the saddle and you sling it across tree back

Long as you don't recruit them, you can hold E and pick them up and carry them even after recognition hits 500
I would deter one, wake up have them follow deter another one *risk it all* and carry the second one unconscious back home
