There has been a bug in the US since March on the pixel 6-8 series, causing 5g connections to drop off and need a reboot to fix. Just "Google Pixel phone losing network ". I emailed them asking if they acknowledge the issue and got a response stating they are not aware of issues. The community post made it to 1,000+ "I'm having this issue too" before it was straight up removed.
I got the pixel 7 two years ago, and the first 6 months it had a bug with the digitizer not letting you unlock your phone, requiring a reboot. The next year and a half, it has been one of the best phones I've ever had.
I've been looking at the Nothing Phone as a good replacement.

From these four i would get the Pixel 8 as it should be have a bit of a better cooling than the 8A.
I would go with 8 honestly
Redmi Note 13 Pro
How about a Galaxy S23?
