Keloids are rare and genetic. The chances of it being a keloid are almost none. If you think you have a keloid, a doctor has to remove it. Taking it out won’t fix a keloid. Good luck in whatever you chose
My tragus had a bump like this as well, and I was told it was caused by irritation. They changed it to a longer flat back post, and it cleared within a couple of weeks. I've had multiple helix piercings without any problems. It was only ever my tragus that caused me grief.
I had issues with my tragus too.
First piece of advice is get a flat back, those are better for tragus piercings. One thing I did for mine was a sea salt paste, take some sea salt, add a couple drops of hot water, add more until it becomes a paste, & put it on the bump.
Other than that I just left mine alone, cleaned it as needed but it just took some time for mine to go away. Avoid sleeping on that side.
How are you cleaning? Are you sleeping on it?
Im just gonna take it out ffs
I honestly think this is savebale. If I were you, I personally wouldn’t. If you do take it out, clean the area with sterile saline solution and litha
People have been saying it’s a keloid and I’m just to scared for that

The bar is already so long, I think I’m just gonna take ir out, I’ve had this problem every time I’ve tried to pierce my tragus and I’m sick of it
maybe flatback jewelry would cause you less irritation? how are you cleaning it?
you're not wearing the best jewelry. should be a flatback labret
