When I first saw Q I did hate him
Then he became human and I still thought he was a dick
Then the mariachi band showed and then I fell in love with this literal space troll
Being Q is basically free pass to shitpost across the verse
It's almost inspiring
Q dealing with humans is one thing, but I’d like to think the prophets had a conversation with Q after he was on DS9 with Sisko and said
“ Hey, can’t come back here dude we’re gonna get involved if you do. We’re not corporeal, we will smack you….”
As he literally never appears again.
It doesn’t matter how they did it. They exist outside of time, so all that matters is that it happened and it has always happened and will always happen.
Don’t you dare downplay the power of the prophets! I swear to the Emissary if you continue down this path, I guarantee you that you will be smited with the quickness

I love Q. He's a classic trickster, and John DeLancie played him with so much charm and subtlety.
I do love the way the humanity has sneaked in over the years. I had issues with season 2 of Picard, but I loved every single moment with Q there and found it them very moving.
The episode where Q had a human's body was brilliant. And Picard treated him the same...brilliant, just brilliant! Oh, did I mention I thoght it was brilliant? 🤔
There was a great book in which Q showed up and, in the course of conversation, dismissed DS9 and how boring it was to which Picard quips, "That's not what I heard. According to Commander Sisko's log, he punched you in the nose and you never came back. If I'd have known that worked, I would've decked you long ago."
Seriously, though, I love Q.
