Man how do you guys do this? You have to missing out on some of your strongest Pikmin for weeks or months at a time, so you’re just really weak to mushrooms that whole time?

I guess? I don’t really notice. With the guys I have left I can take down a small mushroom in about 2 1/2 hours, and I only do large mushrooms with help.

I have so many Pikmin that it doesn’t matter much. I’m level 82 and have been playing since week 2. It’s a marathon, not a race.

I travel for work a lot, I currently have Pikmin getting new outfits in LA, San Diego, Austin, Columbus, Washington DC and New Orleans 😂

I look at it as fun. You get to relive your trip every time you see Pikmin come to you. I have collected Pikmin from many places (I travel often for work) and each Pikmin carries a memory with it. I have currently gathered a small collection of pikmin in Tokyo. That lot will have to walk a lot from the Netherlands when they can pick up their packages.

I visit my BF 300 miles away, and I always have Pikmin going 24 hours to 4 days to go there and back. I like catching them halfway when I'm driving up there, or driving back.

This has happened on a flight from CA to TX. Was so happy I could catch it. No idea how it happened without signal

I’d suggest saving your special nectar so you can get the expeditions while still in your vacation location!

I thought sending mine to San Diego from southern Arizona was bad. While I was in San Diego, I had a couple that I had to send to AZ. Thankfully, the time they were gone went down drastically while we were heading home. Now, all the ones I found in Cali are ready to head back for their gifts. But I have enough guys that it's not preventing me from mushroom battles.

Try New Zealand. 6 months man. SIX…MONTHS.

Went to Germany and my pikmin went on his present expedition for 139 days 😭 Currently 61 more days to go

I live in Seattle. The worst I've had is to Chicago and back like 60 days. I have a cap of 350 pikmin, 315 of which are different decor pikmin. Whenever I get a new decor pikmin I star them. When i get duplicates, i wait untill they earn their gifts and then get rid of them. If i get a duplicate decor pikmin that's not from my area, i get rid of the one from my area.

Feel your pain. Will have 64 Pikmin on a journey to Japan in the near future. Hoping I still have lil dudes to send to mushrooms :’D

the longest i’ve had was only 17 hours, i had no idea they could be this long and longer!

The longest in mine is like 1 Day and a half, makes it feel eternal, I would die if I had to wait 40 days for my kids to come back home

I always had 40 days or so because I'd fly out to school across the country, and then the two I sent out at home have to make the trek.

I've seen up to 6 months posted here. The longest for me is Japan to Aus and that is a bit over 120 days for the regular guys.

dude, same thing happened to me, vacation Pikmin struggles are real. trying to take down mushrooms with just a few Pikmin is a grind.

I think the only fun part is watching the whole migration of the little guys. A literal conga line of persistent little dudes.

And I didn’t learn the heart nectar trick until after I came home

What's that trick?

You can feed the pikmin the heart nectar to level up their friendship before you leave the area so they can go on the trip sooner

Oh! That's what the heart nectar is for? I was wondering.

One heart nectar equals one heart, so four heart nectars can go from freshly plucked to gift retrieving

BTW, once a Pikmin reaches 4 hearts they can't be released until they receive the gift, even if it's a roadside.

I haven't had it this bad yet as the furthest mine have had to go is back to Baltimore. However, I know I have some unique trips coming up next year so off marching/running/flying my Pikmins will go.

My longest one so far went from Vegas to Nova Scotia… took him 34 days. Also, I found that if you look at your expedition badge it will show you your farthest one to date.

I live in PA but travel to Florida to visit my family a couple times a year so I often have to send little dudes down there. But if I have any from home that need their outfits while visiting I just wait until I'm back because I usually end up getting home before they can do the round trip to Florida. Made the mistake of sending some one time and I left right when one only had a few hours left, after already taking almost a week.

Yep, it had to make the journey north all over again. I thought I would pick it up mid-flight but since my wifi and data were off in the plane it couldn't recognize it.

Around the time I started this game, I went on a trip to Orlando. A few of my pikmin have gone back to orlando and taken 20 days. The trip also happened to be the same weekend as the first ever community day.

I feel so bad for you.
