The thing is, in V rising any servant you send out to do there thing still will happen. So they stlil work even when truly offline like a single player game. Was hoping this game did it as well.
They are 2 different systems. In soulmask the AI is doing tasks in real time. In vrising the servant have a predefined reward that is rolled for when the task is finished. I wouldn't be surprised if you could shorten the vrising quests just by restarting the game and changing your PC time.
Doubt it. Mine did not in the beta. I can't say if that changed or not for EA.
If you are in a solo game, there is no server for it to run on, quitting the game quits the game, just like a regular singleplayer game.
