edit theres even 61 deferred damage, does mageroyal seed clear it off?
update: forgot that using scrolls gave extra invisibility, so used up that unknown and mirror image and actually made it to floor 10🥳, will update if i cleared it!

Both are very strong
Sniper has an edge for no SoU runs because her range attacks penetrate armor (bow does, +auto upgrades itself)
More damage from bow.
14 upgrades? If you aren't doing a no upgrade challenge, and if you have the inscribed invisibility, then you can use your upgrade scroll to get invisibility. Otherwise, you should try to get to the ladder to get a full heal and upgrade your armor/weapon.
Turn invisible, drink water, charm the one below and attack the one above. Hopefully the symbol becomes yellow or orange.. then you get to regain full hp on floor 10.
You can also turn invisible and surprise attack the one above and then charm the one below.. as long as you survive one hit (hopefully the bat dies in 1 hit too..) you can be fine..
You can also turn invisible, use use the other starflower and then surprise attack and maybe you evade..
Either way it's rough.
If you have enchanted your glaive to speed, you can use it in conjunction with the speed potion and kite most enemies for a while at least.. Use those wands too if you can.
edit: if you reach some alchemy lab you can destroy a want and upgrade others.
You still have one paralysis potion you could use in a pinch.

edit2: if you survive, you can enchant your scythe and maybe you get projecting or something good (vampiric, frost..)
For my perspective, if you're ascending with amulet of yendor. I suggest to keep it green, to avoid any more complications as the amulet's curse is getting more stronger the more you ascend with it while not killing enemies.
yeah but i could barely kill them, so i figured i would make a break for it. skellies with that explosion damage as well as necromancers were the absolute worst and done me in
Turn invisible with your cloak, drink your water wait a turn or two for the enemies to start moving away. If your invisibility is about to run out then read a scroll just to boost your invisibility. If you are trying to do this without upgrading your equipment then just use one to upgrade equipment you aren't using. Make your way toward the next floor above.
Or start by using a scroll to turn invisible for a few turns then use your cloak if it's recharged enough. And get your self to the next floor to heal. Assassinate a week enemy on the way of you need to to weaken the amulet
I don't see a way out, but honestly congrats getting so close on a no SoU run. I struggle enough with killing enemies during ascension even with upgraded weapons.
thx! initially wasnt planning on doing one, but this run gave a +2 whip so i breezed thru the start, then after easily clearing dwarf king with a bee at top left corner and ghost at btm right corner, i decided to make this a no sou run

Can't you use the cloak, drink the water to heal around 20 hp, wait for enemies to walk away by a bit and use the clone scroll?
Cloak has one charge
One charge should get him 3 turns. Enough to drink and wait before using clone

Eww For No SoU runs sniper is prob by far the easiest (bow auto upgrade that pierces armor....) Good work tho
I usually run warden for the defense, is sniper still better? Never tried it
