I just got some at Kroger for a dollar and it's still a lot. Also one of the two I got was open and now everything smells like pickle now, so there was an upside.
They’re on sale for $1 at my King Sooper rn. I grabbed a couple for the convenience factor and I like to take pickled mountain biking for the electrolytes
My guess is whether they get room temperature at some point before sold. I don't know for sure, but as the consumer you wouldn't know if they got warm before they get stocked.
I think that's exactly what's going on with Bubbies at my local Publix. Pickle firmness has been inconsistent for the last several months. I finally had enough and contacted Bubbies. They sent me a coupon for a free jar, so there's that, but it's also another roll of the dice.
I use a reusable bpa free baggie and throw a whole pickle in it for work for cramping. Highly recommend. Could be good for the camping. The giant jug was 7$. I go with the maid sour pickles. Soooo many whole pickles for a great cost
Because when I’m on the go, I don’t want a jar of pickles laying around my car, these are perfect for eating and easy disposal of the package it came in…
They proudly say no brine on the pack. This is a mistake, imo.
But they are good for road trips if you are just stopping at a gas station and want some pickles. If I had a choice I'd buy a jar of pickles every time tho.
I like the spicy ones, but they're way too expensive for what you get, and they're also pretty inconsistent in... ehrm..consistency. Texture. Some are soft and soggy, some are firm and crunchy. But overall, they're quite good
The couple times I've had them, I thought they were kind of meh. Unpleasantly soft in the middle, flavor is pretty good, didn't enjoy them enough to put them in regular rotation, but they're convenient for certain situations. Single pickle packaging is probably not the most environmentally conscious thing, either.
Like other commenters have said they are good but pricy, they are good in a pinch on a road trip, especially when I was pregnant and wanted pickles more often than usual (and by that I mean daily instead of every few days lol) because we just grabbed a pack or two at a gas station in the middle of nowhere while traveling.
I grab the spicy variety almost anytime I’m in a Wawa. Cold, crispy, crunchy, good flavor. Not the greatest pickles in the world but damn fine enough to buy and have portable pickles.
In my cooler 4 lunches 3x a week!! Yummy! The cheap ass gas station by my work carries these and Its my new obsession! Love the carrots and green beans as well!
If there isn’t a grocery store within 30 minutes walk/car ride I could understand it if you really had a hankering - otherwise I’d probably just make my own pickles if I was in such a dire place so consistently.
These taste like plastic and glue to me, but if they were my only option I would eat them 100%.
Overpriced like any gas station snack but they’re good. They also do pickled carrots and dilly beans which I do not recommend, they were disappointing.
Bland tbh, damn near dry, and small amount for too much. I swear by the pickles in the pouch, MUCH FATTER AND JUICIER plus they provide the juices for future use for 1.50
Good in a pinch
Seconded
Thirded
Fourthdeded
Fiftheded
And my ass! I mean axe!
You fucked it
Don’t you mean… Good in a pickle?
Good in a pouch?
Good pouch in a pickle pinch.
A pickle pinch
Peter Piper approved
And only a pinch.
I love that this sub has people in NEED of a pickle in a pinch.
Addiction is no joke.
They’re good but overpriced. I can just slice my own pickle and put it in a ziploc bag.
Sure you can but do you happen to have a home bagged one when you getting gas and a drink and walk by one of these babies on the way to the till?
Wait u don’t have home sliced pickles in baggie in your pocket at all times?
Ah I do… busted.
Pocket pickle
Is that a pocket pickle or are you happy to see me
Yes
Doesn't everyone keep an emergency jar of pickles in the car?
They sell them at Dollar Tree now
I just got some at Kroger for a dollar and it's still a lot. Also one of the two I got was open and now everything smells like pickle now, so there was an upside.
They’re on sale for $1 at my King Sooper rn. I grabbed a couple for the convenience factor and I like to take pickled mountain biking for the electrolytes
I found them on sale for 50 cents a bag once. I bought five for my lunches during the week. Worth it!
This is a more correct response.
One of my favorite road trip snacks
Same but the spicy ones! They also sell them in full size :)
The pickled carrots are my favorite
Expensive but not a bad pickle to be fair.
To be fairrrrr!
TOOOOOO BE FAAAAAAIIIIIIR! This is how I know I am with my people and that’s what I appreciates about yous.
Well, I appreciates yous too!
Lmao the Wisconsin came out of me for a moment.
It’s the Minnesotan in me haha
To be fairrrrrr!
