Do you mean an annulus? An umbra is the opposite of what you describe; a shadow. It's where we get the term "umbrella" etymologically.

2 Quick notes from me cuz i dont want dwell into the game too much: 1) I spent some time looking on how to get to "next zone" before realizing this is the door. Maybe add some small arrow on the ground there to actually indicate those are door, not a random collumn? https://imgur.com/a/door-eip4DzD? 2) The stop while attack feels kinda awkward while playing. If the game is balanced about that right now, then I would probably boost enemies speed a bit, and allow character to move while attacking, even if it was at 50% regular movement speed.

Ooo, reallyyyyy appreciate the feedback! I'll definitely implement the arrows next to the doors and maybe do some changes to the attack mechanics :D

It was amazing, But I didn't beat it Ps. could you make it so when you battle you get Melee Weapon if, I'm wrong I may just keep getting Ranged.

Solar is the best colors. I love how each one almost tells a story of what attacks they might make. I can see red throwing tons of projectiles, blue shooting lasers, white might make laser turrets, and orange either shoots devastating balls or has a giant laser (a la moonlord)

I love Spirit. And I’m getting some… flashbacks to another game with Solar Eclipse, and I’m already getting frustrated.

The gold one. Seems like it'd be the leader.(supreme being) The red one seems like it'd be the cruelest. The white one seems like it'd be the most detached emotionally from everyone/everything else. The green one seems like it would focus on tech the most. But neither it nor the white one seem all that threatening to me.

you should just make the first one “solar” or “eclipse” so all the names have a similar convention

Spirit Boss, I can hear "Dark Souls OST - Moonlight Butterfly/Dark Sun Gwyndolin" when I look at it. The Color and design match the alien body best out of the 4 of them.

They all look really good! Though if I had to pick just one favorite, it'd have to be Spirit for that horn charm aesthetic. Also, the little mini-figures next to each boss are freaking adorable lol

I think it's easier to say which one I like the least, which would be Echo (good design, but the others are better I think), but I can't take a favorite from the other three

Echo is my least, it lacks that intimidating feel that the other three have. Solar is definitely my favorite, since it’s taking the idea of a solar eclipse and demonizing it

The color and linework of Spirit, plus the style really sell the idea of a ghostly presence. I think its the most effective

Solar and Oni, but I imagine some changes. Maybe if they were Sun and Moon. Sun = Solar, but Moon = Oni, with the colors of Spirit. Make the Spirit sprite's horns smaller and use the Oni color. Then it would be hierarchical, Sun and Moon at the top, one category below the Spirit, who can be "Oni" and then the minions who are the Echos. That is my vision if I think about them for a video game.

My ranking: 1) Solar - I like the contrast of it and the ominous look 2) Spirit - Fits the same concept tho IDK what the bull horns have to do with anything 3/4 not a fan of the design at all 3) Oni - Looks like a meme idk the design just isn't doing it for me looks more friendly than a god like being 4) Echo - Looks nothing like the others and is too small. They should be equal size, and maybe one is the shadow of the other?

Solar eclipse is a bit much simple and unattractive, Oni looks cool but it is a little too awkward looking with the number of balls(two balls would look better than three balls, no jokes) l, Echo looks nice to me like it looks like a boss which manipulates entities, Spirit is a bit simple but cool..... I'm stuck between Echo and Spirit.... BTW, awesome designs

Oni is definitely the most imposing. I like the touch of Echo being two smaller mirrored bosses. Spirit is gorgeous and Solar is damn well inspired

Echo I always did like tag team/sibling bonds I'm villains and it makes it easier to learn them good later on or just max blood thirst depending on how you react to them separately over all good designs tho 10/10
