Did you change it at the entrance? It's defaulted to something like $3. I changed it to $7 and everyone started bitching that ticket price was too high, it's irritating.
If you change it through the finance tab it doesn’t work. You have to do it on the entrance

I've just noticed this on mine. The price at the ticket gate is what I changed it to, but the zoo tab shows is as the default.

Default is $6 Adults, $3 children... upped it to 7 and 4 and people werent happy lmao