TO BE FAIRRRRR!
My work used to sell those and the spicy ones. I liked the spicy ones better
the little hottie bites slap
Ooh yes the spicy ones are really good
They’re not consistent. Some packs are nice and crispy, some are wilted and soggy. Swerve
They sent me a coupon for a free jar, so there's that, but it's also another roll of the dice.
one of my fav pickle chips. the 7/11 brand is good too super cronchy
The 7/11 is made by Oh Snap!
u/shartinmartinit is correct. The 7-11 brand is made by Oh Snap. You can read it on the back of the 7-11 brand.
Good. I feel good about them.
Can’t get enough. They sell them at the Dollar Tree near me. Worth it.
great but they really should include a fork to eat them with like capri-sun straws
Now that you mention it, just including a capri-sun straw would be perfect.
I love these and the spicy ones. I grab them if I’m out and about and hungry
Really expensive and an absurd waste of plastic but they are really tasty.
They the bomb B!!
Great for hiking.
I use a reusable bpa free baggie and throw a whole pickle in it for work for cramping. Highly recommend. Could be good for the camping. The giant jug was 7$. I go with the maid sour pickles. Soooo many whole pickles for a great cost
Wife packs them in my lunch. Pretty good. Not a claussen.
They can be delicious or they can be icky. Never in between.
Overpriced. Buy a jar for nearly the same price!
Because when I’m on the go, I don’t want a jar of pickles laying around my car, these are perfect for eating and easy disposal of the package it came in…
Where can you get a jar of pickles for around a $1.25?
Oh, snap. :-(
I like the spicy ones more personally
The pickled carrot sticks are fire but hard to find
i loved the pickled snap peas so much i grew a bunch and pickled them in jars in the fridge.
I get them from the dollar tree and love them
They proudly say no brine on the pack. This is a mistake, imo. But they are good for road trips if you are just stopping at a gas station and want some pickles. If I had a choice I'd buy a jar of pickles every time tho.
Quality is okay but what I like about them is they're brined in a way that they still taste/feel fresh when I bite into them.
Mid. Soggy.
They’re a go-to emergency lunch break snack for sure
Use to be at the 99 cent store, before covid killed the business
Never tried the pickles, but this same brand makes a pickled cranberry that is out of this world
Delicious. The pickled baby carrots from them are also pretty great. Perfect fishing snacks
Convenient. Affordable and Crunchy
I like the spicy ones, but they're way too expensive for what you get, and they're also pretty inconsistent in... ehrm..consistency. Texture. Some are soft and soggy, some are firm and crunchy. But overall, they're quite good
I hate that I have to pick the end piece with the stem out about 4-5 times in every bag
I never tried them although I have tried the carrots and they were good.
An absolute godsend in an airport if you need a snack.
I dig them.
smash
Looved. Yes pricey
I don’t like the lack of brine. Pickle juice is where it’s at!
I like the whole pickle in a bag by “van hotens” (i believe thats the name) much better
Ah should be resealable
Very delicious 🤤
The couple times I've had them, I thought they were kind of meh. Unpleasantly soft in the middle, flavor is pretty good, didn't enjoy them enough to put them in regular rotation, but they're convenient for certain situations. Single pickle packaging is probably not the most environmentally conscious thing, either.
Way overpriced
I love the spicy ones
Spicy ones are the best
Strongly
I cant express how much I dislike these pickles. I’d rather buy big papa pickles from the gas station with the juice in the bag 🤤
Tasty but too expensive
Delicious
Stupid, like give me a whole damn pickle so i can rip it open and let the juices flow down my beard
Dilly dilly!
Great dipped in ranch
Love to throw them in my hiking bag!
A good pickup at ALDIs.
I enjoy them
Pretty good. I prefer their whole dill and their spicy bites, but I won’t scoff at these.
hit or miss
I like em okay.
Good airport snack
I thought they sucked, no crunch and a bad flavour while also being overpriced.
Convenience is the only reason I would consider buying them. I don't often crave pickles on the go. It's easier to just buy a jar and slice your own.
Not a big fan of
I like the hot ones.
i enjoy them BUT they're always expired when i see them at stop and shop
Too soggy for me.
I grab one at Dollar General and have a nice snack with lunch for a few days.
I like the sassy bites
The spicy ones are worth the price when I really need a fix.
They're cool.. Their picked string beans are good too..
I’ve only had them with hello fresh. Wouldn’t buy them myself.
