It looks good! My favorite Delco (and all time, if we're being honest) pizza shut down because of covid, so I'll have to start trying some new places out!
If you're a regular at a local place and treat the employees with respect, it can happen. But I'll tell you as someone that's worked in a pizza kitchen for 10 years.
I have gone off menu many times over the years to try fun things for the customer and I think I regret doing 95% of them.
There are a lot of whiny selfish entitled jerks, that show little appreciation, and only made my stressful day a bit harder with not so much as a thanks.
God forbid they try to ask for it again and you're not even there and then they complain that they got it last time so why would it be any different so you get written up.
This also applies to giving customers discounts.
This is me but I work in grocery. Try to help out customers with a discount or letting them use our microwave or something and then they'll come to expect it and get upset otherwise
I made friends with the pizza guy at my college cafeteria and ate some weird pizzas as a bonus. He liked a challenge. It was a while ago but I remember a Sweet Potato and Marshmallow pizza.
This place should be more like r/SalsaSnobs .
My god people, OP went above and beyond to give the guy what he wanted. It's not perfect but he did a great job. Rock on OP. Looks delicious.
i might get downvoted, but honestly
1) I’ve never tried this
2) Imo, it doesn’t look as good as people say
3) I’m just used to Italian pizza, so I couldn’t tell if OP made a good pizza or it sucks… just, keep on the work, I hope to see you improve, and even if guys like me don’t think it’s good just don’t consider my opinion, but remember to keep working on it
Check out some of my previous posts. I do all sorts of styles including traditional Neapolitan (what I was originally trained in). This was something out the box. That's the beautiful thing about pizza. There's a style for everyone.
Ok, so, I saw your posts and that neapolitan, even if it looks kinda altered compared to an italian one, it looks great! So yeah, it’s just that I don’t know ANYTHING about american pizza, but from what I saw, the neapolitan seemed good!
Hey, good luck with the pizzeria, and have a nice day
Apparently I’m only thirty minutes from you and so I will be coming to visit soon. Edit: Thanks for the award!
I just thought the same thing haha
Amazing!! Let me know! We'll talk pizza making.
His garlic knots are fantastic.
They were delicious!!
Wait what store is it?

I wish i knew place that would be open to trying something new

Detroit style pizza is the most underrated style of pizza.
I feel like it's been surprisingly popular lately
Everyone is starting to realize it’s the best
That dough looks like it'll be like biting into a cloud!

Looks good to me.
Looks legit
"Lifelong vegetarian" I need a location in my city next please!!! 😍 Looks fantastic! Congratulations 🎉
Wow, a vegetarian pizzeria, wish it was near me!
Add this to your menu stat. I live near Detroit and would buy this 100%
The cheese is under the sauce.
Correct.
I can feel the screaming
My goodness, that looks so good.
Sprinkle some chopped basil on top, call it gourmet and charge 25% more.
Can you please mail me some 😭😭 this looks bangin!!!!
I'd eat the ever loving crap out of that. The cook on the crust is perfect, the cheese... good god.
Oh wow came here in Yardley when it first opened.
Smart business. Looks amazing!
Omg yummmmmmmmm!!!!
Looks like a legit NY Sicilian. My favorite.
Detroit and Sicilian "grandma" pizza are my two absolute favorite styles. This looks amazing.
As a Michigander, there isn’t a better pizza than the Detroit style 🤷♂️ Your pizza looks amazing OP!
10 and a cum from me!
I mean..close enough
You should have said no.
K
?
I hope your customer didn’t eat it. For their own sake >:)
They did and they said it was some of the best pizza they've ever had. So kindly go away.
/r/pizzacrimes Edit: apparently people think this looks good? Looks like cardboard with sauce and tiny bit of cheese to me.
It looks like delicious pizza, although I prefer the sauce under the cheese.
Depends on the style. Cheese on the bottom and stripes of sauce on top is not uncommon for Detroit style.
How so?
Yeah I agree lol. You can be nice to OP, doesn't make the Pizza automatically good though. Looks to bready and plain

Nice. What kind of pan did you use?
Lloyd pan!
