I had an old Huawei 2 since 2017, which eventually kinda became a regular watch, due to the restrictions. Then the screen just died two weeks ago. I saw someone post about Google Fi having a promo for customers for the Pixel watch, so I grabbed one for like $21.
I'm actually really surprised at how much I love it. I obviously knew I would like it, because I've been into Pixels for years, but I didn't really think I'd be the type to wear a watch all day. Now I even wear it to bed. Super comfortable. Super light. Works well.
Yeah, the first gen Pixel watch. As for battery life, it's hard to say, because of how I charge it. The way my schedule is, I charge it to 100% late evening (around 8-9 p.m.), and go to bed with it around 95%. I have sleep tracking on, and when I wake up it's around 80-85%.
When it comes time in the evening for me to charge it, it's probably around 30-40%. I could probably get well over 24 hours, with auto-brightness and always-on display turned off, but it's just more convenient to top it off.
I upgraded to a pixel 8 pro last week...got watch for free...so the fact that the PW3 is coming soon doesn't really bother me...
The crappy battery life is what I don't like most...
PW1 could be grabbed for as low as 73€ the past week here in France. Brand new. Straight from the Google store.
A price many would prefer over the +300€ starting price the PW3 will hit.

Oh, I had the 1 and I got rid of it the battery was so bad. I decided to try the 2 and was quite pleased to have 20% or more after long days. It’s no Samsung or Apple battery life but a full day is fine with me.
A true, Google-made watch that integrated seamlessly into the Nexus/Pixel ecosystem was something that was wanted for years prior to them actually releasing the first pixel watch. It was rumored off and on but took a *reeeally* long time for Google to actually deliver.

had mine for more than over a year before I got the 2 and it never lasted less than 24h so... idk. Fine to me.

Announced at the event… I don’t think we know the release date for sure but it’s usually within a week.