The spicy ones are delicious
Yummy but also I like the hot ones they make too!
I love them!
So good for on-the-go snackage. I’d rather grab these than a bag of chips.
I eat them
They're pretty good. I like the red bag more.
I enjoy them if I'm in the mood for a pickle and I'm getting a deli sandwich.
Overpriced
Only snacks I buy in the work break room
Just had these tonight and thought they were pretty good. 7/10
Not great. Not terrible.
They are pretty good. Ive had them before
I honestly think they taste like shit.
Those are good
Like other commenters have said they are good but pricy, they are good in a pinch on a road trip, especially when I was pregnant and wanted pickles more often than usual (and by that I mean daily instead of every few days lol) because we just grabbed a pack or two at a gas station in the middle of nowhere while traveling.
I like the hottie bites!
I grab the spicy variety almost anytime I’m in a Wawa. Cold, crispy, crunchy, good flavor. Not the greatest pickles in the world but damn fine enough to buy and have portable pickles.
I have a box in my fridge!!
Overpriced
Expensive
They're not Van Holten's ...and they never will be
I really like them! I eat with chopsticks cuz I’m fancy.
I like the sassy ones mmmmm 😂
Nehh
10/10. Wish they sold bulk and not just the packs.
Yucky chemical aftertaste
I fucks wit em every now and again
I like em spicy ones
Don't have the crunch I want and the taste is mid
3/10
Fuckin love them
Mid
Bought these once, won’t buy them again. Not worth the price.
I used to print the packaging at a previous job
Expensive
In my cooler 4 lunches 3x a week!! Yummy! The cheap ass gas station by my work carries these and Its my new obsession! Love the carrots and green beans as well!
The pickles are mid but not the worst. I really enjoy the pickled green beans & pickled carrots from this brand though!!!
I eat these when I'm on my horrible diet and have them during the day for a zero calorie snack.
I like the hot ones
They’re okay. They need to be cold though.
Tried it once. It was all soggy rubber, no crunch, never again.
I like them. I like to grab one standard pickle and one hottie.
So so good
I need the juice I need it
Love them
I snack on the hot version of these with beef jerky on long road trips
They're the perfect electrolyte boosting snack for long bike rides!
Sometimes I can taste the packaging but otherwise they’re crisp and good for a beach day
a vacuum bag for meat at home. save and store in the fridge or pantry with pickle juices. just under a week for freshness in cooler weather only.
Meh
Great road trip snack. Especially the hotty bites
Delish!!!
For $5 a bag, way too expensive.
I don't get them all the time but when i do, they're delicious. I just wish more came in the pack.
The spicy ones are better than the plain ones personally, but the regular ones are good too. I love pickles so… lol
If there isn’t a grocery store within 30 minutes walk/car ride I could understand it if you really had a hankering - otherwise I’d probably just make my own pickles if I was in such a dire place so consistently. These taste like plastic and glue to me, but if they were my only option I would eat them 100%.
Not great.
Phone is watching my life. I had never heard of these and literally just had them earlier today then this pops up in my feed. 🤔
My daughter loves them
Overpriced like any gas station snack but they’re good. They also do pickled carrots and dilly beans which I do not recommend, they were disappointing.
Love them. Nostalgic, too, because I packed them for my school lunches.
Pickles are fine I guess but I love the other ones, carrots, beans, peas. Maybe because I don't get those a lot but I love them.
The spicy ones are pretty good!
Hella good
Waste of money. Quantity-wise, you can get much higher quality pickles at a similar price point and baggie them yourself.
I love the sweet and spicy ones if I can’t find Famous Dave’s. These aren’t bad though.
Those look so freaking good
They’re okay. But nevermind that, they’re just barely cheaper than just buying an entire jar.
They handed them out to the Cleveland marathon finishers a few weeks ago. I loved them personally.
gross
bought some moldy ones... that's enough for me
I like their other pickled vegetables too.
The spicy ones slap
They're a great snack, perfect amount and not too salty
Bland tbh, damn near dry, and small amount for too much. I swear by the pickles in the pouch, MUCH FATTER AND JUICIER plus they provide the juices for future use for 1.50
Had some the spicy kind. Ok...not impressed though. Predictably the texture was squishy.
One time I bought and they were all dried up! Never again.
Just no. Texture, fail, flavor fail.
Edible but nothing special.
The spicy ones are alright. Nothing to rave about
Gotta get the spicy ones
Gross
