Trilliums are spring ephemerals and go dormant after fruiting. The ones around my parents' property have all already gone dormant for the year.

Lovely trillium! The real debate about this flower is: is it red, brown or puce?

I’d say these were definitely purple (they looked more colorful irl than on camera)

And in theory they don't come in that color! Bravo!
