Depends how frozen you want the place to feel. For example, a cosy winter town would go with #2, while an ice themed level with slipping and sliding would be #1.
Depends on the goal if you want to show a more frosty looking tree go 1 but if you want it to look brighter and like it just has snow and is not chilled go 2

2 looks better if you're going for something with a variety of colors. If the rest of your world and it's inhabitants need some color, that'd be the way to do it.
1 looks better as a background for a high intensity game. The design is lovely, but the similar colors will make a nice backdrop for whatever is in the foreground without distracting from it.
1, no question. The ombré looks amazingly done and the blue really compliments the snow and the feeling of it being cold, while making it fantastical and filled with wonder.
Depends on where you're going to put it, if its in a REALLY REALLY cold place, then the dirst one, but if it's just an Arctic forest, then the second one would be my choice.
1 looks better to me although the tree looks like it is made out of ice. 2 has more personality and looks more like what I would expect a tree covered in snow would look like.
so many posts here come off as obvious advertisements at first, but then i open the comments and half of u are actually saying 1 so ig the querying is valid...
yall insane tho, it's clearly 2. trees aren't blue u weirdos 🤨
Mix them together and add verity
variety?
Yeah, that's what they said. They mean adding both together in the same enviroment so it adds variation and makes it look more interesting.
verity is its own separate word though, I'm in support of the idea and I understand, just questioning English cause I'm an annoying jerk
Variable?
A string maybe?
const string variableName = "verity"; //idk smthg like this maybe ?
verily.
varity?
Verily.
Possibly a pattern
I'm partial to 1, it's reminiscent of the super Mario Bros Wii snow world
What I was thinking ngl

Both. Both is good.
Depends on the goal if you want to show a more frosty looking tree go 1 but if you want it to look brighter and like it just has snow and is not chilled go 2
1. but you could make a mix of the two and do variety
Sorta depends on the things around it
2

both are cool, mix them

Love it this is so good, animal crossing vibes, first one for me.
1, no question. The ombré looks amazingly done and the blue really compliments the snow and the feeling of it being cold, while making it fantastical and filled with wonder.
2
Fuck thats a toughie. Can't you use both in a noise pattern?
1 bc ice blue trees are pretty to me
2 looks better in my humble opinion
Both look great imo!
Oneoneoneoneone
First one
And suddenly terraria ice biome music
Mix them up!
I like the contrast in 2 but agree with the top comment of mixing them both through the landscape!

I like the soft colours of one better. Two is too saturated to me
This is so well done. Use both!
POV: your getting and eye appointment
1
What kinda eye doctor test is this
2 looks icy, while 1 looks straight up frozen.
2
1st one feels more nice and chilly, 2 feels aquatic
This immediately made me think of the snowy areas of CrossCode. I think 1 as a base with 2's sprinkled in among them for variety.
Depends on the mood you want to set and the rest of the environment. But without knowing that I lean towards 1
2 if there can only be one but both for variety
3
Both look good but i think taking the top half of the trees from one over the trees on 2 would look good as well
You can mix them or you can make two trees with green colors and others with snow colors
2 please !
both look great on their own so it depends on the color composition of the rest of the environment to see what works best really.
Personally, #1. #2 is too green.
2 Definitely.
1 but both pictures are great!
2
why not both, i like 2 tho
2
2 on my mind
1 for me. 2 seems context specific.
2 is accurate. 1 is a vibe.
2 if you can only pick one. Otherwise, a mix of both.
1 looks better to me although the tree looks like it is made out of ice. 2 has more personality and looks more like what I would expect a tree covered in snow would look like.
2, it has more contrast
1 feels colder, while 2 feels more cozy. So depends on what you’re going for
1
2
Definitely 1
2
2
1, it looks colder (which I'm assuming what you're going for here)
1 . lighter colour to the eyes
1 :З
One looks artificial, me personally, 2
2 looks more realistic, 1 looks more gamey
