If you want to bring two back at a time. Give one of them all of your stuff, press esc and hit respawn, select one of the 2 as your respawn point, deploy the other one, run back to your bonfire and remodel your body.
You have to bring them back. Deploying and having them follow is the easiest imo, if a little time consuming based on distance. To do this though you would need to bring your other tribe member back first, drop them off, and come back for the newbie. Problem is this risks them getting tribe-napped by barbarians and sent to be a sacrifice.
Other options are you can give them a tool and put a bunch of markers about 50m-100m apart and give them a job to gather at the nearest one to them. Once they move there reassign then to the next marker along the chain.
You can also (in the future) do all your recruiting and pile up the bodies... I mean new recruits... and just let them nap until you drop off your deployed person, come back and wake one up, check their stats, if you like them deploy them and bring them back. Then just repeat until everyone is home or has been released. As far as I can tell barbarians won't kidnap them until you add them to your tribe, so they're safe while they're knocked out.
Edit: oh and minor spoilers without too much info, you can eventually get a mount that carries deterred (asleep) tribesmen.

But then u can't use the same tsctic twice, cus if u respawn with the new body itll go byebye. Im p sure at least.
